Hi all,

Press volume up + power. A new menu will appear - apply the update.zip and you'll reboot into recovery.

Rename the file to ''update.zip'' (without the '' of course) and copy it to the root of your SD-card.
Now boot into recovery ( by turn the phone off. When its off press the back button (and hold it) and press on the same time. You will be in the fastboot. Now select bootloader and press power. Now select Recovery and press power),
Now press volUp and power at the same time. you will see a blue menu. Now select ''apply sdcard: update.zip'' and press power. You'r mobile will now go into clockworkmodrecovery.

[Q] Sprint tab, Low and Space message

This is after reset back to ea24. All my old info is still there after doing a factory Wipe, wipe cache. All apps crash, and Internal Device storage says only 35.95 MB free. This is with a new flash to EA24 and nothing installed.
Anyone know how else you can force the tab to reset to factory or wipe factory partition and reflash?
BTW this all started right after I updated the Dolphin browser, which did not remember my settings and started the first ran wizard everytime the Dolphin browser was opened.
This is the directions from Samsung Support, but the first step does not take me to any recovery screen. It turns the tab on and then back off if you hold it for 15 seconds.
Victoria: Power off the device.
Victoria: Hold the Vol Down Key + Vol Up Key + Power Key for 15 seconds then release.
Victoria: When the recovery screen comes up, use the volume up key and volume down key to navigate through the selections and the power key to select item.
Victoria: Select Delete all user data to recover the device.
Victoria: To confirm, scroll down and select Yes – delete all user data.
Victoria: The device reboots and again displays the recovery screen.
Victoria: Select Reboot system to restart the handset again.
Those steps should have indeed wiped out any and all settings, apps etc, so if they're still there after doing the wipe (might try doing the process 3x.. galaxy s devices seem to have better luck 3x.. and no you don't have to reboot into recovery, just do the wipe 3x in recovery.) then you might have a messed up device...
After attempting the steps above a few more times now the tab is locked in the Computer and Phone icon and no way to boot in to any other mode. Time to contact Samsung for a return?
Are u able to get into download mode maybe reflash to origional firware and see if it does the same thing

Test:
The TF card to PH11IMG.zip renamed or removed, shut down to reduce the volume key and press the power button to enter the HBOOT interface, use the volume key to select the second recovery, the power button to confirm later that the main interface to enter the recovery
here is the file http://www.mediafire.com/?yfsm6wk2lgyxj9s
each time i have tried to use this it does not open, if you just place on the sd card's root turn the phone off with volume down then it should read that zip file but doesn't
it is posted but none of you tried this ? give some review.
for a reveiw, yes this works, currently the one i am using. and as far as i know, the only one avalible to us. i keep checking xda.cn regulary for more salsa updates, but its hard to find them.
first time, i succesfully get my recovery, it is the blue one, not the orange, unfortunately, the blue is not in english so get the orange one after that, luckily it is in english and it works in any condition. great post, man.

ME572c stuck on settings screen

Hello everybody.
i have updated my tablet and stuck now on the welcome screen page.
I have installed this version : ASUS MeMO Pad (ME572C)Software Image Version: V12.14.1.12 For WW SKU only* from this page http://www.asus.com/de/Tablets/ASUS_MeMO_Pad_7_ME572C/HelpDesk_Download/
i have fellowed this instruction here :
ME572c recovery
Today I did it : I changed a setting I shouldn't and my Memo became unusable (boot loop ?); even factory reset didn't do the trick...
So now I can make a How-to for recovery and rooting ;o)
Recovery (stock firmware) :
==> You'll need a MicroSD card on wich you have to put a file with you PC (or another device)
Prepare SD :
- Get update file from Asus (mine was UL-K007-WW-11.8.3.30-user.zip for 8.3.30 version and WW device)
- Copy file to FAT formatted MicroSD and rename it "MOFD_SDUPDATE.zip"
Go to droidboot mode :
- turn the K007 on with "Power" and "Volume UP" keys and keep'em pressed
- release "Power" when the screen turns on
- then release "Vol UP" a few second later when the Asus logo disappears
Flash :
- insert MicroSD into K007 slot
- Select "SD Download" using "Vol DOWN" key then confirm with "Power"
==> It will flash the device with the original Asus firmware and reboot to display the first launch wizard...
Not sent from my K007...
I found the instructions here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/memo-pad-7/general/me572c-root-debloat-t2992131
Now everytime i boot with power button + volume up i got this screen (picture one and two)
When i try to boot into recovery, the tablet always try to update the system. When an sd card is insert with FW V12.14.1.12 it install it, but nothing changed. When no sd card is insert, a failure come (picture 3)
Everytime after the fifth settings page ( the time settings picture 4) the app go back to first page (picture 5)
I can not get out off the welcome app. even sliding up from the bottom of the screen. Or slide from the top i see no bottoms and no settings
opps. sorry. bad suggestion and deleted
If you see picture 3, just hold power button and press volume-up button. Now you are into the recovery menu and you can do " wipe data/factory reset ".
