yup just got it

Just started using it not bad at all. I just wish it was a cross between this and thumb keyboard. This one feels just a little small in split keyboard mode

The process took less then 2 minutes from registering to downloading - have it now and about to install.
Looks ok.
I think Thumb Keyboard has a lot more functionality (directional keys, readily accessible punctuations, @ symbol, parentheses, .com key with extras [.net, .org, .etc) when longpressed and all other 'tabbed' symbols just require a longpress, too.
Just MHO.
Here are some screen shots just not a big fan of the full screen text input. Would also like split me keyboard in portrait.

Yeah, they definitely need to make the keys a little bigger.

I think it works great!
Hated it, went back to stock. Takes way too much realestate in portrait, my main viewing format.
Swyped from my HTC EVO 4G running Frost 4.0 using XDA app.

You are the first person I have seen that primarily uses their tablet in portrait.

haha me too... why would you need this keyboard if you are using it in portrait? wouldn't stock work well enough? just wondering.... but the whole full screen force thing is bad, thumb keyboard does it too by default, but you can override it.
Hey I am waiting to have my account admin approved on swiftkeys site, in the mean time could someone post the APK for the keyboard!?!
Pretty plz!

patience grasshopper. they are really fast about it, shouldn't be more than a few minutes. respect developers' wishes. if they wanted it out here they would have posted it here.
Trying it out now, so far I love the look of the app and it has been working great.

It needs some work still, I was on a closed beta (which I think I can admit), and of course, now use the open beta available on the forum.
But despite the issues with sizing and the alternate keys for symbols and stuff, the predictive text is still like the number one need when typing on a tablet, and it is so much more useful than stock. I don't use split mode atm, because of the key sizes, but I'm hoping I'll like that once they get it worked out.

The common theme seems to be the small buttons are an issue. Hopefully they will make th necessary adjustments.
I'm sure they will, it was among the first comments in the closed beta. I'm using standard layout for now.
Also, nobody can deny... SwiftKey's style on the Xoom is freaking awesome.
Wow Amazon is awesome right now.

Ugh. Why is this only a US thing! Sounds awesome for you guys though
Thanks a lot. It works for Canadians too.
Yeah it's great. I'll be checking amazon application store every day to see what app they offer for free.
So far I'm really liking swift key. I like the text prediction and the ability to soften haptic feedback. That may be a feature of the stock keyboard but I never looked.

anyone tried this keyboard yet? I will admit that is taking me some time to get used to this thing but it definitely has loads of potential. I would like to hear anyone elses experiences also!

Thus far I used it like Swipe (single finger) and I find it excellent. Next I will try two fingers. It also has good predictive suggestions. Hopefully more language choices become available in the future.
Got the Note today and love this thing especially compared to my Evo. I am trying to figure out if I can use the swype KB along with the pen. I could use the pen with the samsung KB but can I switch from the swype to the pen on the fly? Any help would be really appreciated.
There's an app in the playstore called GMD spen control, it lets you customize pretty much any gesture. I'm not certain but that app may allow you to do what your looking for. But I believe your device has to be rooted.
Sorry I don't have any more info, I'm brand new to the device as well. hopefully someone else will chime in.

No worries. I'll check it out. I am in two minds about rooting this and am not sure yet.
Is it possible to put the galaxy note 2 keyboard on the One? Does it need to be rooted?
I really like the 5 row setup. I tried hackers keyboard as an alternative but didn't like it. Too many extra keys.
The note 2 keyboard was amazing.

Have you tried using Kii Keyboard? It has an option for the number row and when it shows up too (portrait only, landscape only, both). Only thing though is that it's a paid feature, although they let you try it out for an hour.
I'll give it a try. I've not used that before.

The Kii keyboard seemed to do the trick... But I'd still love to get the note 2 keyboard for free instead of spending the money. Is that part of the Samsung os?
Can it work on sense?

I don't think it would be as simple as installing an app if that's what you are thinking. Keep in mind the Note 2 keyboard has the handwriting input option and other Note 2 specific features. I, too, would love to have the keyboard. I think someone more experienced with this stuff than you and I could figure it out but if I were you, I'd just look for the best alternative.
