So i'm thinking of going to nookie froyo after initially playing around with cm7. it's great but the battery drain is pretty bad.
is there anything i need to do in order to go to nookie froyo (emmc install), or can i just follow the instructions as if i was installing nookie froyo from stock?
Be sure to remember that CM7 uses the EXT4 File extension and nookie froyo uses EXT3. If you are running CM7 off an SDCARD you can just format the SDCard and install nookie froyo on it. Else, you are going to need to re-partition the eMMC to be EXT3 using thecubed's method.
Running Nookie Comb on a class 6 SD card, with OC, and the performance has been great. Tried to install apps I downloaded previously from the Amazon Appstore and most wouldn't install, Angry Birds (Seasons and Rio). Then I treid downloading with ads version from the Market. These wouldn't install either. Anybody else had this issue?
NookColor NookieComb 0.4.2 OC 1.1Ghz
I have Nookie Froyo sdcard for my Nook, I would like to switch to CM7 stable version on sdcard and wanted to know if there is a setup version already.
SDCARD bootable CM7
I run CM7 on Droid incredible and really like it, so I thought I would try it out on Nook if it was not a huge hassle.
Thanks!
Has found anything that works yet? Previously I was using ChevyNo1 1.2ghz ULV 7-slot kernel but with anything past the CM7 nightly #39 or CM7.0.2 it won't allow me to mount the SD card when connected via USB to the computer.
Anyone have any suggestions? I rather prefer the actual flashed kernel + setCPU vs milestone method.
Hi guys,
Has anyone got Dalingrin's OC kernel to work on a repartitioned nook color? CWM shows that I've flashed the kernel zip successfully but when I reboot it reverts to the default CM7 kernel.
I have a blue dot nook color repartitioned to 1GB for apps and 5GB for media with CM7 nightly 118 running off the emmc.
Thanks in advance!
Did you check ON the "Set on boot" box?
Verified you flashed the eMMC zip file.
