Hi guys,
I wanted to flash MIUI ROM. I strictly followed the instructions, but after flashing the final ROM file, my phone doesn't restart correctly but reboots every time to Recovery Mode. I have no idea what I could have done wrong.
The former ROM was "Darkys ROM Version 9.5".
Reflash as your first step .
That fails flash stock 2.2 via Odin with Pit 512 and repartition checked .

Flashed JS8, then MIUI again and now it works.
Thx JJEgan.

Please help what to do still 3 botton recovery and download mode is working, should i flash stoke version usin odin? please help and thanks in adv.
Apart from the sensible option of asking the rom developer you can wipe the phone and flash back to stock using Odin if that fails go back to Eclair .

If you followed the instructions to flash darkys rom properly then everything works fine. try again following step by step correctly

Hi,
Here's my story, I was running stock Froyo 2.2 on my Samsung Galaxy I9000 (India) and decided to give latest SpeedMod kernel (speedmod-kernel-k13e-500hz.tar) a try, things went well and I flashed the kernel successfully via ODIN. After this I went ahead and enabled all recommended tweaks and lagfix (both data and system) this also completed successfully.
Now problem started when I followed this guide and did something wrong (I guess), I skipped the "Flashing SpeedMod Kernel" step as I was already on that and disabled the lagfix (Data + system) after disabling lagfix and rebooting android setup screen came up and my data was lost followed by lots of force closes - I went ahead and applied "galaxys-efsbackup.zip" and flashed "CM7 kernel" as instructed. After rebooting the phone was on CWM Recovery 3 and I tried "“mounts and storage” which did not worked.
Now, I have flashed back the SpeedMod kernal and back to CWM recovery 2.51 but restoring backups is not succeeding, pls. suggest how to get my phone back to a working state ?

Click to collapse
This is now resolved I flashed the stock firmware via ODIN.
Pls. anybody for rescue ?
just download your stock 2.2 rom and flash the stock firmware with odin... should fix your problem
I was on Froyo 2.2, can I update to 2.2.1 latest firmware ?
Also what ODIN version and options should I flash with.
This is now resolved I flashed the stock firmware via ODIN.
Hi.
I installed the Onecosmic's ICS 4.0.3 for I9000.
However, my phone goes to sleep, it will shut down.
When installed, I first installed the CM7 was working as a how-to's.
Main ROM, SuperUser for ICS, in order to install the Kernel, the cache data was cleared.
Startup, setup, all was well.
My phone is the Japanese version. What's the cause of it?
If you know the solution, please advise.
sgs goes to sleep
Mine is gt-I9000, the international one. The steps I took: 1.-Custom samsung rom JVT ,flashed via ODIN, with pit 512 (ie: s1_odin_20100512.pit), repartition. Then fhased a kernel via ODIN (speedmod-kernel-k15i-t13.tar). Then one miui rom with or without wipes. Last I flashed ICS 403rc1(wipe all-->flash rom-->flash kernel-->flash su (superuser) then reboot. You will have to flash twice ( at least the rom). Of course, the files are:ICS 403 sgs rom, fugumodIcs_GT I900 update (kernel),
su-install.
Everything is going smooth, except at times, bluetooth.
Thank you, for your advice.
I try now re-flash my phone.
hmmmm.....
I tried steps,
1: install s1_odin_20100512.pit, CODE_I9000XWJM8.tar, MODEM_I9000XXJM4.tar by Odin3.
2: install s1_odin_20100803.pit, JPM_JPM_U_JPM.tar by Odin3.
3: install CM7.1 for I9000.
4: install speedmod-kernel-k16-10-Odin.tar by Odin.
OK, now boot my phone by CM7.1, sleep and reboot;-(
Now, I try other speedmod-kernel....
日本語でも大丈夫かな。
Japanese ready?
とりあえずI9000XXJVPまでベースバンドをアップデートした。それはうまいこといった。
I tried install I9000XXJVP official rom, It's fine work.
それからCWM入りのカーネルをフラッシュ。
And i flashed speedmod-kernel-k16-10-Odin.tar via Odin3.
CWMからICS,カーネル,suをフラッシュして再起動。
Last, wipe all, install ICS403RC1, install FuguModICSRC1_GT-I9000_voodoo, Superuser-3.0.7-efghi-signed, and reboot my phone.
スリープするとリブート。
but my phone was rebooting by sleep after screen-off.
あかんな('A`)
It useless.
ok,
my phone is SC-02B. is not I9000.

did u do a nandroid backup, you could also try darky 10.2 re im not sure if it will work because you were on ics,you could ask one of the darkycrew on the darkyrom forum goodluck
Flash this ROM (Its Froyo 2.2.1) using Odin:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/665428/AndroidWorld/Herstelbestanden/I9000XXJPU.zip
Make sure repartitioning is checked in Odin
PIT: s1_odin_20100512.pit
PDA: I9000XXJPU-REV03-PDA-low-CL747761.tar.md5
PHONE: MODEM_I9000XXJPU.tar.md5
CSC: GT-I9000-CSC-MULTI-OXAJPU.tar.md5
Flash.
Now you're back at Froyo 2.2.1
If you want CWM back flash speedmod K13E using Odin (make sure repartition is unchecked)
Put it in PDA
Flash

Hello guys!
Im new to the forum but i was using teamhacksungs ics port since middle of december from build 6 on to build 12 without any problems. but last weekend (my i9000 has been on build 13 for some days) i took a look on my phone to get the time and then i saw it was booting. but nothing happened it was stuck in a bootloop.
i removed the battery for some hours and tried to boot but it still gets a bootloop.
im not able to get into recovery mode, only downloadmode is possible.
help me plz, what can i do?
thx for your answers
greets steve
Look three posts above yours. It is explained in detail what to do.
Does anyone READ around here?
boot into download mode...and use heimdall to flash boot.img(in the teamhacksung's rom)(any build)
and then boot again...it will surely boot...
but i recommend onecosmic's ROM
but u did not do the process flashing back to 2.2.1?
I have never used heimdall and im a noob in flashing (it was easy with cwm recovery and the ics port)
thank you very much! i got it
The bootloop problem was covered several times - it happens kinda randomly, so the best workaround would be:
1. If you can boot into recovery - flash the same ROM again.
2. If not - go into download mode, flash stock ROM, install ICS again.
