How do u change large globe icon in internet tab?

On the o2 rom the large globe is a blue colour but I want to change it to the more earthly colour as shown in the official HTC rom. Is this possible please and how?

The 'globe' is an image file \Windows\O2UK_Portal.qtc which is referenced by the lines
DefaultImagePath="\Windows\O2UK_Portal.qtc"
FocusImagePath="\Windows\O2UK_Portal.qtc"
in \Application Data\Manila\InternetPortal-en-gb.xml
so if you have the image you would like to substitute just point the DefaultImagePath etc. to point at it.
Note, this is where you get rid of m.yahoo as well if you like, just substitute it with google/pda or whatever.
EDIT: yes this does work - I just tried it
If anyone has the HTC Black globe images or something else nice to go with the HTC Black theme I'd like to try it.

I guess from the OPs question that he has a U.K. Ignito so unfortunately not so in the O2 ROM, there is no ~\HTC folder and no default banner.qtc apart from the one I posted.
Not all "Diamonds" are the same

I would like to help out, but on my original HTC-ROM isn't an HTC folder either, so I have no clue where the xml-file is pointing at...but I sure have the globe.

I can't find the folder \Application Data\Manila\ , let alone the file InternetPortal-en-gb.xml. It is most vexing!

I am using Total Commander on an Orange 1.14 ROM Touch HD

Nevermind, I did a bit more forum searching and found the right file to edit.
It is 27c65cbd_manila in \windows\ (for me anyway)

i've tried this and failed.I have however deleted the original opera file in the /Windows directory.Hated opera didnt want it so bye bye
Plus all my favorites have gone from the globe screen,All it has is launch browser and the globe.I did exactly what you said to do

I have an HTC Diamond with Sprint and have a couple of questions.
Is there a way to remove the Sprint TV and Sprint Radio icon off the start screen.

nokseer can you help me resize the Ramdisk in Himalaya wm6.5, some sections that I search from xda-developers about changing the size of Ramdisk is only from WM5 to WM6.1 hex address and dec address only. do you know where to find and change ramdisk size for wm6.5 himalaya...

[ROM][NLD][TMO] reconstructed original stock rom

Hi all I reconstructed the raw files from the original TMO Rom dumped on this board. included is the official radio and splash (from Topaz). If you have to return your MDA back to T-mobile for some reason, like my friend "who's MDA keep on powering off on screen out/in".

Your device must be hardSPL before you can run this one after that you must undo hardSPL as in the hardSPL thread

Yes, I used that Raphael kitchen,
but when I flashed I got "INVALID MODEL ID".
How and where I can set the correct model id?
(RHOD10000, I guess)
Do you have tried to flash your nbh reconstructed?

If im correct, its the Dutch TP 2 Stock ROM from T-Mobile.

What stock radio was this rom supposed to install? I ask because my radio didnt change from what I already had...the one in my sig...and I went back to the genesis rom and still my splash screen remains the same...I dont mind at all but if I ever have to service my phone thru warranty then I will mind at that point.

Sinds their are a lot of questions about this...
The ROM is in dutch
the radio is stock as it is release from stock bij T-Mobile in the Netherlands
the splash screen is from the TOPAZ TMO Rom, and according to my friend who needed the rom it the same. I don't know if it is the same for the other countries, I can't test it either because I don't own a TP2.

The Rom should contain 3.44.25.27

Now uploading seperated radio and splash....
Problems with rapidshare preventing me from uploading the radio, so it will only be splash for now

My first try for cooking need some help Please

hello i am trying to cooke my first rom and need some help. i downloaded the kitchen from Gtrabs new pure form and i cooked it as it is just to check all is ok and all is fine and fast. now i want to to put the new panel manager, dailer, task maneger, x2 keyboard,and all that but lets start just with the panel nanager and dailer if u can help thanks a lot or hit me the ideas im open to lurn thanks a lot for everyones helo

You can convert the cabs to packages or try to create the packages from the dump from gtrab.
Btw I suggest to use Visual kitchen but that's just my personal opinion

other question can i take the Rom of killer8nl if he accepts and adjust in its work?remove things i dont use.....and so on?
and is there a toutrial just for the Visual Kitchen so that i knw how to edit remove or do anything as so?:S

big problems usually have simple sollutions

Oh God i feel so bad now lots of thanks guys... solved 1 im using gtabs kitchen ervens...part 2 i dont knw how to make pakages i got the x2 Raw dump i didnt see any pakages so still on lock bases and its not a ri8 idea to have lets say the old dialer instaled then the new one that is bad work so just like some smal help 2 knw how to change where to change thanks alot for u help...

Help with cooking wm 6.5.3 rom

Well, Im attempting in cooking my first rom. I have successfully ported the 28205 SYS and XIP but I am having trouble finding the New Ext Packages and the Sense 2.5 files. Can someone please tell me where I can find the new sense and ext packages? would be greatly appreciated. 1 more thing with my current rom is that when I upgraded it to 28205 sys and xip the tf3d became unaligned. It is being pushed down therefore the top of it is showing some purple background and the bottom tabs are a little cut off. I think this may be a sideeffect of the start bar being at the bottom. Thanks

You need to learn how to search my friend. Here is the link for latest Leo pkg. Dont add any customization to Manila, and see if it works ok.
