Has anyone had the problem t30 from the sprint vvm app? I'm running the cmgb rom its the 1/11 update I think. All it says us error t30 when I run it. Tried uninstall then install and doing it through titanium backup. Nothing seems to fix it...has anyone else had this problem?

Follow instructions on the wiki. Only way I know of to get it working. You don't restore vvm app and data from titanium. Only data. There is a special vvm .zip to apply. Worked like a charm for me.
Flash sense based rom and update vvm, backup with TB the nand back to gb rom and restore vvm. Data is the only choice you are given.

I tried that, but it's not working. when I flash the sense rom and back it up and cone back to gb rom I can't restore the vvm app.
its crossed out on the bottom, how would I fix that?

There's a .zip on the wiki for vvm. Flash that and restore ONLY DATA from titanium. You have to backup data from sense or froyo rom first though.

Alright that worked flashed the zip then restored it. Thanks for the help

No problem. Glad you got it working.
Yeah sorry forgot to tell you to flash the vvm file and then use TB to restore data only. Glad you got it running.

I'd start with posting in the correct forum: development instead of themes and apps.
That said, I'm very happy with Froyo 2.2.1 (released dec 13).

Did you wipe everything in recovery mode before installing the rom?
If you're not familiar with rom install steps, follow the steps in the guide posted in the development forum.

I'd start with telling him to post in the real correct section, which we all know is general, or even Q&A
I use FroydVillain 1.7.2, but if you want speed, just flash flykernel 12 on your current ROM and it should be rapid.
I put froyo 2.1.1 on my phone and wiped everything including my nandroid back up is there any way I can get it back? Froyo is amazing may I add lol.. can I create a backup image of this rom instead?

There is a Radio thread in the dev section, where you can flash the newest radio versions. As to what it does.. im not entirely sure myself its supposed to improve phone reception i think.
But make sure you flash the correct type of radio... There is GSM or CMDA. Make sure u know which is the correct one for you!
So i have looked for handcent sms and go sms in the market and they do not appear...i got a link to the app in the market and on the top there is a bar that says the app is not compatible with your device? Is this a known issue?
I know there's been some market issues with liberty but I've been using go sms with it. I haven't had to download it since its been in my backup but it works fine, i'd assume if you can get the apk and side load it you'd have a work around.
Sent from my DROID3 using XDA App
i install it using titanium backup too but when i go to the market i am able to find it and actually just installed the 11/1 update. (Go SMS)
The latest Liberty fixes Market issues supposedly.

yes but you should be backing everything up so i don't see why it matters. backup, wipe, flash, reboot, restore, reboot, and youre right back where you left off.
Edit: I think he has a patch in the thread as well if you really don't want to flash the new ROM, but like i said its pretty quick and painless if you use Titanium
Like most people, I jumped at the chance to have Google Now w/ voice on my HTC Vivid running ICS. Worked well until the newer version came out which was JB only. I got tired of the 'newer version is available' nag so I removed Google Now using StockGoogleSearch.zip but apparently it left behind voicesearch.apk version 3.0.1 which would force close. I downloaded version 2.1.4, replaced it in the system/app folder and changed the permissions to be the same (rw user, r system) and it works well until I reboot. When I reboot it re-installs version 3.0.1 and I have to install 2.1.4 and it works again. I know I'm missing something obviously but I don't know what. Any ideas?
Just reflash your ROM without wiping should remove whatever Google now added

correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you have to run an RUU
You know you could have just swiped away the card notifying you of the new version, and it wouldn't have nagged you anymore. As far as removing it, you should have made a backup before flashing it, as is advised multiple times in the OP of the Google Now for ICS thread... just flashing whatever ROM you're running should get you back, but you may end up having to full wipe/reflash
I wasn't able to find another thread about this...
Is it possible to share app data between the stock ROM slot and the other ROM slots, or do they all run on their own system partitions? Is something like the MoDaCo switch for the HTC One possible?
Thanks!

You cannot share data between different ROMs. I don't know much about MoDaCo but I have not heard of anything like that working with the D4. What you can do is use an app like Titanium Backup or ROM Toolbox to back up your apps and data and restore to your new ROM. I use Titanium and it works wonderfully.

Thanks, I'll try that! I switch between CyanogenMod and Stock infrequently, but often enough that I'd like to have some kind of connection between the two.
