Tango disconnects as soon as I press the video button.
wasn't there a skype video on the market before? Now I cant find it anywhere? That should solve the problem

Blame Dell. They have not released the camera API so there is no way to make 3rd party video chat software work.

I'm so disappointed to hear that Tango isn't working. A CS rep just told me that it should - one of the reasons I got the Streak was to video call grandkids - they have an ipod. Starting to have second thoughts about this streak!

I also use Yahoo add on, it turn on video chat, but only use back camera...... And I don't know how to use front camera

Its a the Rii mini, a chinese manufactured keyboard. Great little gadget and It works great with my Streak. No problems with connection and all keys are working properly. A lot of functions, great battery live ( up to 700 hours). Dongle is a bluetooth device for pc without such a feature. But be careful to order the bluetooth version, because an alternate keyboard with exactly same looks and name is sold as wireless 2.4 Gh version. In my happiness I almost ordered the wrong one. Otherwise good choice.

Does anyne else have trouble getting the front cam on the streak 7 to work?
I was trying to skype with another streak 7 but neither of our devices will show the front cam, only the back. Should I try & send back for repairs or is there a fix somewhere?

You need to upgrade to honeycomb. Skype on Android 3.2 will allow front camera. Read this post.

I've been curious about this as well. It was done quite a while ago on the Nexus S but required a specific firmware mod and some command line work to get the drivers to properly recognize the camera.

Well you gotta type some stuff into terminal (its in his blog along with the app) after u connect it but then yup open the app and it works.

Hello folks, got a rooted 4.2 32gig Nexus 7. Love it, and I've really enjoyed using Skype with it. And then...the latest update...

Hi, just thought I would hijack this thread.
I use Skype a lot on my Nexus 7. Whenever a call is incoming, the device wakes up and I take the call.
However, I recently got a nice wrap around case for the nexus with a magnet that wakens the device when I open it, and sleeps it when I close it. Now though, whenever a Skype call comes in, it only rings once and then "hangs up" on the dialer (showing as "no answer" on their side).
Apart from making sure the cover is always open, is there anyway of stopping Skype from rejecting calls when the cover is closed?

That sounds like something you may want to send to them as feedback or something. I have Skype but no smart case to test this myself.
