[Q] Auto-Nooter 3.0.0 - Nook Color General

Does anyone know of any alternate sites to download 3.0.0 from besides MultiUpload or MediaFire? I am in Afghanistan and cannot get the file transfer to complete from those sites. It took me 3 months just to get a wireless signal to register this damn thing and I am not going to wait another 3 to root it if I don't have to. Thanks in advance.

Have you looked at using the CWR to root?

Waiting for US 4g thanks ThaManii
I dont know if/when i'll be able to fish up the us4g or eu wifi ones as the 506/507 ones were named very stupidly. I didnt find the original 514 us wifi one but i did find the eu 3g one.
Keep in mind that this version may be techincally a leak, it was built on dec 19th and shouldnt be released till next week or so under their normal schedule (this is also completely ignoring the fact that the past few weeks have been holiday weeks).
If 514 really hits OTA it may not be till the end of the month
Found all four of them
Thanks Again that was Fast!!!
update zip
i was wondering if anyone can make the pkg into zip files to flash in cwm

Yeah I can confirm there is a download error for the US 4G recovery... if TheManii took it down then it was probably for a reason and he will get back to us. I'm gonna try and flash using the 506 recovery and see what happens.. report back in a little bit
UPDATE: I flashed the 506 recovery that I used to flash the US 4G update package and it worked just fine for installing this update
Here's a post with a link to the download from Dell: http://www.androidcentral.com/dell-streak-7-getting-bugfix-update

Thanks for the link but there's nothing wrong with the .pkg files links, only the recoveries as far as I can tell

It was mentioned above that it would be released by Dell soon and I ran across it. Funny, checking for updates, still shows no updates!
Just a confused newbie! Since I'm still stock, I can go this route.
The 514 recs havnt been prepared yet, I'm gonna do them soon.
If you already have 506/7 installed you can simply use the equivilent 506/7 rec
Edit: recs have been uploaded for 514 now
Who has had success rooting the new build with superoneclick? I tried twice and it hung on step 7 both times. I then proceeded to install superuser via cwm and now have root.
Because I am still somewhat of a noob regarding Android I am not sure if superoneclick did a partial root or what.
One the plus side for some reason the update seems faster. My titanium backups are installing noticeably quicker.

I tried updating to the 514 today and wasn't able to root unless I flashed HoneyStreak R8, which I don't want to really do because for some reason Netflix will not run on R8 here in Costa Rica, but when I was in the USA last month I had no problems. Well then I tried to go back by flashing the 506 ROm for my US 4G Streak 7 and couldn't root that either, once again the only way to root was by flashing HoneyStreak R8...
If anyone has any ideas I'm open. If not, about the only thing I know to do is NVFlash HoneyStreak R2 and start from there
Wanted to report a positive bug fixed with 514 vs 512 that came with my device. When docked in my video dock, the streak will ask to disable the speakers ok or cancel. with 512 no matter what was said it disabled. With 514 it works
Now I can dock at my desk and watch Netflix
Have not found any bugs yet....
I believe 514 was a specific hotfix related to the dock, at least that's what I hear
I'm damn happy they fixed it. After seeing Dell stopped selling the streaks and the Video Docks I honestly thought I was screwed. Surprised they even continued to bring out software updates.
Bad enough I couldn't even get a Streak 7 dock. Morons sent me a streak 5 dock. And then told me after I attempted to return that they do not have one for the streak 7 in stock nor are they replenishing.
A pair of Dikes and a bit of patience fixed that problem
Does anyone know if this update will work on T-Mobile branded Streak 7?

Update to ZV8 from ZV6

Hey guys, I've been fiddling with this phone for 7 hours now...
I live in US, phone's on the Verizon carrier.
Right now the phone is on "LG_VS910ZV6_TO_V6A", it's stock ROM
It's rooted, and has ClockWorkMod recovery v4.0.something
The main annoyance is that it keeps trying to get the OTA updates, but because it's in a custom recovery - fails. So I figured if I'm going to fix the failed OTA updates, I might as well put something good on it, so what I want is to get BrokenOutRevo1.1 rom working (forum.xda-developers.com/...7423), but it required ZV8 being already installed.
the trouble i'm running into is all the posts I can find are either how to get ZV7 to ZV8, or how to get an OTA, while keeping root...
I did find this thread, which says it can bring ZV8 to any LG revolution... I've set everything up, and am waiting for the ROM to download (5 hours remaining)... In the mean time, maybe anyone knows a faster way to get to the BrokenOutRevo from ZV6?
Wow 5 hours remaining to download a ROM!? Your effort is good but I think you're trying too hard lol. Easiest way to do what you're doing (and fastest), would be to update to ZV7 using the LGNPST method and then going here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1583023
Quickest and easiest there is right now. There is no ZV6 to ZV8 method available that I'm aware of.
Could be wrong though.

Well those *.tot files are almost 1gb, and their host is slow on speed.
So, LGNPST won't be able to update directly to ZV8?
Took a minute to find. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1337386 That has all tot files including ZV8. Then go here and try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/sho... name.

Thank you all I uploaded ZV8 to phone using LGNPST, and then installed BrokenOut, everything warks flawless, thank you all!

4. Root the phone with motofail (click the run file)------- this part is really not detailed to where i get this from and where i place it at help on this.
5. Install Bootstrap by moving BionicBootstrap.apk to sd card, enable external sources settings->apps->unknown sources, install, and run install bootloader, and after success exit --- the only part i need help on this one is bootstrap by moving bionincbootstrap.apk. in other words where is this located?

Note 3 OC3 root help

Driving myself crazy over here. I'm trying to follow this XDA thread, but I can't find a working download to N900AUCUCNC2_Full_Odin_Tar.rar. AFH is completely useless right now. If I go to download, it either doesn't find a mirror, or it downloads this 1.3 GB file at 50kb/s. Said I have 14 hours left for download, okay, whatever. I come back to download failed. I've tried on chrome, I've tried on firefox, I've tried on edge, I've tried on internet explorer, I've tried on mac, I've tried different networks. I CAN'T FIND THE DAMN FILE ANYWHERE EVEN THOUGH IT'S BEEN DOWNLOADED 25K+ TIMES WHAT THE EVERLIVING ****. okay. now that i got that out, please help me get this file
dr fone doesn't root anymore unless someone has the .exe from when it did.
UPDATE
still can't download the file
LIT
after days, I've finally downloaded it and the md5 finally matches. no errors. works for OC3 if anyone was wondering. I uploaded it to drive so you don't have to deal with waiting 3 days to download 1.3GB in 2018.
AAAAAND it looks like I can't post an external link because My years old account is too new. Nice one xda.
PM me if you need the link. I'll always have it.
