[Q] Rooted 1.0.1 to Rooted 1.1

Probably a dumb question, but I've looked and looked on the threads and haven't found the answer. I have an Auto-nootered NC 1.01. I have been avoiding the auto update to 1.1 like the plague (until the AN for 1.1 was ready ). Now that it's here, what do I need to do before running AN 3? Can I head to B&N and force the update to 1.1 - then run AN 3?
Do I have to fall back to 1.0, go to 1.01, then to 1.1, then AN3?
One other quickie - if I use Astro to back up all my glorious apps now, can I just save that micro SD and restore them from that after I reroot using AN3 and reinstall Astro? Thank you!!!

You need to look more carefully, then. There are tons of posts about this. You can us AN 3 if you are already on 1.1. so you can let your device update or you can update it manually. Then you can use AN 3. Shouldn't need to fall back to 1.0 or 1.0.1. Don't know about Astro. Don't use it.

I prefer using the clockwork/Rom download way of getting to rooted 1.1.0
It was very simple and I don't believe my device needed to reinstall anything.

How can do this? I want to get clockwork recovery but the I instructions say 1.0.1 only. Is there an image for zip file for the 1.0.1? Thanks

It is avalible from B&N website. I did it and adds some thing that are nice.

I had to flash back to stock 1.0.1 a few hours ago. Used this link:

Can I put phiremod back on EMMC after 1.2 update?

I didn't see this after searching so I apologize if it's been answered somewhere.
I've reverted my rooted NC back to stock and updated to 1.2. Once it's registered with 1.2 and running for a couple of days, can I use CWM to put phiremod back on without risk of BN downloading 1.2 and messing everything up?

Question about nandroid back up of .886

I permarooted .886, backed it up in nandroid, then installed reblurred V2.0 a few days ago. Today I backed up reblurred, reinstalled stock .886, installed 5.5.893, then 5.6.893. Everything went fine, then nandroided reblurred back again. But I forgot to make a nandroid of the new stock 5.6.893. If I ever need to can I go back to the original .886 backup without detriment?

yes but you will still be on the .893 kernal and radio. so if you went back to the .886 you will have a hybrid with886 softwear and 893 kernal and radio

Thank you for the reply. I'm sure if need be there is a d/l of the 893 system software I could use. I know the one click restore says it can be used on both 886 and 893. Wonder which it's based on?

So i'm currently running a Beta Eclipse ROM from a couple months back based off of .901. I've just been busy and lazy and haven't bothered to update to a newer ROM and unfortunately I'm kind of at a loss as to what's changed over the past couple months. I'm thinking I want to upgrade to the latest version of Eclipse which would be the v3.0 .905 based ROM but I'm not sure which steps to take at this point. Should I revert to stock and update OTA to 905, re-root, and flash the newest ROM? If so what's the best way to go back to stock at this point. If that is not the best route to take could someone point me in the right direction.
Also, I've read into it a little bit but is it worth messing with the leaked ICS builds?
EDIT: Found DroidModderX's tutorials and i'm on the right track. I'm currently FXZ'ing back to .902 stock and will update to .905 from the SD card after.
