Boot loop on i9001, I tried everything but I guess not the right thing yet. I had CM11 installed but wanted to downgrade to Stock Rom gingerbread 2.3.6. I couldn't find any guides in that regard so I went on and with ODIN I flashed the phone to the stock rom, now it boots up forever, then I tried a boot loader fix, flashed that too, nothing. Re-flashed other stock roms, nothing.
It's stuck on a loop boot.
Can you please let me know what I could try? :crying:
Ok, try to re flash cm11 by following the same steps you did the first time you flashed it. Then find a guide to downgrade it to gingercake. Let me know.
Loop boot solved i9001
thanks you just gave me the idea of going to recovery mode and wipe all data and partition. After rebooting, 2.3.6 was there waiting for me.
Thanks me

Hello.
I wanted to flash the new KL7 and I did the normal procedure with CWM. I had a KL3 stock (no custom kernel) and a KJ4 before.
After the procedure the Note started to boot continuously in loop. After that I tried to flash again with Odin in download mode but the phone is goin' on again in loop after reboot.
I tried then this procedure as in http://bit.ly/sKDXde but nothing again. Always in loop. I am not a developer and I am starting to worry a lot.
Is there anybody here able to help me?
Thanks to all.
Did you try to do a factory reset in the recovery (VolUp+Home+Power) ?
It solved my bootloop issue when I moved from KL3 to KL7!
well man. I tried and it did not work. Now after your msg I tried again and at the third attempt it worked again...I don't know what to say...never had these problems with windows mobile 6 (even if it sucks now compared to the new OS) and I flashed a LOT!
Thanks anyway.
Hello guys,
I have a very biug problem now.
I was with TeamICSSGS and I decided to move from it to Slim ICS.
But because I wanted to be fast I didin't read correctly and I didin't flashed the correct thing.
I flashed the I9000 Essentials and not the base which made the phone bootloop with the touch recovery.
Then I did a factory/data wipe and after the reboot there was no recovery and only bootloop.
Then I decided to flash a gingebread bootloader in the panic, don't know why I falshed it and it bringed me CWM Recovery of which I installed several ROM's with fail because they just stop installing when reac the kernel installation.
Then I downloaded http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1685040 and flashed it, but with some recovery errors and bootloop again.
Can someone help me, please.
EDIT: I did that http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=657 and it worked.
Hi all, this is my first time posting so sorry for asking for help. I am really struggling flashing my i9001 to jelly bean. I have read loads of tutorials but the same thing keeps happening.
I have put clockwork recovery mod on now about 5 times using odin but it always get stuck in the boot loop once it is flashed back to recovery mode.
Then each time it does that i need to reflash back to stock rom and everything is fine again. Anyone any clues to what i am doing wrong.
Edit
Just thought id add that the clockwork mod installs fine and it will boot to stock rom after the initial flash, its only once ive accessed the recovery tool menu it gets stuck in the loop until i reflash back to stock rom
You're just experiencing a simple boot loop. Install CWM again and if you have the boot loop again just follow these instructions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24831012&postcount=1330
That should take care of the bootloop and after that you can move on to JB easily
Hey!
I've flashed kernel and firmware on my Note successfully several times, but now I encountered a problem:
I'm on Asylum_CM10.1_20130311_n7000 ROM and was using Asylum_CM10.1_20130311_n7000 kernel, all working fine.
Then I flashed a new kernel, HydraCoreNirvana Kernel for Galaxy Note GT-N7000. After this I've been in hell, every time I try to start/boot the phone, it jams on the Asylum startup animation. I tried both from the SD and when the phone wouldn't start, via Odin. Then I tried flashing back to the working kernel above, no help. Now I'm stuck with two non-working kernels and a useless phone. I hope I haven't ruined it already...
I was flashing with the instructions @ rootgalaxynote. com
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Please, I'm drunk and freaking out with this phone (I know 1st world problems).
Do a wipe data in recovery (if u can go to) or ODIN. Then try to see if the phone boots, if it doesn't you can do a clean install of Asylum ROM again. If nothing works(!) Go back to flash a stock ROM via ODIN and then use Philz kernel to re-root.

Tried all that (went straight to stock). No help, I guess somethings gone wrong with the boot sequence, I flashed Philz kernel and now it loops on the samsung animation. Before, it sometimes showed "Android is upgrading 1/83 (or something similar), the number would go up a while, then the start-up animation again and all over again from 1/83. It always seems to jam on the ****ing animation... Gonna jump off the roof.

I got the phone working again. Did a factory reset from recovery and after that the phone started up. After that installed the HydraCoreNirvana Kernel again and now it works just fine. Thanks very much for the help!
I had a russian stock 4.1.3 firmware on my i9070 with standard samsung recovery and it was kinda buggy(Google Play wouldn't work) and I decided to flash TWRP (yes, I now realize it couldn't have worked since it is for gingerbread) and I got stuck in boot screen with no recovery. The only solution I could think of is to flash stock JB again, so I downloaded stock Romania(Cosmote) Firmware and tried to flash it with both Odin v1.87(with and without pit file) and v3.07 and Odin gave me a PASS each time, but I am still stuck in boot screen with no recovery.
Clearly I am doing something wrong, and it probably is something I should have read somewhere, but there are so many details that I don't know where to start looking...
Later Edit:
It finally booted! Sorry for the new thread.
I don't know why it wasn't working with the Romanian firmware but I used the Greece one and it works fine.
Hi, my friend is facing same problem. Its showing PASS always.
But, its not booting to custom recovery.
It goes to samsung recovey and says "Downloading"
How you got it cleared? Do u need to wait at that previous screen?

If you are flashing custom recovery, but you still have stock Samsung recovery, you are clearly doing something wrong.
When I flashed custom recovery, I had JellyBean Android installed and the recovery was made to work with Gingerbread, so it wouldn't boot recovery at all.
Since you are still getting the standard Samsung recovery, you haven't flashed the custom recovery correctly.
I suggest you retrace your steps and find some tutorial that could help you with your problem HERE.
When I couldn't access recovery, I just flashed stock JellyBean again with Odin.
