Hi,
I have flashed the "Darkys_v9.2_Extreme_Edition" Rom now I'm trying to to flash a Theme. After I have flashed the theme I get the notification that it have been done. But I didn't see any changes. Is it necessary to install any other tools to get it work? I didn`t find any informations. Maybe somebody can give me a hint.
Thanks in advance
Hello...
What theme are you trying to flash and what method are you using to flash?

Midnight Theme v1.0 by edint3000
or
DeepBlueTheme_JPY_By_Virnik_v0
I try 2 different ways
ClockworkMod 2.5.1.2
or Darky ROM (Manager which comes with the ROM)
each way says complete, but nothings changes.

Hay fellas just remember one thing flash themes according to your firmwares....if you have JVP then download and install theme which support JVP....otherwise u get nothing or a bootloop.

Any ROM you get from this forum will have installation instructions. This is the best place to start.
Gingerbread has not been officially released yet so I doubt you will find any ROMs based on it. Most custom ROMs are based on JPU and JPY (both FroYo), but they do have some Gingerbread elements installed.

Nice to see galaxy have recovery and 3 button mode.
Both are working on my galaxy.
Very easy to install custom rom.
But Xperia x10 need to root then install recovery and then custom rom.

I like to know if i can flash I9000 themes that are based on JVO.
If i'm gonna have a problem, what kind of problems am i gonna get?
losing home haptic is not a problem since i don't use it anyway.
BTW I'm on continuum v5.5
different framework ... continuum 5.5 is jvh based if you flash a jvb theme onto that it will bootloop
continuum is jvo. so if it's same framework' it'll work?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
Oh I'm sorry I misread that earlier, yes you "should" be able to use jvo themes on it, the worst that can happen from an incompatible theme is a bootloop, so if you are gonna try an untested theme put another continuum theme that is proven to work on your sdcard as well, that way if the one you are testing loops you can just flash the other one and be up and running.
oh ok Thank you!

Hey Buddys
How do i remove theme?
I used CMW to apply it, but dont know how to remove.
Help! !!

there is no suck a thing called Remove theme , but , re-place\re-flash theme
check what rom are you using
if you using overcome , just go through their site and download their stock or costum theme .. if you are in any another rom , just tell me and i'll make a cwm zip for you for the stock theme but after you give me your framework-res.apk and systemUI.apk from the rom you flash it

Cwm5

Install CWM5 as most ROMs which are being developed nowadays do not work properly when flashed via CWM4. Here is a thread, you can get the download link for CWM5 here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1552695
yaa, you can use CMW5. no worries at all.
-try to reinstall
-or redownload the files

Flash a custom kernel that has ClockworkMod Recovery built in.
Sent from my SGH-I897 using XDA
You need a kernel with cwm baked in. Try using Corn Kernel 7.0A. That will give you the CWM. You can use the utility in my signature to install the kernel.
