Does anyone know if this will be something that can or will be achieved?
Sadly I used my HD2 to jailbreak my PS3 months ago then ended up upgrading to the HD7. I backed up all my games to my PS3 and now I'll never be able to play them again

Seriously doubt it at the moment as we have yet to "crack" the HD 7 or even WP7 for that matter and you would need full file control and whatnot to do what your after, that's why you could do it with the HD2 as that was fully cracked open.

Just released today for purchase and whos getting one. I've been looking at the Zune 2 or one of the archos devices 605 or 505. Zune seems to be more usuable in the gym vs the archos. My phone does everything the Zune does but the battery life doesnt really compare and when im out i really dont need a dead phone on my hands. Looked at the IPOD Touch but im as against apple as Bill is. So its out...any opinions?
ehh the Zune1 was pretty sad I am not trying for the second Zune lol I will just stick with my dusty first Zune I dont use.
Did the new firmware update do anything for your old zune. Im actually kicking around the idea of getting an old zune for dirt cheap and just updating it.

Its acutally just sitting on the floor getting dusty, I havent even done that. It looks like it just addresses small issues but I might as well try it out.
Dont buy zune, in my opinion they arent worth it and the older generation Zune are huge. The best value digital audio player got to be Ipod classic 80GB. For a decent price, you get a 80GB player that is slim and elegant.
i'd NEVER buy another ipod. Gets old having to erase it and start over every time you go from one computer to another. I think im gonn go with the arcos. Since i wont be using it in the gym more of a traveling device. Or when i want to watch my cartoons that i record on the DVR. Cant decide between the 405 and 605...
OK, WOW I am going to have to eat my words. I did the update and the software is 1000000000% better and the menus are smooth and all around great in the zune. I will be keeping my old school Zune!
Anyone else notice that we can't get any EA games on the market with our phones? I have seen people claim to play games like Need for Speed shift on Galaxy phones. Anyone know how to actually buy the game? I can't believe it is soo hard to find a way to spend my money.
Just bought NFS on sale for $.99 and had no problem.
Yeah it looks like if you are using the standard rom or Odin you can't see NFS. I just went from Odin to Assonance and now I can see the game and bought it. I just couldn't do it earlier because I didn't have a USB cable and I wanted to buy the game before the sale was over.
I'm on a stock ROM.
I bought Sims3 (don't hate) but when I launch and go to download, I get an unsupported device error. I am on an I9000 ROM.
I bought sims 3 and nfs last night with no problems, using assonance 5.0 or what ever it's called lol

After successfully getting a Wiimote to hook up to my Nook and emulators, I decided to order a classic controller so I could play SNES/PSX/N64 games. In a bought of cheapskatedness, I ordered a bootleg classic controller so I could save a whopping $5. One of those ones not officially branded by Nintendo and sold direct from the back of a van in Hong Kong. Apparently those don't work.
Wiicontroller IME doesn't recognize its device id. And if I go to map buttons in my emulators, no keypresses are registered. So this weekend I'll go to Wal-Mart and spend another $20 to buy a real one.
Moral of story: Buy officially licensed Nintendo products!
I want to get some Datel brand controllers up in this rig! Speaking of official licensed ninty products, I wonder if that slim logitech keyboard would work nicely, iirc its a perfect size...

Any BT keyboard is going to [presumably] be fine as a keyboard. The problem I have with this non-Nintendo controller is that the Wiimote IME doesn't recognize the device ID of the attachment, so it doesn't know how to interpret the signals coming from it (even though it might be exactly the same as an official CC). You might have the same problem with the Datel controllers, now that I think about it.
my main problem is that i can get wiimotes to pair, but i cant get any emulators or anything to use it

You are making sure to Select the Wiimote controller IME as the main keyboard, and also making sure to map the keys inside the emulators right?
Speaking of the Datel wireless classic controllers, does anyone know where to get one of these? I was searching in vain a few days ago, and I'd love to snatch one of those bad boys up.
Ive only seen it available on the codejunkies site, dunno if its really available though...

I had a chance to get the HD7 when it just came out, however I opted for the HD2 because I'm used to the following...
1) Having my text messages read out loud.
2) It acts like a regular USB device
3) Bought a slingbox app for it
4) Skype works well with it
5) I use the Remote Desktop Connection
I know the Mango update came out yesterday for the HD7, does anyone know if the ones I posted above will work on the HD7. I'm really sad that I lost my HD2, but Asurion doesn't have it anymore. Sigh. I guess it's time to upgrade my phone anyway since Windows Mobile is dead. Anyone wanna help convince me that it's for the best? Thank you in advance.
lol, i'm in the same situation but my phone fell in the toilet. thank god for snug plastic phone covers or phone really would have been ****ted. i'm trying to figure out if i still want to complete my claim or not. but i'm enjoying this miui droid rom too much on my hd2.
Oh no, I guess it doesn't support WiFi tethering either....sigh...
Here is another cheap fake PS3 controller working with my Nexus 7 paired with Sixaxis app.
XDA isn't allowing me to post outside links, but search ebay for: Bluetooth Wireless Controller for Sony PS3 Playstation 3 Blue Free Shipping
Everything seems to be fully functional so far. I believe any fake controller that looks like this one, should work fine.
Note. Seems like seller updated the listing. I bought it for $13.14, now it is $63.14, Nevertheless, this particular controller seems to work fine with Sixaxis app.
Mode no. CECHZC2U
WIRELESS CONTROLLER
MADE IN CHINA

I do not have PS3, so I cant really check it. But I am assuming it will work fine. I dont think it has DUALSHOCK built in, then again not able to confirm it (i could disassemble it tho..)
Easy way to tell is. The DS3 is MUCH heavier than the Sixaxis. I also assume there will be a good amount of Old Sixaxis controllers still availible and will be cheap since people want the DS3 instead.

True, this one is really light.
Don't expect fake PS3 controllers to work for very long. In the long run, you're better off just spending the $50.

I think you are right. I got this controller so I could try it, before I spend $50 on a controller that I might end up not using.
And besides, I will wait when PS4 starts selling and expect PS3 controllers and consoles go down in price.
Hmm, instead of buying it you could have just borrowed one from a friend (if such an option was available)
Sorry I'm just a big gamer, and I've gone through a bunch of PS3 controllers. There are so many fake ones out there close to the price of the originals that it's frightening, and it's getting harder and harder to tell the difference.. though anyone with experience can tell just by picking one up.
The PS4 still has another year or so to be released.

Yeah, I could borrow one, but they wanna play their games too. So, when this one quits working, I will pick up one from Best Buy or Walmart. I would say, they carry authentic controllers.
As far as PS4 I think it will be available for the holidays, which is 6-7 month. Not so far away
I sure hope so, I can't wait for the new Killzone. I must have spent 900+ hours on Killzone 2..

I would wait a little before I get the new PS4. I'm sure prices are gonna be outrageous. Sure you cant make core gamers wait for a new toy tho.
cool. thanks man i was wondering if this would work. and indeed it does!
I'm not sure how long its going to hold up. I have been slashing some monsters on Dark Meadow, going strong so far!
