Anybody else with this problem? It happened to me about a day ago in HC v4. The "Top Free" and "Recent" categories still show up.
Others have reported this problem with phones, and suggested Market Enabler to fix it. I've tried it (even though it doesn't seem relevant for the NC) - no luck. I've cleared the Market cache and done a forced close and reboot, still not working.
It has also been blamed on "Airplane Mode" in the Wireless settings. Not checked, and never has been in this case.
Any suggestions? Thanks...

I noticed today that I haven't gotten any of my emails pushed to my phone. I checked Settings > Accounts & sync > Google and the last time my stuff was synced was yesterday, Thu, Jul 22 at 3:24 pm. Nothing happens when I click on Sync now. Similarly, nothing happens if I go to the Calendar or Gmail app and click on Sync. I don't know if this is relevant, but sometime yesterday my phone started telling me my phone storage space is running low. It's at about 14.3 MB. Could this somehow be preventing the sync? I restarted my phone to no avail.
And now my Market refuses to download or update any apps. They just get stuck at "Starting download..." Also, my Market looks very different from normal!
1) The rightmost button used to be "Downloads," not Sprint!
2) I can only get to my downloads by pressing Menu.
3) Clicking on Sprint brings a section I've never seen before! It's just a list of apps, but until now I have never seen it.
This isn't a local data outage because other data apps are working.
Exactly the same thing has happened to me but I'm not rooted. Just Sprint/HTC Android 2.1.
Was updating apps and market started acting flaky, then the Sprint tab appeared. Rebooted updated more apps, no problem. Tried to install Nook which is a large app, got message that install failed due to corrupted file. From that point on low memory notification stays on even after removing an app. Tried installing Nook again to uninstall thinking the failed install left something in the memory. No luck even downloading now.
Can't download and sync won't work even after rebooting and renewing Profile. And low memory notification stays on. In hindsight I noticed the low memory notification popping on somewhat frequently the last few weeks when in fact there was no real memory problem.
Came here thinking it's time to root my Hero and upgrade to 2.2 since Sprint has announced no more upgrades for the Hero.
I have rooted my 1.1 now and everything seems to be working great. I have almost all my apps back to normal, but I am having some trouble with TB.
Every time I select an App that I wish to uninstall, and then select "Uninstall" it proceeds to do so, but it hangs at the "Uninstalling (app name here)".
Any ideas?
It DOES indeed uninstall it, but I have to kill TB every time afterward.
jep - me too... Just used google looking up for this trouble and it brings me here unfortunatelly no answer.
I am going to try that "use secure api stuff"-features in setup...
edit.
nope - did not help changing the settings.
It (TB pro version) hangs on my rooted LG E720 (Android 2.2) as well as on my rooted Samsung Nexus-S (Android 2.3).
(ah - and NO, I did not mess with the licensing. I have paid on both devices)
Mine Too...
and it also occasionally hangs on freezing an app too.
maybe your "app freezing" problem can be fixed by changing the settings!
if you enter preferences and scroll down to "troubleshootings settings" the first option might be interesting for you!
"Adjust this setting if you have problems when restoring or freezing/defrosting apps.
But it did not help for my "uninstall"-Problem.
well... after tempering some more with those settings (i.e select the middle option) I was able to uninstall several APPs now without hanging up TBP... And before, it 100% allways hung.
So maybe thats the trick.

It still hangs on uninstall on my Droid Charge running Humble 5.0 (and any other Gingerbread ROM I have tried. I have tried various settings and no luck. I have reported problems to titanium backup and received absolutely zero response and have searched the web and haven't found anything that works yet.)
I wish I knew when I bought AND recommended Titanium Backup that the company was so haphazard about what they support and what they don't. I expect to get, at least, a reply acknowledging my concern. Juice Defender had problems for a long time, but at least those guys would respond even if it took them a long time to admit to finally admit their was a problem.
I think I might've found the fix for this.
Seems like if I uninstall an app with the phone plugged in... all good.
If I'm running on battery, it hangs.
Every time I start the app, I get the warning:
Your system settings may cause problems. To correct this, go to "Applications" and tick "USB debugging" in "Development".
The USB debugging only takes place if your phone is plugged in. So I plugged the phone in, and it seems... no more hanging.
I didn't test this extensively, so I hope this is the fix for you.
This has been driving me up the wall. It happens almost daily. I'll be using the phone doing various different things and I will get a pop-up that says "Unfortunately clock has stopped". I hit ok and it goes away but within seconds, it pops back up again. This will continue until I reboot the phone. I've tried clearing cache on the app and in the storage menu but it's continuing to happen. Any Ideas?
It seems to be if you have alarms set. Mine does the same thing. Even full restore didn't fix it. Using timely for my alarms does. Unfortunate to have to use a different app.
Try this, it fixed my "unfortunately clock has stopped" issue

***********Update*************POSSIBLE SOLUTION

I too experienced the issue "unfortunately, clock has stopped" after updating my phone to Lollipop. I called Verizon and they told me to do a factory restore, which I did. The issue still persisted.
I just called Verizon Wireless tech support back. The guy had seen this problem once before and found a fix for it. I haven't seen this fix posted on any website, but it worked immediately. Please let me know if this works for you
Go to Settings--Date and Time--Select Date Format, and then choose a date format. Once I picked 'regional' the clock worked without the error "unfortunately, clock has stopped"
I tried clearing cache and doing a factory reset, and it didn't work. You don't have to do this if this if selecting a date format works. Please comment and let me know if this helped you. I'm curious if this will work across the board. Maybe even for phones other than Samsung Galaxy S4. I'm stoked!
I get it for YouTube all the time. For example, open a wallpaper app or something "YouTube has stopped" - could be anything, and this is days without using YouTube.
Weird.
Same

After just using timely for alarms I stopped having the clock issues and have been getting the youtube and internet doing it now. If its not one thing its another. I wonder if its just my phone at this point.
Hey need some help 360photos app on my gear vr for s6 has gotten some extreme lag now with head movement and I have no Idea why? Only app that does it... well cinema does it slightly but 360photos is like I'm tripping hard on shrooms or drank a fifth of vodka and everytime I move my head it's like a blur till I stop my head and it focuses. Does it regardless of Internet connection (turned on airplane mode to see if it was a streaming issue).* Uninstalled 360photos and oculus home neither of which helped me. Only thing I've really tinkered with in the actual vr apps is sideloading downloaded videos into milkvr app. Most of which don't work now that I downloaded the latest update, for some reason. I didn't convert them when uploaded them onto s6 just copied them but still not sure why that would be an issue. Anyone else having this issue or is there anything that I can do to make it clear up the way it was when I bought it. Really don't want to have go through the bulls hit Hassel of resetting my phone. Help would be greatly appreciated thanks.
I have experienced this a few times with my S6. Both times turned out to cause by some third party app. First one was a sense 7 clock widget. After uninstalling, issue went away. Second time was after installing sygic gps. Your issue could very well be the same, some rouge app that was poorly written.

No I got it fixed would say that was it but havn't deleted any apps. I had to go into the dialer enter *#0*# brings up a menu, select scope ( I think, been a few days since I figured it out) and you have to run checks on gyroscope and manually calibarate compass.
Does anyone else find the "arrow going around in circles" animation doesn't always work properly? It just appears as a static, unmoving icon?
And the Play Store sometimes says "checking for updates" and never changes (until you force kill the app)?
I get this fairly often (I've cleared data and cache for the app. Can't be bothered with a factory reset; perhaps when Oreo eventually comes out).
This forum is pretty quiet; perhaps there are too many different moto g5-related models! Are there any forums elsewhere on the internet for this phone?
