Anyone here tried CooTek,
coming from winmo, I really missed it a lot, and was glad they have it for my droid!
I think people should really give it a shot, its better than other keyboards
Just tried it and one of the worst keyboards for android lol

I've searched around, but I haven't been able to find an apk for the stock gingerbread keyboard. I way prefer it to that buggy as **** MOTOBLUR one and the clones on the market just don't seem the same. Anybody have it?

What do you find wrong with the MOTOBLUR one? I've actually been using it since swiftkey X is very buggy on this phone.
It ghosts. Which really sucks, because I just came from an OG Droid that ghosted like no other. I don't know, it might be an isolated problem but I can't handle it so right now I'm using a Gingerbread clone.

I've also noticed this on occasion. Every once in a while there's some input lag.
I agree! I would like to find the stock gingerbread APK as well if anyone has it.
Good news everyone!

Do you think it would be worth it to buy the paid app or people wont be releasing their Roms through it.
I never been a big fan of cm6 or 7 roms and that's what I always see on there

I've never been a big fan of ROM Manager. It's a good skill to learn how to do things through CWM and navigate through it. I've heard of some weird stuff happening when flashing through ROM Manager too. If you do it through CWM you know exactly what you are installing and it's much easier to troubleshoot what you did wrong if something ends up not right.
Yeah
I always been big on sense which is why I moved away from the galaxy line

Thanks iquit040 for posting this link to a compatible apk for the AOSP Keyboard - it works great

Believe there is one in the market if I find it I'll post link to it.

I've seen it in Vipers ROM, but don't know if anyone has a flashable zip of just the keyboard? I've flashed other AOSP keyboards for other devices, but I am not sure if they scale out appropriately? Will one made for the DNA work?
Thanks!

can't post links due to lack of posts... ugh... just add the typical www before the period
Anytime. I have been on the xda boards since the first android phones came out. Have been a rooter/flasher forever. Gotta get some more posts in so I can finally post in the Development sections lol. I have had everything evo that sprint has pushed out and I have to say by far this is my favorite one. I am going to learn to use the kitchen just because of this phone!

Any one using one of the vanilla ROMs? Went from a gnex to the one and kinda miss vanilla android a little. Love being able to switch as and when but wondered if any one is using a vanilla ROM and if its stable etc.
cheers
