Flash as usual. Just make sure you use the correct pit if pit for jpu (512) is the same as jpo you dont need pit.

I didnt use pit to install jpu

Hi, i had one piece i9000 and flashed it with 2.1 version I9000JPJG. After this i got blue circle and no network. So, i fullflashed it with 2.2.1 I9000XXJPU and i got my network back. Just wondering after this can i flash 2.2 I9000JPJPG on this phone to get arabic language? Thanks.
Yes You Can
Odin. Repartition your phone with the pit compatible with 2.1 ROM,, and then update from there. Did the same yesterday myself. It's a bit tricky. So make sure your 3 Button Recovery is working.

Sorry i dont understand...should i first just flash my phone with 512 pit and repartition ticked, then flash I9000JPJPG as pda since it is just one file and not tick repartition?
I want to downgrade from 2.2.1 I9000XXJPU stock firmware to 2.1 I9000JPJG8 stock firmware. Can someone please explain how to do that?

[Q] Which pit file (stupid question)

Hi guys, im flashing on my phone XWJS5 firmware and i want know if i'ts better to use 803.pit o 512.pit? I'm on JPY with lag on darky's rom 9.0.2 and i wanna do a clean flash.
samfirmwares says to use 803.pit. However, I've seen many people saying that you should use 512.pit. Also, I've read that using 803 on a ROM that has bootloader is risky.
Well, I took the risk and flashed JS5 with 803 and phone is running superb.
It entered recovery right after though, saying that /data was missing but a factory reset and wipe data/cache has fixed it.
Have a backup of everything before flashing any new ROM. Better safe than sorry

You get less problem with pit 512 or 513.
I'm using pit 513 now, but I use pit 512 almost all the time.
**DamianGTO Ultimate kernel.1200MHZ. 350MB Ram. 600HZ. all ext2. Steam Rom. Js5**
u should use 512 pit

Always use the 512 pit file. Less things can go wrong

[Q] Odin PIT mapping failed

Im trying to install the speedmod kernel for MIUI via ODIN and it keeps failing at get PIT for mapping?! Never had this problem when flashing a kernel before.
Im on JPY firmware using JPU for partition and PIT.
Someone help please :/
Have you made sure 're-partition' is UNchecked in odin ?
and you have not loaded a PIT file have you ??
could you post a screen shot of what odin looks like before you press start ?

i9000 to factory stock

my friends galS is bootlooped. i would like to odin it back to either a rooted stock rom or rooted gingerbread. i searched on google and ended up in 5 directions
thanks
Download a stock Gingerbread 2.3.4 rom (JVP or JVQ) from either SamFirmware or here
Open Odin, place PDA in PDA, Phone in Phone and CSC in CSC.
For the PIT file, choose a 512 one and remember to click repartition.
Flash away
Then once you've done that you can either flash a Kernel like Speedmod or CF-Root or download JVP/JVQ de-oxed/rooted and flash that through Odin.
thanks alot
