I've had trouble installing a few apps, what I've done is you go tot settings and unmount your SD card then install the app, this typically works for me.

I have the same problem.
Have the same ROM, recovery, and kernel as you. It is annoying... Sorry I can't help but you're not the only one.
Just did a full wipe, rebooted, installed rom manager, and restored my latest backup and all is good...

I need some help figuring out why my camcorder force closes. I'm running CM7. I've tried wiping everything and re-flashing, clearing the camera data, fixing permissions, and searching the forums. Everything else works. When I try to use the camcorder it will force close, then my phone will reboot a short time later.
Try to uninstall the camera.apk and replace it with this one see if that works http://db.tt/dMMC8sj
I hope it works for you

The latest Fits one. This has been happening early on though. There has to be something different with my phone compared to everyone else running the same ROM because the camcorder works for them. Maybe I need a different kernel.
The kernal that I'm running is 2.6.37-cyanogenmod-01117-g3687213 [email protected] #1

That's what I was running, then I switched it to Redstar's. I don't know, obviously. My plan right now is to wait until RC1 comes out or a Fits build with more features and then flash back to stock and redo everything. I hope I don't have to, but I'm out of ideas.
Can anybody else offer some advice before I start wiping everything again?
Camcorder will freeze, then the phone reboots.
I've tried formatting the boot, system, data, cache, then flashing again. I've tried clearing the camera data. I've tried uninstalling the camera and reinstalling it.
I'm on RC1 of CM7, the latest HBOOT, and the kernel that comes with CM7.
i have the same issue tried switching kernels to no avail.
Count me in !

Try to clear your data in download manager.
Settings, applications, manage applications, all, download manager, clear data.
Cleared data, still no go. This is a fresh install from yesterday btw.

I would just go back into recovery, clear dalvik, clear cache and flash the ROM again.
Ill try that

Friends
This is my first post in captivate .
Yesterday i purchased a captivate from ebay. It is 2.3.5 , rooted and custom kernel installed.
When i install applications from sd card or market it works . But after a reboot the icons of new installed application is dim colour with a sd card picture. If i am try to open, it shows "application is not installed in your phone".
Any suggestions.
As i stated earlier i am new to captive.

Pretty much, agree. If you just bought this phone with a preexisting Rom installed on it, any number of things could be the matter. It sounds like the Rom isn't reading the external media card correctly.
Definitely try giving it a full wipe from recovery and toss on a fresh Rom.

Thanks friends. It is solved after reflashing the ROM. Thanks for your support.

Hi,
I recently flashed ARHD 61.1 and since then my notification LEDs are not working. All notifications are set to activate the LED but nothing does. The LEDs worked perfectly before I updated (I was on the previous version of ARHD before 61.1). Anyone have any experience with this sort of stuff or any fixes?

Do a clean reinstall from recovery, only this time don't log into your Google account. Once you have finished setting up your phone and the setup wizard has finished, log into your Google account .. Notifications will now work

Thanks, I'll try that. Would loading up a HTC backup mess around with the LEDs or would that be fine?

No it has to be a clean install. Your backup would have your Google account pre-installed.
Its a pain to reinstall all your apps but its the only way, sorry
PS.. Wipe cache, delvik cache, system and data but not internal storage. from recovery. Then install ARHD.
No offence to @mike1986 but aroma does not always play nice.

Over in the ARHD thread they had a good laugh today at how people mention " @ Mike 1986 " versus @ mike 1986 " (case sensitive).
Someday the user Mike19 (with a capital M) is going to log in again and discover about 10,000 mentions in his notifications ..
