Hey guys, zi have looked all over and can't seem to find a fix for this issue. My rooted Nook works fine with the exception of the Google Calendar app. There is a big white box along the top when in day or week view. This box makes it hard to see the dates i'm selecting. Dealers es anyone know of a fix for this?
Same problem here. Its really annoying.

Yep, I have that as well.
Has anyone figured this one out or are we the only 4 people on the planet having this issue.
The white box blocks out the top of the calendar and makes it impossible to see the dates
I have the same issue.

I just use the agenda view and it goes away
Here's the fix I've seen mentioned multiple times, involves changing a png to a transparent image:

Should of just bought it back then. Anyways if anyone knows of it or a different similar app that uses light sensor info would greatly be appreciated thanks!

I just downloaded that and it seems to work well. One of the default settings disables it in landscape mode, which might be the problem you guys are having. Either deselect that option or try it in portrait mode to see if that works.
I'd still like to find something closer to what is described in the OP. It would be kind of useful to have it just turn on and off when I open and close my case.
Aite I got it to work upon closing sweet now if i can just find one that "aweken" my Xoom upon opening case....

I think you might be talking about Killswitch. It was developed by an xda dev. I tried to use it with my 7 inch tab, but had fcs. However he was very helpful. I haven't tried it with the Xoom, but I think I'll look it up.

I was able to install it yesterday from the link I posted. The apk is there under the market link and video. I decided against using it, but you can give it a try.

Hello. I'm using ARHD 10.3. When I use the app ultimate guitar it zooms out so much that it looks like the app recognizes this phone as a tablet. It also happens with a few other apps.I've attached a screenshot. Anyone else experiencing this.

1. Why do you open a thread for this? Next time ask in the arhd thread.
2. I dont have this issue. Did you mess with the screen density?

Are you sure this is ARHD specific?
If not my guess is the app is written in something like jQuery mobile (not native) and it sets layout depending on resolution rather than device-width and I'd report a bug.
I don't think its ARHD specific. World of Goo, Angry Birds, and Connectbot all load in what appears tablet mode on my One, Connectbot in particular comes in with text about two millimeters high. It looks like the text is coming in at a set pixel height and because of the One's pixel density the text is too small to be readable.
Hello there, Sorry for my bad English, I am not native speaker. I have searching around xda forums in order to find something to change the size of our pop windows. For instance, I was working with my tablet, and tried to used calculator but It was so big that I wasnt able to see the numbers. So I was wondering if there is anyway to change the size. I installed the ThunderRom, and also I am using the multiwindow hack that is around here, but, anything has work.
If anybody has the same problem. Here is the solution.
