Camera initialization error - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys
I'm getting this error "camera initialization error, you can modify the resolution under this mode and then restart your phone to try again" when trying to open camera360 and vignette. my stock camera app works fine.
i'm using darky's 8.0 Rom and was able to open them earlier. I've deleted some stock apps like the messaging and home launcher apps and replaced them with GO SMS and ADW launcher.
did the uninstallation of stock apps cause the camera apps to stop working? if so, please let me know how to install them back again.

any help? i was able to open them without changing any settings, then suddenly after rebooting the phone, both apps fail, but the stock camera works fine!
"camera initialization error, you can modify the resolution under this mode and then restart your phone to try again"
any clues please?

Stupid Error popping - phone works tho. HELP

I had cyanogen 4.1.9999 and was having fun,
I discovered that Chomp sms under "tools" settings had a "install voice data," so that it can read your sms. I wanted to see how the phone read the sms messages, so I decided to install "voice data/speech" from the Market.
Now every 5 or so seconds I get an error that says "The application Touch Input (process com.htc.android.htcime) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
I think it was the installment of that application "speech" because I never got that error before.
I tried to remove it by going to tools/apps.. and market but uninstall button is disabled.
I upgraded to cyanongen 4.2.2 to try to fix the problem, but it still comes up.
How can I fix it? it is EXTREMELY ANNOYINGc

i think i found the thread to my question... will try it now
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=687578
i have already sorted out my problem by trying out almost all combinations to replicate the problem. just thot if anyone has the same problem, below is my solution
for me... it is nothing to do with the link abv. my conclusion is that, whenever i use "my backup pro" with root access mode, it will somehow mess up the vending.apk which crashes the mkt app. after many tries, i found that if i use my backup pro, it is a must for me not to use "grant root access" for my backup pro then everything will be fine...

[Q] Allways force close.

I'm having a problem with the broodrom RC2 rom. It have the GOLauncher installed in the rom so I deleted it with titanium backup and now sometimes this message appears " app com.gau.go.launcherex (proceso android.process.acore) have been suspended unexpectedly " Force close.
Anyone knows how to fix it?
I know it would be better asking in the rom post, but I don't have the 10 post needed to do that .
Install go Launcher, then another launcher, make the other launcher default then uninstall go Launcher properly. Don't just use titanium backup

[Q] Problems installing 3rd party apps [Solved]

This may seem like a ridiculous question at first glance but I can't work it out.
I have an international I9305, stock 4.1.2 Rom and no root with over 10Gb storage spare.
For some reason I'm randomly unable to install 3rd party apks. I've checked the box to allow installation from unknown sources. Just now I've downloaded the AirDroid2 beta apk, went into ES file manager, clicked the apk file but can't click install. I get the permissions list and the option to cancel but the install button is greyed out. The cancel button works fine. If I wait a few hours and try again apps will install without issue.
I tried installing another apk that previously installed without issue but that won't either.
Installing apps from the play store work as normal
Reboot didn't solve it.
So: Has anyone else come across this issue? Any idea how to work around it in future?
Edit: Worked it out. Turns out the app Screen Filter stops you installing third party apps when active. Never even considered it would have made a difference.

Unfortunately Messaging has stopped! Please help

Hello there,
I am on Moto G 2014 Stock Android 5.0.2 (Rooted + Xposed).
Accidentally, i deleted BadgeProvider.apk and the default messaging app is corrupted.
I am able to to open the default messaging app, but when i try to open any message, it gives me error:- "Unfortunately Messaging has Stopped"
I have also tried third party messaging app, nothing worked.
Can someone please provide a titanium backup file for BadgeProvider.apk? Any help would be really appreciated.
