Hey guys, Im stuck in an endless bootloop. I am running eclair 1.1 and tried the 1.1ghz kernel. Worked ok for about :30 min then rebooted and got stuck in a boot loop. I flashed the stock kernel back, clearing bot caches and am still stuck in a boot loop. I tried restoring my CWM backup and get stuck in a boot loop.???
Anyway to get out of this??
Thx
Looks like your BootCnt file might be damaged.. This could help..

Good luck!
Gonna give it a shot.
Thanks for the quick response!
Any idea why this file would get corrupt? Thx

NM i fixed it.. i flashed an eclair rom initially and that didnt wanna work.. so a froyo rom fixed it...
===============================
so i just flashed my first rom a few days ago and it went well.. now im stuck in a boot loop and cannot get into recovery, but can get to download mode..
steps i took to frustrate myself with this problem
flashed speedmod k12s kernel from base stock froyo
wiped everything and installed a cooked rom from docs kitchen and it worked fine
flashed a few but the last one i made i forgot to select a launcher so i was just staring at a black screen.. so i couldnt mount usb
for some reason i cant access my internal sd from CW recovery menu which i had no idea why so i flashed JH2 eclair to get the launcher using ODIN
that just sent the phone into a loop now and i cant even access the recovery menu.. only download mode..
i tried to reflash speedmod kernel and still the same flashing with no recovery menu available..
are there any settings i should use with odin that im missing? i really have no clue what else to do.. thanks guys in advance
Could I get some help please? I got sick and tired of the battery issue I was having I was going to go back to stock and try and reload everything...well, I used the installed stock factory reset, it rebooted into cwm. so I installed the cubed nandroid stock rom....well, now it reboots into cwm every boot...tried reinstalling a couple times now and still no avail....
Could anyone help me getting a boot loaded? thanks.
Edit.....CRAP! Fixed! I came across the cubed zip file that fixed it....I guess I didn't look before I leaped!
Hello I am on Check Rom v3 w/ Abyss Kernal v3 and I'm trying to change my system sounds, like unlock and lock.
I tried changing them, but my phone went into a boot loop. How do I fix this situation? I tried setting the correct permissions.
Any ideas? I eventually had to completely reflash rom, which wipes everything.
Ok an update on the situation, after I installed checkromv3 again and it wiped everything, I tried it again and know it works. So weird. I think it had something to do with the cache or something, which I tried to clear.
ok back to boot loops again after i did a nandroid backup. could anyone help?
Boot loop on i9001, I tried everything but I guess not the right thing yet. I had CM11 installed but wanted to downgrade to Stock Rom gingerbread 2.3.6. I couldn't find any guides in that regard so I went on and with ODIN I flashed the phone to the stock rom, now it boots up forever, then I tried a boot loader fix, flashed that too, nothing. Re-flashed other stock roms, nothing.
It's stuck on a loop boot.
Can you please let me know what I could try? :crying:
Ok, try to re flash cm11 by following the same steps you did the first time you flashed it. Then find a guide to downgrade it to gingercake. Let me know.
Loop boot solved i9001
thanks you just gave me the idea of going to recovery mode and wipe all data and partition. After rebooting, 2.3.6 was there waiting for me.
Thanks me
