if its possible for the g1 wont it be possible for the hero?
I think it should be able to work on heroes if it does for the G1, if this would work It would keep me from going to another phone besides the hero for 1- 1 1/2 years

Hi, I am using CM4.0.4 and I am attracted by the usability of Hero so I would like to have a try of Hero Roms.
However, I knew that Hero Roms' bluetooth is broken before.
Is it working now?
Which one is better for G1?
No they dont
and i recommend ether
Jacxhero ski or
MLIGN hero
if bluetooth worked the OP of every hero post would have it written in amazingly large flashing letters.
has anybody been able to do anything usefull or interesting using the flash player that comes with the hero roms.i havent had any luck at all.and whats with adobes website video showing it work so nicely on hero?
are they using on the htc hero, or a htc dream with hero on it? also, company-made promotions are always sooooo much better than the real thing.
Have you tried Miniclip.com? Addictinggames.com? Almost half of the games work on Hero

Rom Dump For Anybody who want to play around and try to Port
http://www.vbnfiles.com/xda/xmoo/Ace...-keys_dump.zip
there is no chance of porting it, it was built for a totally different processor so its not likely
tho it would be cool if this managed to get on our phones they would prolly explode from having to work so hard :O but froyo and sense would be cool
I saw this when I was bored and looking to see what was going on with Evo roms and stuff.

Is Sense 2.0 officially from HTC or made by some users like us?
Is it really more streamlined and quicker?
Could our Heroe's hardware handle it?
Would it be easier to build the 2.2 and 2.3 and beyond with our Heroes with this opposed to the current Sense UI we have?
If it is possible to run on our Heroes, has any devs talked about developing roms with it to anyone's knowledge?
(Disclaimer: I haven't been doing stuff to my Hero for about 6-8 months and haven't kept up with what is going on since then, so excuse some of my ignorance)
Sense 2.0 is what the Desire Z and Desire HD shipped with.

I was Recently Wondering the same thing.... Can the Evo be Ported to our Hero???? Anyone???
"Sent From" My Fast as it Gonna get Sprint Hero! Running... My *ExpressoEnergyHero* ROM, The Build.Prop Tweek from Kifno, & The XDA BLUE.apk from Page 10 of my "EEH" Thread!!
Im about to switch to T-Mobile however i am not going to be able to get a smartphone package so im trying to get a smartphone and ill just put in a non-smartphone SIM card. Anyway, I have a 1v1 trade in process for a G1 and my ZUne HD. Should i get a G1? i would like to know if the Gingerbread roms here are speedy and work well. Also, if the devs are likely to get Ice Cream roms going. And finally, If the new Google Music works on the G1 with a Gingerbread rom
If you can get a better phone, then do it cuz the G1 is really old and sorta slow. Gingerbread performance is decent enough for me with overclock to 576 and the new radio.
The G1 is too slow now!
The Gingerbred Roms (COS-DS, Superginger...) works ok with the "new" radio and hboot
and overclocking. Froyo works better!
Music app?? Do you mean Music 3.0??It worked for me on COD-DS.
It also has ony abour 90mb internal mem. and with the new radio and hboot (2.22.27.08 radio and 1.33.0013d hboot)
Go and get another phone not the G1 its to slow!I was using it for an half year but it was too slow so I bought the HTC HD2
I was going to get a HD2, but the keyboard was terrible(didn't have android then ) and the screen seem really flimsy(telstra version)

Hmm yes WM6.5 is laggy
But after updating official HTC Rom / updating radio, flashing hspl 2.08, flashing MADLGR 1.13, flashing CWM 3.0.2.5, partition sdcard, flash a Rom, you finally get Android on the HD2 and its incredible fast and has (almost*) no laggs!
Im running an incredible Rom: imilka's Incredible Sense
*laggs only in Sense 3.0 and Gingerbread + Sense
Yea, but I went and got a lappy + a dream instead . Oh well
if you are looking for a decent g1, head to swappa here http://swappa.com/devices/all and look for g1. the lowest price available now is 75 USD, which is a bargain
but just a heads up, g1 have a really small ram, even with 2708+ and cc turned on.
keep the zune HD, better to have both of them.
