I got one of these today (currently on holiday in HK) for HK$78 about £6

It fits nice and flush and makes the phone less slippery.
I bought this one
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...661323&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_2848wt_907
it actually uses TPU (another kind of plastic that has a little more elasticity). Fitment is perfect and looks good too!
I've really missed the case that came with my G1.
I located this black leather slide in case yesterday and ordered it.
Once it comes in I'll let you guys know how it works.
That's an interesting pouch design. I got this one from Sprint:

haha how is it I knew that case what gonna be on the end of that link? could be because crazy spring only has one case out now! I couldn't belive that when I picked mine up today.
Actually Sprint also sells the pink or blue gel one as well with the hard cf back, but it doesn't come with a holster so I decided against it.
ah, ok. The store I bought mine from only had the one, but I guess they just didn't have the othere yet. I'm gonna try to hold out for ottabox.
I just received the case and it's a perfect fit. It will be good for my coat pocket but I wouldn't expect to fit it in your jeans.

Any one manage to get one that covers the phone properly.
I got 2 phone skins/ covers
But they dont fit on properly leaving the top and bottom of the cover flapping off. Just like their not tight enough.
In this they look damn ugly i want one that fits it like a glove
I'm in the same boat as the OP. I want a case because it makes it easier to press the buttons but the silicone cases I bought don't fit snugly enough.
Are there any cases that fit tight and don't shift around when you're using the phone.
I got a nice one from Amazon that works and even has nubs to help the button pressing.
got a link?
Phone cases
I got my case and a screen protector from T-mobile store. Fits perfectly tight and buttons are much more responsive
I got a Phantom Skin on my MyTouch 4G and it fits perfect. I was thinking of ordering one for my HD7. Here's a link.

They have them in different colors but I think the Carbon Fiber black looks the best.
woow siriously they look amazing, im considering it now
i ordered my HTC HD7 yestrday and said it takes about 2 to 4 buisness days.. i hope it arrives the soonest possible to start playing with it allready
Hey guys, when I didn't have the extended case I had a seidio one from best buy it was a hard case and it was awesome. I was wondering if there are any that I could buy then mod? Or just buy. Thanks

I'm looking for something like this too. I've seen the htcpedia cases, and the hard rubber ones look good, but my girl is NOT into black or red (the only choices available for hard rubber cases). Silicone is no good either, as it makes it harder to get in and out of her jeans pockets.
Ahh haha, Yeah i bought the silicone one from htcpedia... I don't use it .. EVER its terrible. i wish they made one like the otterbox or sedio ones.. were its 2 pieces. and slides right on...
this is what i did with the speck case
That's what I did to the hard rubber verizon case.
That's my seidio case... Tried to cut it then realized it came together at the part that I was cutting out.
And that's the silicone case from htcpedia. Terrible quality.

Want to know if anyone has tried both and which one they picked?
I need to get a case but can't find a local store to test the speck case. My main concern is the size and if I will be able to easily get it out if my jeans pocket?

I originally bought the commuter, the day I got my phone(launch day) but after 2 days of use I got so fed up with it that I pulled it off and went with no case for about a week before I picked up the Speck, which has been on ever since.
The Speck is FAR thinner than the Commuter... however, it is still very sturdy and feels like it is protecting my vivid.
The Commuter was simply too bulky and I found the cover over the charging port to be difficult to open. in addition it was hard to put on, which makes popping the battery out a problem(something you will have to do if you buy backup batteries Or do much with custom roms).
Thanks for the info I will look for a speck case then!

Otterbox all the way.
Just bought the speck case for my white HTC vivid and by far the best case for the money. Love the case so much and trust me when i say it. I have over 5 cases and if you are looking for a thinner case go with the Tpu style.

I use an otterbox defender. I work in a warehouse environment and have to have a good rugged case. Also like having a beltclip instead of carrying it in my pocket. Would love to see a few different options that offer the same or similar protection though so I can change the look of my phone from time to time and not sacrifice durability.

I have tried these 3: otterbox commuter (grey/blk), speck and incipio (SILICRYLIC). After 2 weeks of try out, I went with otterbox for the reason of protection. I just feel the quality of otterbox provides a lil more protection that the other 2.
At first, I found putting the case on was a hazzle but now it doesn't bother me anymore. I kinda master the skill and able to put on in 5 sec. hehe
As for style or design, I like the speck case.
