Is it possible to change the status LED, to HDD led while the topaz is connected to PC as Disk drive?
blinking led for read/write could be nice actually
I don't think it could be blinking while read/write. Maybe only while your device is connected.

In my opinion you can do that with NueLED2
When you are at this site then also take a look here: Nue Pocket PC Tools!

No, when i plug ipaq to the power mains, the led light don´t turn on, but when i take off The back cover , the led ligths turns on!
and when i pug the ipaq to the PC, the activeSync don´t recognizes my ipaq.
Thanks for help me.
Ok try to put back the back cover, battery and if you have your cradle, plug your cradle to the powers mains then connect to the PC. Im fairly certain that it should show up as an unrecongised device. If so, then it should be in bootloader mode then try to run the rom upgrade again

thaks for help me once again.
i already done this, but i dont have a Rom for my ipaq!
anybody has one wich can give me?
Did you try running the HP rom updates again? If it is unable to detect the model of the IPAQ then you will need to get a rom image and restore via an SD card. You should beable to find urls for rom images from MobilityToday's forums.
same probleme
i have hw6515 same problem, i think the bootloader area is erased. the only way is a com cable & mtty to write area.

Oh, no... Even worst.
You need the bootloader to response the com port and your mtty, once it gone the only way to bring it back are (1) by JTAG port. (2) reprogram the flash memory.
Your 6515 is good for parts by now, I got a 6515 with broken LCD/case is good for you. ;-)
Cheers,
Hi at all,
i have a problem with a diamond, when i turn on the phone i feel only the vibration of welcome, but the screen remain black and the light of the button too.. now i don't know if it is a physical issue or the phone is only brikked.

You could try to connect the device to pc and use a tool like MyMobiler to see if there's any screen activity.
MyMobiler lets you control your device via your pc. In normal conditions you can see the devices screen on your pc.

What's the bunch of text that shows up with the pc and the triangle and the mobile icon ? I can't read it .
Screen got smashed, no LCD. How do I get all of my data and pics off of the phone? The Android tool kit does not detect the phone when plugged in.
Thanks
Check if it shows up in the device manager when you plug in... maybe its off.

It shows up in device manager. But cannot open the drive from windows explorer. Shows as empty. Android tool kit does not detect it
My English is not good, so I used Google Translate. I have a xperia10iv engineering prototype. I switched its firmware slot to b by mistake. Now it cannot start normally. The specific performance is that the screen cannot be turned on. When it is connected to the computer, the red light is on, which can be recognized. to the device on port 9008. Is there any way to salvage it?I can't get to green light or blue light mode now (long press volume up/minus to connect usb)

I haven't found a way to get into Blu-ray mode yet, but it seems to restart properly, and if I connect to the computer by holding down the volume and power buttons for a while it will disconnect and reconnect after a while
