[Q] noob needs help - replaced app tab in app drawer - Motorola Droid and Milestone General

Sorry if this is in wrong place. Noobie
Moto droid1 Cynogenmod 6.1.2
I just flashed 6.1.2 and was moving apps around panels and accidentally placed app over my applications app (thought it was the old trash on bottom). Now I cant seem to be able to replace the applications tab. I have tried to create own shortcut and then replace it but unable to. Any thoughts would help.
Thankyou!
Found it!
Longpress homescreen - custom shortcut then tap "pick your activity" and choose "launcher actions", select "open/close App drawer". After that drag & drop the launcher icon on the appr. place.

[Q]Installing icon packs

Hey guys. Simply put, how do I install an icon pack?
I just got myself an Evo 4g a few days ago. I want to install some new icon packs to further customize my UI, but I have no idea how. My phone is not rooted, and i'm nervous about rooting it because I don't want it to brick.
Here's what apps I'm actively running: LauncherPro Plus, SwitchPro Widget, Moxier World, Tajm, Snowstorm Weather, Simply Lockscreen, & Battstatt.
I really like LauncherPro Plus, but I want my UI to look sleek, attractive, and simple.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!
How to Change Icons!
Alright so what I do is I use the app FolderOrganizer. You can create folders and you can choose custom icons or icons that they have to make your phone more "sleek". BUT the better part of this app is that you can edit icons for apps too.
//How to Change Apps icons\\
1. Download or create icons (sized 64x64)
2. Put them onto your SD card.
3. Download FolderOrganizer
4. Once the app is open click on the Apps section.
5. Find the app or apps that you want to change.
6. Long press the app you've selected.
7. Click the last option that says "Change Icon"
8. It will bring up four or five options (assuming you download your icons in a folder on your SD card) click "Android Image Gallery"
9. Find the icon you want to change it to.
10. It will save
11. Press home button and get into the add to homescreen menu (long press)
12. Click add shortcut
13. Go down the list till you get to "FolderOrganizer Item"
14. Then click the "Apps" option
15. Then find the app that you changed the icon of.
16. Then the app will show up on your homescreen with the changed icon!
***This will not change the look of the icon in the app drawer!!!***
***This is not the only app that will do this, but in my opinion it is the easiest***

[Q] how to create a shortcut to applications menu?

Hi.
I am using cyanogenMod 6.1, I replaced the Applications shortcut from ADWLauncher by mistake with another shortcut. (The middle shortcut) I am wondering how I can restore it.
Any help is very welcome.
thanks.
Long press on the home screen> custom shortcut> launcher action> open/close app drawer.
Drag new icon to dock bar...

Thank you, Now it is working properly.

ADW Launcher Question - I screwed up!

I wasn't paying attention earlier today and was trying to remove an Icon from my home screen. I am running the new version of Cyanogen ROM.
Not used to the "Delete" area being on top of the screen. So, when I went to delete the icon off of the screen, I in fact moved it into the section of ADW where the "App Drawer" is located.
So now I don't have access to my app drawer. I have "Phone / Dumb Icon / Browser" instead of "Phone / App Drawer / Browser"
How in the heck do I get the app drawer back in the middle???
I tried to do a "Restore" of ADW Lancher, but I've never made a back up of it.
Long press home screen>Custom shortcut>Pick your activity>Activities>ADW.Launcher>ADW.Launcher(Open/close app drawer)
Drag it back to where you want it
THANK YOU!
Sorry for the trouble.
I think I've seen more threads on this subject than I've seen on Gingerbread! xD

LOL, yeah. I got rid of the open/close app drawer altogether and have a swipe up action to open my app drawer. This way it give me one more shortcut on the dock anyway.
Same thing happened to me last night. Took me an hour to figure out how to get it back. LOL

[Q] Deleted link to Apps page.

Hi,
In CM7 I stupidly deleted the link to the App's page. Can anyone please tell me how I can restore the link? Thanks in advance.
Phil
Not sure if this is what you're asking but I think it is.
Long press on the wallpaper like you are creating a shortcut or adding a widget, then select "Launcher Actions". Pick "Open/Close App Drawer". This will add an app launcher icon to your home screen which can then be dragged down to your dock bar where it used to be.

[Q] Changing shortcut bar shortcuts

Hello!
A tiny question about O2X (stock version)
How can I change items which are located in shortcut bar on home screen? (see attached image). Default are "Phone Contacts Messaging Applications"
I know that i had previously changed those, i think when the phone wasn't rooted. Then I rooted, recently fed up with root and restored back to original LG version.
But now i can't find how to change those shortcuts...
Enter app-drawer, click menu, select (more/)Edit, then drag the shortcuts you want down to the bottom bar.
I knew it was something easy, thanks!
Excuse me for my foolishness.
