Brand new captivate that is i896 (not sure if this matters) and is running on froyo. Today i noticed when updating my Beats songs. that the amount i could put on the internal sd card was limited to approximately 2Gb while the sd card still had 10 gb free. anyone know how to fix? thanks in advanced.
Its a bug in the rogers 2.2 froyo release, heres a thread about it:

There are no perfect solutions there, but there are some work arounds. If you want to flash a new ROM that will also fix it.
ah tyvm ;] i searched for about 30 minutes before i posted but i guess im just bad xDDD
im a bit worried about failing at flashing the phone (dont want to do anyting without reading ALOT about it but i currently have no time for that) so i'll just be using kies for now =\
thankyou once again
I have searched high and low for a solution to this problem that I have not seen anyone else have. I have installed CWM and a custom rom(ginger volt) I had issues with the rom so I erased and restored my original. Now, everytime I start my phone when it does the initial Internal memory scan it gets to about 13% and the phone restarts. I reinstalled gingervolt rom and the same thing is happening. The phone is also running very slow. I have tried all day to resolve this issue to no avail. PLEASE help.
Hello. Im struggling for awhile now with the extsd every couple days the phone decides that my sd is damaged and i need to format and upload music all from the scratch. Anyone knows how to avoid this problem ? Btw i'm on cft 1.21 but had this problem on all kind of roms.
Hey guys,
First of all I want to thank Eybee1970 for that great JB Rom. It's by far the nicest I've flashed so far on my Galaxy Note N7000
Great work and what a cool surprize with the 50GB Dropbox storage!
I've got a problem with my 64GB external SD that isn't recognized by my Finder (Mac) since I've flashed
Rocketrom. I used to have the GB and ICS versions of Rocketrom and didn't experience that problem before
Basically when I plug the micro USB and activate USB storage, my internal SD appears but not the external one.
Does anyone have that same problem or know how to fix the problem?
Thanks a lot,
Bruxav
I recently went from Android 8.0 to 9. Everything worked well except that I just realized that I have only 16 GB of internal storage instead of the original 64. If anyone could enlighten me. thanks in advance. I did not do anything except that of putting the official rom with odin.
Do a search , as I remember somebody with the same issue got specific answers to solve it
only that for my problem?
