Just uploaded the newest image to my card. Only problem I have so far is the wifi timeout if my nook goes to sleep. How can I fix this?

Hi All,
I am thinking about buying the nook color after sifting thru all the wonderful work done on nook by all devs.
I have a question. If i use Nookie Froyo out of sd card, i.e. do not install it on the nook emmc, will I be able to access Nooks internal 8 gb memory? I am thinking about using the internal memory for movies and stuff. Will I be able to play them, if i boot into nook thru sd card?
The easiest way to be able to access the internal /media partition would be to use the Customized Nookie Froyo from brianf21. However, I just noticed the Nookie Froyo brianf21's is based off (cicada's Nookie Froyo) was just updated to 0.6.8. So you probably want to wait for brianf21 to update his customized one.
Thanks.....Much Appreciated
Hey guys first post from a an android noob here!
I just burned an sd with 0.6.7 and am wondering how to use the internal memory as well. I am mainly wondering how to get downloaded books to show on the kindle/nook apps.
Thanks!
Yesterday I wrote the 0.6.8 image to my sd card and booted up froyo and everything went fine. I was going to burn it to the internal memory but changed my mind and decided to keep going with the bootable version.
I reformatted my card using a disc utility to FAT32 and re-burned the 0.6.8 image. It will boot up but I keep getting errors that the application was forced to close. None of the apps can be used.
I have read these boards for hours and can't find a similar situation. That does not mean that it isn't here somewhere. I would appreciate any or simply being pointed to another thread that could help.
simple should my nook be stock before running nookie froy0 from sd card? or will i be fine if i put the nookie froyo sd card in and just reboot?
It shouldn't make any difference to the bootable sd as to what's in the internal memory.

It doesn't matter whether NC is rooted or not. Burn nookie froyo image on SDcard then insert while NC is off then power on. It will boot from the sd card as long as it is in. Remove it from NC to boot on stock rom.
awesome thank you. seemed like a dumb question but i am super paranoid about my electronics.
Any suggested sites for the correct steps for burning img for us mac users?
im running Nookie Comb and whenever i put my sdcard in the Nook turns off! is it just a problem with the rom?
nookie comb does have problems with sd cards doesnt it. it didnt turn off my nook but when i had nookie comb, it would always detect my sd card as damaged even though it worked fine on my laptop and computer. i just switched to cm7.
if you want to keep nookie comb, i suggest you try the following to see if it can be of any help. back up stuff in your sd card first!
1. http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/sd/download/index.html
download either version 2 or 3. i have v2. format your sd card using it. do a 'quick' format but under options, enable 'format size adjustment'.
2. if that doesnt help, try running check disk on your windowd by going to start->search or run->chkdsk

Hi Guys,
Got an issue which is preventing me from going completely to an SD card image and wondering if anyone has had the same issue.
Basically, have used the following SD images (Nookie Froyo 0.6.7 and 0.6.8) off a Transcend 8 gig class 6 card for a few weeks (and left my NC rooted using Autonooter for 1.1).
I would happily use the SD card image and at one stage was using consistently as my daily BUT every so often (this is the hard bit to determine), I would get the SD card image would instantly reboot into stock.
So I would leave overnight and sometimes it would stay on the SD image and sometimes I would find in Stock??? If the NC was running stock, I would reboot and would go to running off the SD image again no issues. This seems to be happening on a daily basis now so am unable to keep running off the SD card.
Have tried http://nookdevs.com/NookColor_Issues with respect "Random Reboots" but happened again today
The other interesting offshoot is that my Autonootered Nook's drive is now almost 100% full and I think this is causing Force Closes.
Just curious if anyone has been having a similar issue?
