Ok so ive noticed after several changes to my phone flash new rom, flash back to stock, flash new rom, back to stock, new kernel, ect. My program storage partion has changed from 1.3 Gb to 800 mb or so... Ive read that there was some issues with repartioning the program storage but i was curious if anyone has actually figured out how to do this... Or what might have changed it so i can get my space back!

Right now im running stock froyo w existz voodoo kernel but i have voodoo lagfix disabled so i can use an ext2 lagfix...

Your lagfix is likely the culprit. Once you disable the ext2 lagfix everything will show normally.
Thank you.. Now has anyone figured out how to repartion the program storage yet? Or some how change the partion tables to all more space on the sd for programs?

Hi all, I had applied z4root and oclf on froyo JPO. I had to do a wipe and a format of the internal sd, (i did not remove oclf or root before).
After wipe I found I had already root, and now oclf says I have already a lagfix, once it said size of xxx.ps (don't remember the name) less than 5k, now it says that /data size is different than ext2 data (i just installed ext2)
I am quite sure I don't have any, also because with lagfix I usually score 1800+ on quadrant, now 980..could the problem be that I restored oclf and z4root apps with titanium? How can I wipe only their data?
TL;DR
Oclf says I have a lagfix but I don't,
How can I fix it?

Self reply, it needed a "restore boot animation", from oclf app.
Hopefully other users will find the answer in this post, since I did not find it before. Thanks to ryanza.

Thanks.
Just what I was looking for
So I'm getting the error from market if not enough space on cm7. is there any way to increase room for installing applications? I install everything to the sd card anyways, but it still says it's full.

Hi,
I installed DREAMteam Froyo v2.0.0 on my G1 recently and pretty much everything is running as it should. I'm just having some doubts over whether Apps2sd-ext is actually working. I have this setting enabled in Froyo Parts, but my internal phone storage is filling up with every app that I install and nothing seems to happen to my SD storage. I'm thinking that I probably need to *do* something myself first to make this work, maybe I need to to create an ext* partition on the SD card? Can somebody help me out with this?
By the way, I would have posted this in the thread for the ROM itself, but I'm not allowed to .
Thanks!
yup, boot to recovery, partition your sd card there... personally id say 512 to 1gb of ext4 and no swap but do as you please
also save your content first as the partitioning is sure to erase all

Great, thanks! I'll get on it tonight
thanks, was trying to setup an old mytouch 3g (htc dream/sapphire) so some little ones could play.
So hay guys
I successfuly swaped my sd cards ..
4.8GB FAT32
2GB EXT3
1GB Linux swap
But every time i restart my tab and all apps which ive installed are away but if go.to settings and look at all my installed apps there are grey boxes with 0,00byte?
So how can i fix it must i create another partition? I was thinking that the ext3 is for stuff like save settings or app cache/data?
Must i edit any file in the root of my device?
Its really annoying :/
I hope u can help me
My device:
-2.3.6 Stock
-Overcome 4.0.0 Kernel

I understand you didn't take out your broken internal SD.
You just partition your external SD.
And not to ext4 but ext3 only.
Maybe that is all OK, I could be wrong.
But have you tried booting without your external SD?
I just suspect your external isn't being used.

I think that the /data partition doesn't work for me?
But how i can allow my ext sd card to write into the /data partition?
Sent from my GT-P1000 using xda app-developers app
By removing your internal SD card like the other thread with success stories.
At least that is what I think you need to do.

Hmm but if i remove my internal sd must i flash the rom again or is the rom automaticly on my ext sd?
Sent from my GT-P1000 using xda app-developers app
No, I think the other thread has all the steps.
And I think you do need ext4, not ext2 or 3.
