Hi,
I recently flashed ARHD 61.1 and since then my notification LEDs are not working. All notifications are set to activate the LED but nothing does. The LEDs worked perfectly before I updated (I was on the previous version of ARHD before 61.1). Anyone have any experience with this sort of stuff or any fixes?

Do a clean reinstall from recovery, only this time don't log into your Google account. Once you have finished setting up your phone and the setup wizard has finished, log into your Google account .. Notifications will now work

Thanks, I'll try that. Would loading up a HTC backup mess around with the LEDs or would that be fine?

No it has to be a clean install. Your backup would have your Google account pre-installed.
Its a pain to reinstall all your apps but its the only way, sorry
PS.. Wipe cache, delvik cache, system and data but not internal storage. from recovery. Then install ARHD.
No offence to @mike1986 but aroma does not always play nice.

Over in the ARHD thread they had a good laugh today at how people mention " @ Mike 1986 " versus @ mike 1986 " (case sensitive).
Someday the user Mike19 (with a capital M) is going to log in again and discover about 10,000 mentions in his notifications ..

I've had trouble installing a few apps, what I've done is you go tot settings and unmount your SD card then install the app, this typically works for me.

I have the same problem.
Have the same ROM, recovery, and kernel as you. It is annoying... Sorry I can't help but you're not the only one.
Just did a full wipe, rebooted, installed rom manager, and restored my latest backup and all is good...

I need some help figuring out why my camcorder force closes. I'm running CM7. I've tried wiping everything and re-flashing, clearing the camera data, fixing permissions, and searching the forums. Everything else works. When I try to use the camcorder it will force close, then my phone will reboot a short time later.
Try to uninstall the camera.apk and replace it with this one see if that works http://db.tt/dMMC8sj
I hope it works for you

The latest Fits one. This has been happening early on though. There has to be something different with my phone compared to everyone else running the same ROM because the camcorder works for them. Maybe I need a different kernel.
The kernal that I'm running is 2.6.37-cyanogenmod-01117-g3687213 [email protected] #1

That's what I was running, then I switched it to Redstar's. I don't know, obviously. My plan right now is to wait until RC1 comes out or a Fits build with more features and then flash back to stock and redo everything. I hope I don't have to, but I'm out of ideas.
Can anybody else offer some advice before I start wiping everything again?
Camcorder will freeze, then the phone reboots.
I've tried formatting the boot, system, data, cache, then flashing again. I've tried clearing the camera data. I've tried uninstalling the camera and reinstalling it.
I'm on RC1 of CM7, the latest HBOOT, and the kernel that comes with CM7.
i have the same issue tried switching kernels to no avail.
Count me in !
I installed Nik Project X v4.1 ROM. Everything is working fine except
1. I am unable to sync my contact's photos with thier facebook photos in the phone app
2. While using the phone app and the message app, sometimes it seems that the phone has hung. But after a big wait the phone responds.
Any suggestions.
Thanks in advance

hmm... That's weird. Maybe you can try to dirty flash the ROM again. If that doesn't help: For your first problem you can use an app called HaxSync. It syncs contact photos, events and birthdays with your facebook and your phone. Works great for me But for your 2nd problem I hav no clue...
How much contacts do you have if you have a lot it will not respond

1st.Is your phone S-ON or S-OFF?
2nd.Are you using custom kernel or stock kernel?
I had issues when I was S-ON and installed a custom kernel. I lost my whole WIFI and phone app. Try to S-off if you are not.

1. Take a back up of personal data.( apps, phone book, etc...)
2. Re-install the rom.
3. Install Redux0.8 kernel. (Follow the instructions Step by Step)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1899335
BTW, Have you flashed the rom mods in recovery? After reinstalling the Rom, try to install the mods, then install the kernel.
I installed the following Rom [ROM] CyanogenMod 11.0 | Android 4.4.2 KitKat [UNOFFICIAL] [Jan-15]+[NIGHTLIES]. When I first installed I could not sync gmail or my exchange account. Someone suggested turning off auto sync rebooting then manually syncing, and finally turning auto sync back on.
This worked for me until I rebooted my phone and now nothing will sync. Gmail, contacts, calendar, exchange, nothing. If you try to manually sync the logo doesnt even spin.
I have tried everything I could find online. Deleting the account and readding, clearing data and cache and readding. Nothing works.
Does anyone have any other ideas?
Thanks

Yes, I did a factory wipe from TWRP recovery before installing. I used the latest gapps from PA for android 4.4. Should I be using an older version? the rom date is 1-15-2014, there is a PA-gapps dated 1-11-2014.
Did you turn sync on in account settings?

thanks for the help.
I tried the older PA gapps and the BaNKS gapps and the same issue. Syncs the first time, then after a reboot it no longer syncs
Well the only other thing I can suggest is disable syncing app data... Maybe you have some left over BS from a previous flash that is causing problems

You could also try running the latest nightly, and try a newer pa gapps:

Thanks rignfool and projectisaac I will try both of your suggestions tonight.
I have tried disabling sync app data and the latest nightly with the latest PA Gapps and unfortunately the problem persists.

Any progress on this? I have the same problem. Have tried many gapps and roms and I can't get gapps to sync.
I wonder if there is something else that can block he gapps syncing. Only way I can get mine to work is to restore back to a non-custom rom.
I recall having an issue with syncing months ago, but it has never popped up for me again. I am now curious if you can see your internal storage when you go to settings->storage.
One other thing to try is going to settings-apps-all and manually clearing the cache of calendar, calendar storage, and anything else you would want to sync.

I am pretty sure I had internal storage.
Also have tried most everything but will load a Rom again and double check.

So I retried with latest nightly and internal storage is fine. Also cleaned all data I could and can not get the darn thing to sync any data.
This is the craziest thing. As soon as I restore back to the Verizon ROM all is good.

Yes, I think you are right. I found my way here via a search. It is a very strange problem that has not happened to many folks so there is not much out there on how to fix it.
Resync
You can make urs cell resync by deleting and then recreating google account but this would delete all the new contacts
