Tytn II as low as $330 or scam!?

I was browsing, and my eye got on these vflyer listings, they are offering tytn II from 300-550 dollars. they seem kind of weird. do you think it's a scam?!

the cheapest ive seen so far anywhere in the xda store here. get the discount club for $35 i think it is and you get the Kaiser unlocked for $718 total with the membership and discount. really good deal at $720.
cheapest ive seen anywhere else is $750 and you get free shipping here too. im thinking bout ordering

kaiser 100 - no cameras
kaiser 110 - rear camera only
kaiser 120 - both cameras

100 = no camera
110 = Back Camera
120 = Front and Back Camera.
now wonder they're so cheap...

The Western Union thing sounds shakey but he says he's in Florida and tried to call me on the phone although no one was there. Hopefully he's not using the phone he wants to sell me. LOL
Any more thoughts? I can't find any posts about how this is a known scam other than this post.

Well, I warned you. I'm not sure how clearer I can be.
They (and others like them) post the same junk here on a constant basis. Some have fallen for it and, surprise, they've lost their money.
No offense, but just use some common sense. Do you really think any company can sell merchandise for way below cost? Where's the profit?
As the old saying goes, "If it sounds to good to be true..."

Sure way to determine if the guy is a scam is see if he's willing to take a credit card for payment or anything other than Western Union.
The scammers know Western Union is their only way to steal.

so he said that they are the ones with BOTH cameras... that would be cool..
see if you can find out where in FL,if he will give you an adress i'll try to drive over and make sure its for real, if it is i would be buying one and i could pick yours up and ship it for you so theres no chance of a scam.

Try a phone that's not available here. Something European. If you go to www.Ebay.Co.Uk you can get some really good deals on UK phones. Even though the exchange rate isn't equal, they come out cheaper still. Try GSM hero, Hd Mini, tattoo, ect. Stuff along those lines are around your price range. If you want though, you can get a desire over their fot around $300-350. Much cheaper than in the US...

About the same as over here. It really only works with devices that weren't released over here. If your using Android, I would suggest a HD Mini. I really like the design of it and it's really cheap over there. But I would get a GSM Hero... Even though I like the Design of my nexus, I still prefer the Desire, Hero's, and Legends chins...

Forgot to mention one downside... Sometimes they won't ship the the US, but most of them do. You just need to ask otherwise you can't pay for the item. It wont let you go through with the checkout process.

I got back on ebay and there telling me i owe them 187.68$ for listing charges...wtf? When i listed my last phone it told me like 4$ So i cant buy anything off ebay till that gets taken care of but i can still buy here on the marketplace atleast

How much did you sell it for?? I know they charge something around 6% or so of the sale price, then another 2.5% for paypal fees...

The final listing fee was only 30$ So i don't know where they get 190$ from

Two scammers in one day

So I'm attempting to buy an iPad to use it to show clients photos, instead of printing portfolios. So I turn to good ol' craigslist. Got 2 scam replies. I see they are getting more clever. lol.

picked it up. You might want to try and buy one where I bought mine at. It's
an auction site kind of like ebay that has quite a few iPads.
I am usually able to pick them up there between $130 and $160, I think it's so
cheap because the site is newer and there aren't many bidders yet. Anyways,
I'd recommend you shop there if your still in need of an iPad. The site is
called BIDSAROO.com. I just checked and it looks like they have one
ending soon and the bid is at $53 so far.
When I signed up they gave me this coupon to give to friends, but I haven't used
it yet. Your more than welcome to use it, but I think it expires tomorrow. It's
good for placing some free bids on any auction. The coupon is: free3042

P.S. Here is a little secret I'll pass on to you. Right now there is a glitch/hack
on the site that will allow you to block other people from bidding on the item.
When you place a bid, hold down the enter key until the auction counts down to 0.

last, I'm sure the site is working on fixing the glitch/hack.

gotta disagree on that, many user on xda for example put USD and EURO even tho they are in the UK. i do that on Ebay also.

Not being able to do it in person is generally a red flag for me that it's a scam. I couldn't care less if the message comes from the Queen of England.

i have done maybe a total of 5 reviews so its ok dont get mad keep trying they let you try up to 20

Be careful. I signed up a while ago and had 4 instances where it asked me to change my password because of a security breach.

Hopefully they want honest reviews because that's what I'll be providing. I've got a few items so far. Steep discounts but nothing free yet.

Thanks. Since I saw this I've been getting things left and right. Most things you need to pay a buck or two, but some are free. I've gotten several tempered glass screen protectors. 2 bluetooth headsets. A bluetooth shower speaker, a car charger and a water bottle and a couple of cases. I think my reviews have always been on the more positive side so maybe they aren't afraid of choosing me.
I've gotten maybe 8-10 items so far and been denied for about 5. About 10 others I never even got a response. All of the items ranged from free to 5 bucks. The bluetooth headset was the most expensive, but worth it at the price.

Which headset did you get? I have one on the way that was 5 bucks. Looks like a rebranded chinese one, but i dont care.

One is a TM-011 over the ear headphone and the other is an in ear Innootech. I've noticed both of these are rebranded, especially the in ear ones. Works pretty well though. The main difference comes in the range of your device I think.

Signed up earlier today, and got approved for 2 cases for review. I'll post once they are received and reviewed. I've done reviews in exchange for products, but never from a website dedicated to review exchanges. It's always been from an invite in an XDA thread. Thanks for the info!!!!
