I have the Speedmod kernal installed and the lagfix with the tweaks. So i just wonder what the quadrant score should be? I now it doesn't matter but anyway.
Is something wrong if i only get 1300-1370?

So... forget it
1300 is a good score.

It typically depends on what your setup is as well.

Nope, nothing wrong with 1300-1370.
Tanks! Good to know!

Stock kernel doesn't support overclock . You have to insert a custom one to get access to oc.
Bty, wrong section maybe

First this is the development section, please post questions in the Q&A section.
I do not believe there is any app that will do the overclocking if you do not want to flash anything. The overclock option has to be enabled in the kernel and stock kernel does not have that option.
using the PilotX 4.0 rom with speedmod hardcore 13E kernel
Pilot x rom?
Speedmod does not let you oc/uv. You would need to flash a new kernel that allows overclocking, and then download Voltage control to enable / control it.
Btw, if you are on a rom / kernel that is other than stock, you have already flashed... So why do you not want to flash again?
You could try this, no need to flash anything
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1060010
by mean "flashing" i meant other rom to enable the OC feature.
what about the exect values to 1.2ghz?

Onix 2.0.5 is good. Try that, install it via CWM.
Anyway,
Ask the dev to post the ROM over at the development section. ;D

Not possible, some cpu`s even crash/freeze at 1.7 Ghz
after rooting my samsung note with kernel version 3.0.15-19220ZCLP1-CL131270.I notice my cpu speed 1200/200 on setcpu.I thought 1.4hgz.Is there any problem with the kernel.By the way, using TeamRocket Rom.V1.5beta
Thats because the kernel is underclocked and it is not a problem with the kernel...

Hello everyone,
I'm looking for a kernel to overclock my n7000 with XXLSZ JB.
Is there one available at the moment?Which one do you think is the best for this?
I tryed to download Hydracore but the link in the original thread is expired.
Thanks in advance!

Will it overclock without an OC kernel?
yes it works on Philz kernel
i tried tegrak and my note restart after few quadrant test in a row at 1.6 gzh oc in free version with stock mv value

its called instability.
some CPU cant handle that high frequency..

mine is on 1.6 OC and never had this issue. i have not changed the voltages though..

There are 3 groups of chips, some are better some worse some average for oc. Search old treads about hydracore.
Hi! couple of weeks ago i flashed "Maxfu_HydraNirvana_n16' on my n7000, worked like a charm good battery life with 1600Mhz oc, but recently i realized that video player and video recording are not working, is there any fix for this?
It could be because of the OC'ing. Try another kernel.

Any recommendations for a similar kernel? i really liked nirvana was very stable excepting the above problems.

No recommendation.. this is purely a test to check if OC is the problem of video crashes.. choose a stock kernel like Philz

There are no problems on Philz kernel, but the thing is that the phone is kind of slow

Yes then its because of the over clocking. It happens with other overclocked kernels too. Another option is to use the same kernel and get the max CPU speed back to 1400. Not sure if its going to work though.
