Whenever I am doing anything on my tab, be it web surfing, playing a game, or just watching a video, it keeps going to home menu.
Just recently I was watching a video, and it popped up settings menu and immediately after it popped up the menu that comes up when you hold home.
I am not sure if anyone has experienced this before, but it gets rather annoying and I can't tell if it is a faulty tab or is it a virus, or something else.
Help would be much appreciated
Did you install any new software or flashed firmware. Tab usually doesn't go back on its own to home screen unless a Forced Closure error occurs in which it usually hangs a bit and reverts to home screen. JMG firmware has an English Dictionary that FCs alot so it might be the reason. check running applications in settings menu and try to pinpoint what is doing it. Also post your firmware version (*#1234#).
Its not a force close issue. Im running stock 2.2 JJB Kernel 2.6.32.9
I dont have dialer on this tab and I dont want to flash anything yet.
There doesnt seem to be anything running that gives any indication.
I do have a ZAGG InvisiShield screen protector on it, but the screen still responds alright.
Well if simplest answer is usually the right one. Try without the screen protector as it maybe touching or messing up the touch buttons. Also try to do a reset either from settings, privacy factory default or via recovery menu by holding volume up and power button simultaneously.
Finally to put it at rest. Put the tablet on a flat surface and watch the video. If it happens without you touching or screen protector messing it up it might be a faulty screen.
It was a faulty tab. I got it replaced at the T-Mobile store.
BELAY THAT!!!

Recently, my Tilt started "locking up" unexpectedly -- it is non-responsive to key or button presses, or touch screen presses, but the bluetooth and wireless lights blink occasionally so it appears to be still "alive". I have to take out the battery to reset it.
This started happening about the time I started wearing it in a belt case. I suspect I am somehow pressing some combination of buttons or partly sliding open the keyboard hwen I take it out of the case, but I'm not sure (obviously). It doesn't happen every time, in fact only about one out of fifty times I remove it from the case, but it is still bothersome.
Perhaps someone else has experienced this or can guess as to the case? Or, perhaps there is a way to turn off all external controls so they cannot be accidentally pressed - while still giving me a way to quickly answer calls/texts?

Steve - If after following the help Harkadenn gave you you are still puzzled - please read the threads on lockups on the Tilt. You wil find these in the ROM sections.
Now - it is going to be necessary to know some if not all of the following information:
1. where are you - US - SE - NW - Italy?
2. what is your carrier?
3. what ROM version are you running
4. have you flashed any other ROMs? or are you running the original
5. what programs have you loaded?
I suspect that you are NOT pushing any buttons - that this is actually locking up on you.

i thought at first it was me, then i thought, it was the invisible shield i have on my kaiser, but no... it turned out to be HTC's rom that was freezing up.
I flashed dutty's rom, and hey presto, everythings quicker, no lock ups, touch screen reponds 100%!
Even flipping the keyboard out, the rotation is instant!
Something strange happened to me today.
The unit lost power, the screen went weird, then the unit shut off.
After charging it when I got home, I wasn't able to boot it; it wouldn't even go into recovery via home & end.
I saw something online where someone suggested trying to go into recovery mode with the keyboard open.
This worked & I wiped & reflashed the SuperBad rom.
What I've come to realize is that my display isn't working at all when the keyboard is slid under the display, or shut - so to speak.
Any ideas? Might there be a 'simple fix' to this that I don't know about?
Also ..
What happens when I close the unit is that a bunch of black lines appear across the display (looking at the unit in Portrait mode).
Looking at the unit in Landscape mode, the lines appear vertically across the screen & the homescreen appears to not rotate, but stays in Portrait mode.

Everyone that I have talked to has said it is a possibility that it is the ribbon cable for the keyboard. The replacement procedure for that is a bit complex (small parts involved) but it is possible to fix. And truth be told, I could also be totally wrong. But you had said that you re-flashed it and it continues the same problem. That sounds more like a hardware issue and less like a software issue.
My wife galaxy note has a habit to turns on wifi on it's own.
Sometimes it's just a flicker on the screen (which makes the whole screen hang, but pen still works)
Other times , but rarely, you will see it scroll down, turns on wifi, scroll back up. It will scan for wifi if none is available, then pretend like nothing happened.
I don't know if this is a bug or a feature in Android, or worse , one of the angry bird space got installed with malicious code (free from Play Store)
Phone is unrooted, no sd card.
Once I got the top left app that I tried to move (voice recorder) went crazy, switching from screen to screen and vibrating in it's spot after I hold my finger there for a few seconds.
Mate I'd to a full wipe of that asap, sounds dodgy as hell. Then when you come to reinstalling apps etc, double check they're from reputable sources.
Either that or your note has become self aware, in which case, congratulations, it had to happen sooner or later

I've finally found the issue is related to loose screen on the top left. Slightly pressing the top left will cause the screen to freeze/scrolls down etc.

Recently updated to 6.0.1 on my LG Urbane watch. Everything was working fine for about a day and half. Then I noticed some sort of glitch on my touchscreen. Specifically the middle area. I turned on show touches in developer option and everytime I tried touching the middle, it shows an off touch a bit to the side.
I did a factory reset. Still the same thing happens. It is also affecting some apps. In LG Pulse, I am not even able to press the start button to monitor my heart rate, unless I press it a bunch of time in and around the play button.
I tried to reflash it through adb loader but on the bootloader or recovery screen, the touch screen stopped working. I can not pressed the selection or confirm buttons at the bottom.
Does anyone know any way to fix this? Is it a software issue or is there something wrong with the touch hardware on the watch?
Now there is another long topic on freezing, but its basically about 10seconds freeze , then things normal and stuff. Mine is different so I made a new topic.
Have sprint note. On Marshmellow now but happened on Lollipop as well.
The problem is:
After several hours of use, or may even a day, the phone just freezes....partly. Let me explain. Basically if you touch anywhere on the screen, it won't register the touch. If you hit the hard recents button, it'll show recents, but you can't click any program (it doesn't register your touch). When it first happened I thought I needed a new screen, but quickly found out I probably don't: If I hit the nav bar, it will pull down full screen, and if I have it full of notifications, I can click any of the notifications, whether its near the top, middle, or bottom, and it registers the touch and sends me to the app. But then again, at that app, the screen doesn't register. Even if I touch in the same place on the screen where I clicked the notification that sent me to the app. But the nav bar still works. It recognizes the touch, and will pull down full screen, and I can click anywhere on the screen and my touch will register. Also if I hold the power button and the reboot options come up (which on mine has option from top down to bottom, I can click any option on the screen, and it will register my touch. But if I hit the home button, the whole screen is non responsive. So I have a partial freeze. The whole screen doesn't work, but then the whole screen will work when I pull the nav bar down, so im totally confused. I already tried usually differnt launchers, but same thing, after while, screen will be non responsive
If I reboot then everything works fine and normal, so I doubt its a screen issue. Because if its broke its broke. Also tried a hard reset, problem still came back. I guess it may be an app clashing problem but I have over 100 apps it could be any one of them
Has anybody experienced something similar?
I had a buddy give me an LG Lucid3 that had a similar issue... It actually got worse over time and the touchscreen totally stopped working. (He thought) I took it apart and actually the connection was good. Put it back together and just kept rebooting it multiple times in a row. Finally, the touch started to work a little an for some reason I thought to go and download an antivirus program. The phone had 11. Got rid of them and phone has been working fine for a couple weeks now. Idk if that's your problem but I figured I'd share this experience because I've never seen anything like it.
