is a serius problem?

hi ! i am a new touch diamond owner! i have a problem and i woud like you to help me if you want!
my rom is 1.37 and my menu is very slow. the navigator and the camera do not work right!
i tried to update to rom 1.93 but the status bar stuck on 0%!!!so i didn't manage to update it!
what i have to do?
can you tell me as simple as you can becouse i am not a specialist!! thanks!!!!
P.S.: is there any change to make a serius problem to my diamond??

Did you install the hardSPL first? If not then it's easy to get a bad flash. You can also try a cooked ROM, it should speed things up a bit.

Try CTs v5 rom, its quite light and should help you out. When you flash unplug all other USB devices you might have and do a reboot.

oh man.. have you ever read the forum???? Read the stickies from the Diamond ROM thread... man... just one post... impressive.

you need to read before you flash....don't jump in head first and think it will be ok....9 times out off 10...IT WON'T!
who evers rom you flashed, they should have info with that you need to flash there rom with.
you need to start reading.....all you answers are here if you just look
this topic is covered 100's of times already.

How do I get my HD goes Faster?

I just bought a HTC Diamond 4GB this is GSM version , but Is preaty slow , I installed a few things to get it more faster.
But my question is , What can I do to have my htc diamond fast ? ,
My HTC ROM is 1.93.442.4 WWE
Radio : 1.00.25.08
HTC Diamond P3700
Changing the ROM ? with a modified one ? How to change the rom ?

Make some tweaks on registry or install a new rom.
You are in the correct place to learn how to change the rom, and is simple.
But b4 you start read several forums about how to do it or you will get your diamond bricked.
Good luck and use "SEARCH" function of this forum. Is the best tool you will ever get.

I installed a Rom ( 23,506 Rom Calkulin's Diamond ROM v4.2 ) and phone froze .... click on the Power button on and remain frozen and the display shows the Touch Diamond and not wake-up is frozen .Hellp me pleaseeee !!!

just flash another rom....and wait for it to finish loading for the first time....(it usually takes longer)

Some questions

hi guys out there
i'm new to this forum and I like it a lot,
some many files and informations that are useful...
I already have touchflo 3d on my xperia, but now I'd like to flash a new rom.
Now my questions
1) when I do hard spl, do i have to connect the phone in tri.color screen or normal
2) how do i exit the tri color screen, did that by doing soft reset, any other possibility ??
3) Which 6.5 sense rom ??? I'm german so i'd liked to have a fast and stable rom which should be in german . I only would use a english rom if the difference is big
4)Equal which radio I have or do I have to upgrade it too
5) can i use all the programmes i downloaded so far for my xperia with stock rom??

1. follow instructions provided with hard spl program.
2. soft reset the phone or take out the battery.
3. depends on what you want in the rom, every rom has its pros and cons you need to experiment to find the one you like. Not everyone does german language rom, there is no real difference except language and what is included. Most roms are very similiar as chefs use standard packages with their own tweaks.
4. you should keep the radio that comes with the stock rom if it works in your part of the country without problems.
5. yes, you can use all the programs you have downloaded, depending on the rom you may have to download a framework program to get the best usage out of your program.

could someone compare them and tell me whether xkans rom is as fast as x826 rom (i read that its one of the fastest and bugless roms)

It's difficult to help as you didn't mention current and new ROM versions...
Maybe a task29 will help (search the forum for the corresponding thread).

I finally got it working agaun over usb, so I'm happy again.
But thx for trying to help me...

i made a other topic at the android os forum about my htc touch pro2.
i have a android on it. its not great it get stuck from time to time (schreen wil stay black if i try to unluck) so i want to give my windowsmobile os a other change are there good windows os for my phone. if so how can i instal it?

Hi Koetjeboe91,
just use Task 29 to clear your device if you used the NAND version and then download and install the latest ROM version from the htc homepage (e.g. European ROM) or if you want to use another rom use the provided flasher. It is that easy.
