[Q] ExtSD not recognized by Mac since RocketRom V2 (JB) - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
First of all I want to thank Eybee1970 for that great JB Rom. It's by far the nicest I've flashed so far on my Galaxy Note N7000
Great work and what a cool surprize with the 50GB Dropbox storage!
I've got a problem with my 64GB external SD that isn't recognized by my Finder (Mac) since I've flashed
Rocketrom. I used to have the GB and ICS versions of Rocketrom and didn't experience that problem before
Basically when I plug the micro USB and activate USB storage, my internal SD appears but not the external one.
Does anyone have that same problem or know how to fix the problem?
Thanks a lot,
Bruxav

Limited access to internal memory.

Brand new captivate that is i896 (not sure if this matters) and is running on froyo. Today i noticed when updating my Beats songs. that the amount i could put on the internal sd card was limited to approximately 2Gb while the sd card still had 10 gb free. anyone know how to fix? thanks in advanced.
Its a bug in the rogers 2.2 froyo release, heres a thread about it:

There are no perfect solutions there, but there are some work arounds. If you want to flash a new ROM that will also fix it.
ah tyvm ;] i searched for about 30 minutes before i posted but i guess im just bad xDDD
im a bit worried about failing at flashing the phone (dont want to do anyting without reading ALOT about it but i currently have no time for that) so i'll just be using kies for now =\
thankyou once again

[Q] nexus one not detected by PC, not even as storage...

Rooted the N1 couple of months ago, was running MIUI and everything was perfect...until I got a new a phone (HTC inspire) and wanted to sell my N1 so I took my original 16GB out and blindly went about clearing data, wiping cache and other stuff on recovery mode. yes, a rookie mistake of doing things without reading about them first...
and on the other hand, I downloaded the PASSIMG.zip on a new 8GB sd card while it was plugged in through another phone and took that 8gb sd card and put it in my N1. I followed the wikiN1 instructions and was able to get to a stock FRG83, android version 2.2.1 etc...
my problem now is that my N1 is not being detected by the PC, not even as a storage. I know the problem is with N1, not the sd card because if i use the same sd card through other phone, it is detected and everything is fine.
thanks
p.s. Yes, i tried multiple PCs and cables and etc.
Either try passimg again or try and update the N1 to 2.3.4 at least then see if it's the same problem.

Re flash old Stock version u had.
I have just unmount and mount the card now is seems to work
i don't want to flash the old rom is was in kka kl8 is much moore fluid
I had the same problem yesterday, with stock rom.
My Note restarted itself when the phone was on the table, and this happend two times in a day.
I discovered it because of the startup sound and the PIN-code screen appeared.
I had a suspicion that my SanDisk 8 gb micro-SD was the culprit so I removed this and went back to using only the built in 16 GB storage.
It seems that this took care of the problem. I have to buy another SD though..

internal storage

I recently went from Android 8.0 to 9. Everything worked well except that I just realized that I have only 16 GB of internal storage instead of the original 64. If anyone could enlighten me. thanks in advance. I did not do anything except that of putting the official rom with odin.
Do a search , as I remember somebody with the same issue got specific answers to solve it
only that for my problem?
