I have a nagging problem where if I am on a voice call using my BT headset and my external GPS wants to get a traffic update via it's BT connection to my phone it will grab the BT connection from my headset and I loose the call.
I have seen some mention that a BT access point can handle multiple BT requests at the same time. It struck me that maybe there is already a software solution for this for WM6 devices.
Does anyone know of an existing product for WM6 that would solve my problem?
hi, after a rom update i cannot receive files over bluetooth. i can send files ok. also, when i click on bluetooth exchange i get the windows 'working' timer for a couple of seconds then it disappears. my phone is visible to others but they only get a "bluetooth failed. retry?" message. my phone will receive the remote request ok from sony ericsson phones so it does receive a bluetooth request, just not for pictures/vids/tunes etc
will upgrading the radio file fix this?
if its any help, my bluetooth shows as '2.0/2.0+EDR'
thanks, kris
EDIT: i've changed the settings in the bluetooth tab on the touchflo screen to show as visible and receive files etc
Hi,
Whenever I try to send media files through NFC it turns on the bluetooth and sends file through bluetooth. I want to know why my Xperia T does not send files through WIFI-Direct. I have tried sending and receiving files to/from Xperia S and S3.

Just wondering whether there is any fix for the bluetooth issue on 4.3 roms. I can connect my phone to car without any issues, but cant syn contacts or answer/reject calls via steering wheel. If not, is it possible perhaps to copy bluetooth related files over from 4.2?

Quite the same problem here. I can pair the XZ with my Car's device (ego flash), but I can't synch the phonebook.
I already deleted the Bluetooth setting on both devices, nothing helps
if somebody has a solution??

sorry for my bad english...
I'm having exactly the same problems.
And it seems as if every android update on my xperia z fixes some bluetooth bugs and brings up some new ones. After each update, my phone behaves differently in my car.
I had the exact same issue, (to give a little more detail) it causes you to either drop wifi connection when on bluetooth or vice versa and i had just bought a sony smart watch that ran off of bluetooth.I never found a fix from sony. What i did do to fix it was flash myself the latest eXistenZ rom, it worked perfectly and both my smartwatch and wifi could work at the same time
Same song different dance
My issues with 4.3 update are related to the poor performance of the bluetooth driver on audio connect.
I have downgraded to 4.2 because i use bluetooth headphones and i have 2 bluetooth speakers, that with the 4.3 are almost useless because:
Low volume output over bluetooth, quality of the audio is a bit down, and most important for a heavy sleeper, the bluetooth speakers are working only with music/video soundtracks, they are not ringing anymore on phone calls, alarms, notifications.
Please, anyone, put the 4.2 bluetooth driver somewhere, flashable or i dont know, i tried everything, but i guess the best option is to install the 4.2 bluetooth driver on 4.3. Is it possible?
Now I found an workaround for me. I deleted all the photos inside the contacts ( about 8 or 9 contacts of 331 had a photo inside). Phone-Book sync and sending contacts separately is working now. Not perfect, but OK for the moment.
Could this be a problem with Android 4.3 ? I never had that before with my Defy, Razr i, Wiko Darkmoon or Alcatel OT6040D.

I use Remote Phone (https://justremotephone.com) for handeling calls at work. Remote Phone uses bluetooth handsfree profile for the purpose of controlling my phone from the laptop.
When my phone is connected to my laptop with Phone audio, Input device and Contact sharing enabled, it can only connect to my BT headset using Input device and Contact sharing.
When my phone is connected to my BT headset or a BT-speaker with handsfree-support (e.g. my car) with Phone audio, Input device and Contact sharing enabled, my smartwatch (Gear S3) looses Phone audio (or disconnects).
When my phone is connected to my smartwatch (Gear S3) with Phone audio, Input device and Contact sharing enabled, it often fails to register and automatically connect to other known devices.
It would seem that the N8 Sirocco can not connect to multiple devices using Phone audio profile.
I have sendt an e-mail to Nokia support addressing this issue, and will post the answer here.
I'm still on Android 8.0.0, and hopefully this is a SW-problem that is corrected in 8.1.
I'm guessing there is not so many N8 Sirocco owners out there yet, but of the few that is out there, has anyone else experienced similar BT handling issues?
This might not be a problem with the N8 Sirocco, but a problem with BT handling on the Gear S3.....
i have a major BT connection issues with my GEAR s3. It doesnt pair at all. the process gets stuck on the galaxy and stars moving around and saying setting up your device. Any help on how to connect my gear s3?

Hi MrMastodon. Did you solve the topic? As I have similar issue with Nokia 8 and car BT device + GPS BT tethering...
I completely forgot to follow up, it turns out that the Galaxy Gear is known for causing exceptionally bad Bluetooth-performance when paired with non Samsung devices.. I sold it.
