Edit:
Error is
E:Can't mount /sdcard
I think you have to put it on the external SD card...
Well, i didn't get any with the phone, and haven't bought any. So don't have any
Like morsha said, you need to have an external sdcard for this operation, it seems

Flashed new baseband - OK
Flashed ext4 ROM - OK (quite fast), but wifi seems to have some problems... :S
/2nd edit
wifi is working again after ned flash with full wipe... Seems the wifi driver gets corrupted when the filesystem is convertet, but stays intact when system is reinstalled the 2nd time.

Let's try it again
update: yep it works with wifi now! thanks for the tip.
Basically, to get wifi working again, you do this:
Flash rom, boot phone, reboot into recovery, flash rom again, then boot phone again. And poof, your wifi should work like a charm again. ^-^
a big thank you Paul for your great work
Nice speed improvements, thank you. Don't forget to update your baseband first to avoid the WiFi errors!
Weird enough my tapatalk app can't find it's license with this one. Tried both new install and upgrade. No biggie but maybe good to know.

I've just realised the cause of the flashing error - i'm doing the EXT4 conversion too early in the process, i'll move it to AFTER the system write in the next release.
For now, flash, reboot, run recovery and flash again.
Apologies!

I recently noticed that my GPS wasnt working on CM 7.1.0.1. After searching this forum I found that quite a few people were also having the same issues so i've decided to compile this guide (all credits to OP's, i'm just putting this info in one place)...
theres not much to it to be honest, its just the information on the issue is just scattered around - plus there are probably better and more complete guides out there

Then again wipe everything and restore the cm7 backup. Now gps will be working. And once gps on cm7 works, then even after a hard reset it still works. This seems to be an issue only when freshly installing cm7. This is definitely a safe method.

Download radio zip above [19.25 or 20.10 as you probably have 15.31]
Put Radio .zip on root of SD card i.e not in any folders
Start ROM Manager
(ensure you have CWM 2.x.x.x)
Click Reboot into Recovery
Flash .zip from here by going to install zip from SD card
Don't forget to wipe caches first
Reboot phone by using the "reboot" option in cwm NOT by removing the battery

Make sure you have sufficient battery charge and do not interrupt the flashing process.
I used the 3xeno and nejc121 method's above. Downgraded my CWM (which is only temporary if selecting through ROM manager) then flashed the 20.10 radio. 3xeno recomends flashing the 19.25 radio first to see if that works but i went straight for the 20.10 = WORKING GPS

In simple terms.
1.gain temp 2.5.0.7 cwm via Rom manager or temp update zip if your on a newer version already.
2. Flash 19.25 or/and 20.10 radio.
3. Reboot.
I have NEVER wiped anything to flash a radio as it has no influence over caches whatsoever.!!!!
Whenever I had gps issues I just flashed the 19.25 radio then test gps. Then re flash 20.10 radio. Never failed me yet. Lol.

Really?! That's great to know.
Recovery is v5.0.2.7
ETA: I flashed the ROM I had on before all that mess started and now my phone is working again. I'm not sure if things went awry because AOKP's last build was screwed or because I removed the SDcard before flashing in an attempt to force the phone to use the 5GB of internal memory that has been sitting useless since I got the device.
can't I flash the last owaine version I used?

I wiped every thing before flashing the ROM and I have a complete copy of all the files I had on the SDcard saved on my PC. As soon as it finishes charging I'll move the TB files back to the SDcard and see if I can restore my apps. Unfortunately, I have to redo my system settings by hand. But I don't really mind.

Your welcome. Glad I helped.
So as Im sure everyone here knows, new firmware updates have rolled out...
For some odd reason, though, I cannot enjoy them. I came from iHackers 4.1 ROM and attempted to update to the Criskelo .118 ROM. All went okay, except the wifi kept saying "turning on."
Then, amongst other problems, I tried to go to just a stock .108 by downgrading... Still, "turning on wifi."
I'm not sure if there is any relevance, but I had Phil/TWRP dual recovery installed. The Criskelo ROM instructions said I had to have CWM if on a locked bootloader, but I am unlocked. Perhaps I misunderstood and it has to be CWM for both? I did notice that despite many efforts to get my dual recovery back, I was stuck with CWM (I did get dual back though eventually).
So could the problem have been with the conflicting recoveries? And perhaps it didn't install the kernel or ROM properly?
Thanks in advance for any replies.

The recovery has nothing to do with the functionality of wifi or anything in the ROM for that matter. Did you do a full wipe before installing the Criskelo ROM?
Other than that, make sure you're using the right baseband for .118. (if it even has changed)
If that all fails, make a backup of everything on your phone (also your internal 'sdcard') and do a full re-install of the official .118 ROM using flashtool.

Alright so it's definitely not the module. I just flashed PAC's 4.4.4 Beta ROM. The wifi successfully turns on and I am able to view networks, as well as connect to them. So why then, can I not seem to get wifi working on stock based 4.4.4 or .108/.118 ROMs? Any ideas?

Don't know why the WIFI fix is not working, but in case it does not. Here are the instructions on how to do it manually.
Download this View attachment wifi.zip and put it in your exernal SD card.
In TWRP, mount the system ( Mount > Check system ), and then navigate to system/etc/wifi with the file browser ( Advanced > File browser )
Delete all the files in there, and then copy all the files from the zip to the wifi folder.
Reboot. If this does not work please tell me.
Sorry again about that.
Changed instructions in post until I can figure out why the automatic fix is not working.
wifi works now but will the camera bee fixableby transfering the apks of the original like the wifi
Nope, phone still crashes by moving the stock ROM camera app to the ROM.
Closest I've gotten to a working camera was a error "Server error occurred. Restart Camera." By changing out these files from the stock ROM to this ROM :
libcamera_client.so
libcamera_metadata.so
libcameraservice.so
libcameraserive_cameramodule.so
But for some reason changing out just those 4 files causes the phone to lag like crazy.
also one more thing snapchat force reboots aswell u could put that in the bugs

The T and T1 have the same wifi files, the phones are identical from the factory minus 3 or 4 apps. The firmwares are interchangeable. You must have missed a step, walk us through your process.
Also any app that has a camera built in reliance is not gonna work, clearly, since the camera isn't working yet.

Sims stuck on 2G
For some reasons I can't enable 3G, I've entered my APN manually and edited the imei values to match the old ones, still stuck on 2G.
There used to be an option in the stock rom to choose which SIM gets the 3G and which sticks with 2G, didn't find it here.
Also I can't set the screen brightness to auto, is this happening with everyone or just me?

In our phones 3G(and lower) works only in first slot for sim card. Second slot uses only 2G(and lower).
In first slot set your sim card, that you need for 3G, and then write APN.
Same to do with your second slot and second sim card. Done.
Auto brightness doesn't work. I don't know why... I never used it, sorry...
Wifi hotspot?
Hello, thank you for your reply, but I'm yet to be able to enable 3G (2G works fine tho), and I've noticed that I can't enable the Wifi hotspot, as soon as the slider is enabled, it goes back off (pretty much like the 3G thing).
So I'm guessing there is something wrong with my setup? I used TWRP 2.8.7.0 but I don't see how it allows things to work and others not to, can it be the reason? And would flashing it again make it work (with the Gapps you provided, I'm having google store issues).
Thanks in advance.

Hello. This gapps from thread:[ROM][4.4.4][UNOFFICIAL][SM-G360H] CyanogenMod 11 for Samsung Galaxy Core Prime , there i have ported ROM. I don't like gapps and don't use it.
3G(in first slot) works perfectly for me, why you have issues?.. It's strange...
You can to use TWRP 3.0.2-0 from this thread, but i don't think that it will solve problem...
Backing up and trying again
I'm thankful for all of your hard work, I am backing up and will flash again (cm_11 and gapps) and will see what happens.
I'm interested if other roms for Samsung Core prime would work for this phone, since you ported the 4.4.4, can the 5.1.1 and / or other versions be ported here as well? I'd like to have the latest update possible for this phone.

For 5.1.1 we haven't kernel... When i have ported ROM, also ported boot.img, replaced split_img(zImage, dtb, etc) and have changed some thing in ramdisk. This phone still haven't update to 5.0, that we will can to use boot.img for porting... So, we can't to port any ROM higher 4.4.4

I've flashed Kanas on my phone and back to the old one, it's a bit bigger and has an Alarm and calculator by default, but I still have the same hardware issues: No wifi hotspot, no 3G. So I'll stick to the TWRP backup that has all my settings and data for now, appreciate all the help.

Ok...
Try this zip:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1MnFzuGjoAPSVJ4Q3dSMUViSHc/view?usp=sharing mod_AIO
Flash zip file via TWRP.
If this does not work, extract the zip file and replace in the lib folder all libcamera..... .so files with your stock files. This is a zip file for fixing Ril, Camera, Bluetooth ...
In the hw folder, libcamera.sc8830.so and libcamera2.sc8830.so files already is modified .

Maybe will to need libcamera.sc8830.so and libcamera2.sc8830.so files from your stock rom. They must to be modified, like written in guide.
Wish you good luck :good:
