Anyone else having problems with the NFL Mobile app? It worked for me on the last few versions of tnt lite but seems to now work on the 2.20 version its saying NFL content can only be viewed by active Verizon users. UIDST4NOATNI6VMBB??

It is not your build....i have not changed from 2.0 and mine is the same now...i thing they keep changing somthing to root out the non verizon users...this has happened to me before
mine works fine... no issues here, i woulldnt try to use your non verizon phone tether for it

Yeah it worked fine with all the other builds and I was tethered to my Verizon Droid Incredable and it wouldn't load. It worked on my wifi also. Weird...

Just tried it at home with wifi... no go. got the same UID error. I guess we will have to wait for an other version that gets around the verizon block

This topic is for development of the Wifi apk for the vibrant. Please DO NOT discuss what wifi means to you or how excited you are about it. I am posting this in hopes that a developer can make this work.
Only comment here if you can contribute and make this work. (what i have provided is the extent of my knowledge)
The apk installs, loads, but will not connect. It gets stuck on 'enabling' and shreads the battery trying.
Perhaps the servers are just not up yet since this is so new..
UPDATE: According to TMo News, T-mobile has stated that they do not support wifi calling yet... so hopefully this app not working is just a result of no server support yet..

Took a look at it and so far its either missing a VPN module or its pointing at settings that we dont have. Right now its looping trying to connect to localhost.
This does ADB install fine, but it doesnt connect if you disable it and try to re-enable it.
Side effect, it was constantly looping trying to connect the service and wasnt very happy about uninstalling when I tried, wouldnt recommend anyone install it unless they have the settings or an idea where we can grab them from
Soon as I get the OTA ill scour for the settings. Soon as I have any updates to it ill tweet/post

You can still make calls and it will say its working but if you turn it off and back on, itll eternally sit at attempting to make connection.

HTC is better about source code, maybe well get lucky and have that released quick and can patch that in *pokes JAC just in case*
It's using all of my CPU.
Interesting that it works after being pushed initially. Is there a way to freeze it in that state, without restarting it?

The app he is using is called SystemPanel. It's very useful.
I suggest removing this app in the mean time. Its a CPU hog and 50% of my battery use.

According to TMO News, the wifi calling is not supported yet as stated by T-Mobile.
“Wi-Fi Calling and tethering Wi-Fi sharing are not currently supported on the T-Mobile G2. T-Mobile knows these features are important to consumers and we’re working to deliver them to G2 users in the future. We have nothing further to announce at this time.”

Something tells me TMo is going to wait, either for the release of the MyTouch HD or they'll release it on a bunch of phones all at once as a way to boost sales before Christmas.

The reason why this app isn't working is because you need a Wifi calling plan which tmobile is rolling out soon and it requires a data plan of 19.99 or higher which pretty much everyone has because the 200 mb plan has not rolled out yet.

Thanks. So it looks like both now the G2 and myTouch 4G are up and running with wifi calling. They both have in common that they are running 2.2. So am I to assume that the apk app on both of them is the same and that it will also run on the Vibrant once it gets the 2.2 update?

Same method as the O3D - superoneclick using pneuter. Gingerbreak is a no go.
Now that the Thrill is "Official", can we either add it to the Optimus 3D section title, or make a new one for it? I really would like to see one for itself, but at a minimum as part of the Optimus 3D section. I would really like to see some development start off soon.

You need to load a custom ROM built from a different carrier that doesn't have that authentication.
I used to have it on my Samsung Captivate and Samsung Infuse, now I'll just wait for the dev community to jump on this phone. I would do it myself but I don't have the time.

You need to be rooted, but you need more than that. You need an app like PDAnet or wifi tether. Even if you're rooted the stock tether function is the stock tether function. You'll have to grab wifi tether from a site like 4shared since it's blocked by ATT on the market.

I downloaded the WiFi tether version3.1 beta6. it runs on the phone but Android Tether SSID doesn't show up on my laptop. never had any problems with my Tilt2 tethering before.
Download "any cut" from the store and make a shortcut to "connectivity test" launch it and uncheck "entitlement" native ATT Wifi share will work. you have to redo this everytime you boot, hence the shortcut.
They finally updated it to work on our gtabs. V1.02 works great on mine running mountan laurel

Maybe its my VEGAn TAB GE 7.0. Some things shows up as Not Compatible and doesnt have the download. But i usually find it on the net somewhere. Cept for my Spades Free by AI Factory. No where to be found.

Device Not Compatible can usually be fixed with a build.prop change. Try setting device to olympus in build.prop

Any way you can get the apk? Its a free game. I just can't see the download cause of the 7.0.
Although it works I'm not impressed with the animations. Also is anyone else having an issue with touch response? I get sacked alot because of that

It's on sale, but not free. BTW- It dials home for a license on the first run, so even if you got the *.apk you would not be able to run it.

Weird...I have a wifi-only but it's recognized as a Verizon in the market because I'm running a Tiamat rom, so it's available to me. I don't think it's cause you don't have a data plan.

I am also running a WiFi-only Xoom running Tiamat and I was able to install it but it seems the data connection may be to a Verizon server. It was never able to load any map data or any other information. So you may just need a Verizon plan. I will keep trying but no luck so far.
I can see it in the market from my xoom, but can't download it...I get a "this item is not available on your carrier" message.

I second this. Says it's incompatible with my Asus Transformer also.
Actually I don't know what just happend, after I clicked the link in op, I was send to market and it started downloading. My rom is EOS nightly build v.70, i've attached two pics, first says "this item isn't available in your country or by your carrier", 2nd pic shows the app running.
I live in Denmark without dataplan, my xoom is wifi. First time I experience this behavior, the install dialog popped up in my browser, not in market.

How did you get it working? I tried it multiple times with no luck. When I click "apply" nothing happens. I have the same setup as you, and I'm using the beta version of messages app.

I had to try a few times before I got it to work. Make sure your on the newest messages beta. You have to be in the newest version.

Try Updating Message in Play Store. I did everything as well and nothing happened. I checked the Play Store to see if it would give me a new 'beta' version to update and there was! Updated and opened Messages and got the new toys.
RCS is live in the USA! Confirmed working on Global version of OnePlus 7 Pro GM1917, OxygenOS 10.0.1.GM21AA on the TMobile Network.

Glad it's working for you. Got it working on my wife's Moto G7 for about a half hour. Then it stopped working. Can't get it to work at all now.
So mine is working but how do u know it's really working? Does it work with iPhone users?

I got it working here as well. It didn't work the first few times though. Had to uninstall messages, reinstall, then follow the instructions again.

It does not it only works with users that have RCS enabled.
I completely forgot about RCS, turns out all I need to do was turn it on.
Hope to fine out one day what exactly is the big deal.

Edit: International 7 Pro on T-Mobile, testing with an S10+ on Sprint, RCS messages are in a darker shade of blue in both light and dark theme, the arrow to send a message doesn't show "MMS/SMS" under it, and the text in the message window displays "Chat message" instead of "Text message".
