**Update** well it wont crash, but its still not optimized for our hardware. :/
WOW 1600!?!
I got a mere 1387.......
why the difference? Im on stock everything if that helps explain it.......
Ok I re-ran it with wiFi on instead of 3G and got 1657. That's more like it.
LOL - I'm now getting 1717, it seems the more I run it the faster it goes........?
I got 1710 on 3g...and 1337 on wifi..!!!

No offense to anyone, but I don't think Quadrant is that great of a benchmarking app

I got the same, but ran neocore and got 55.7, so go figure. FYI, most of these benchmark tests are really designed for the Snapdragons, not the Hummingbird. In actuality, we should be seeing scores similar to or better in Linpack, the 3D scores should be a hell of a lot better in Quadrant. So take these tests with a grain of salt. Back with my Captivate, I mainly used then to make sure Voodoo was working, if the overclock took, etc. But yes, we should be seeing more than 11 fps for sure.
Ah ok, yea i always knew quadrant as meant to be taken with a pinch of salt, but everyone seems to use it as the standard
I got 1394. Everything stock, and on 3G (I didn't realize wifi or 3G mattered).
1394. Good score?

I would say it isn't great. Real world perforamce is what matters but like I said above, these tests aren't measuring the potential of the Hummingbird.

Another example why Quadrant isn't a good benchmarking tool.
No it's not Gingerbread ready. If it was then the spinning planet would get 56 fps stable, just like it does on the Galaxy S.

When i first flashed the rom i got 1200 repeatedly.
Rebooted installed a few ups, updated some and now i just about hit 1100.
yeah i was getting 1250 when i first got it
after about 150 apps including fonts and live wallpapers
i get 1180-1160
Just a reminder that quadrant actually says very little about the performance of your device..
I'm getting 1400 to almost 1600. But I'm also using darky's rom so I don't know if you want to count that or not
1200 with no lagfix, 1500 with voodoo. phone is running sweet at the moment, much better than when it was scoring 2300 on jp7. Have been running it alternating lagfix on and off, cant notice any real difference

Quadrant scores should only really be treated as a bit of fun, a mate of mine with the hd oc his and got 2932, but the phone was unstable and actually ran slower at that speed then it did stock. As I said earlier my phone scores a consistent 1200 without a lagfix and it is definitely running the best it ever has. I had it overclocked to 1.2 before with oclf and it was scoring 2300-2400, the phone seemed fast but not as smooth and stable as what it does now with jpu installed

Simple, just remove or move libGLES_android.so from system/lib/egl to somewhere else from that folder in case if your system gets unstable while working with 3D app/game. Tested with Quadrant Advanced, got 60+ fps on 3D Planet test.
This mod already does that but in a different way: it deletes libGLES_android.so in /system/lib/egl (you can see this in the updater-script). Like many people reported this boosted their 3D quadrant score and increased FPS in some games. Why? Because quadrant and some rare games conflict with PowerVR GPU cards and use software rendering instead. So by disabling it you force them to depend on PowerVR. Hence, more FPS.
My quadrant score on rubix rom :
without tips : 2200
with tips : 2722
the earth turn at 60fps
the adn turn at 42fps
with chainfire3d (instead of 3d app doesn't work):
quadrant score 2532
Deleting/renaming that file also fixes n64oid. Great find.
Sent from my DROID3 using XDA App
seems to work great. i don't do quad scores, but i play this game called trial x. on my og droid the graphics were fine, but on my d3 under the dirt bike was pixilated. removed that file and now more pixels. so it must have done something positive.
I moved the file to my sd card, rebooted opened up trial x and I still get the pixelation under the dirtbike.

Rather then deleting or moving can we just rename it and it still be affective?

im on stock 4.2.1 rooted.
used nexus tool kit to temp boot into TWRP only to flash motley A33 kernel.
left all settings alone.
adjusted CPU speed from 1500 to 1700 and left everything else alone.
with my daily use i can get about 2 days of battery power mainly streaming netflix at night for about 3 hours for super natural.
this bench mark is fairly consistent at 1700, if i drop to 1500 CPU then the score drops back to around 5500.

13329 seems a little weak for overclocked. I was thinking it could be more in the 13500+ area when out of the box you can get 12800+
Quads don't really mean that much overall but I was thinking it could be higher overclocked.

I have not actually rooted. It seems pretty stable to do so I just have not took the plunge yet. I am still kinda testing out what they gave me out of the box. Rooting and supporting the developers by me will happen soon though....
I dont have screenshots here to post, but using Quadrant on my new HTC One, i regularly get scores of 12,000 +.
What the HTC One needs to make it complete is for a modder to make a graduated volume slider that goes up to 11 .... LOL

Don't use ART.

That's a very low score to put it nicely. When I had this phone I usually got scores in the 2500 range. Again, many people frown on bench scores however if your score is way off from where it should be, then something is not right. By way off I'd call 1264 to be that.
