Whats wrong with 1.2?
Either way, feeyo kept the same memory configuration as CM so that wouldnt change at all.
I tried both and when fully loaded with apps, it is indeed the same thing.

after reading i found out tht 1.1 has better battery life than 1.2 ..

supercharged ...now jus wanna kno if is dere any other ting u can do to increase memory>?

[Q] Stable Froyo Version For SE Xperia X8 E15i

Okay , it's been hours , and I found nothing fruitful.
I just want a stable ROM on my X8 , and get rid of my Eclair.
I want Froyo , not gingerbread.
My device is rooted , Got backups with Xrecovery. I have Stock kernal
Firstly , Gingerdx v021 had a buggy messaging application , and I removed it.
Froyobread resulted into a boot loop on my device (Recovered now using PCC)
And , I'm not able to find a clean version of Floyo 1.0 . I downloaded from two sources , and got different errors. (once a missing file , and second time a MD5 error).
Is there any genuine file for Floyo 1.0 , which is 100%working, if you suggest that ? Or is there anything much better ? Download links for those will be appreciated.
I dont wish to change my kernal , and want a very stable/smooth ROM , and highly preferable choice is froyo , since it would be more stable.
Somebody Please Help !!
Well . I'm using Minicm6 , which is 2.2.1 froyo, and I like it very much. Very responsive touchscreen, nice performance, good battery life, and... STABILITY! I've never experienced force close with this rom.

Can I install Froyopro 1.1 via Xrecovery ? Or do I necessarily need clockworkmmod recovery ?
Any known bugs (except auto-brightness) which you faced ?

+1,
Or MiniCM7 2.2 and Tweak it with v6 Supercharge
Flash another ROM such as cm7.2, ginger DX, ginger Jv etc and overclock with cpu tuner.....729 is optimum CPU frequency.....
Xperian using xda app
I was using the same rom some days back and it was quite laggy
that was really annoying .....
I searched for a fast rom and got a rom which is truly fast and stable
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1542247
you will need alfs 08 cm7 kernel for it
i reccomend you using this kernel as it is really good
Here is the link for the kernel-http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1340861
Download the alfs 8 kernel for cm7 only
after your done with flashing the kernel and rom and once your mobile has booted
Go in setting and click on CyanogenMod settings ..scroll down and you will find performance click on that and go to cpu settings
Change the governer to - SMARTASSV2
Change Max frequency to - 748 MHZ (not more than that your mobile will brick or crash)
Change Min frequency to-729 MHZ
and select the option set on boot
THATS IT UR DONE
Im not responsible if your mobile bricks to death or if it explodes
LOL
Nice tut..
can you tell me why the hell your min frequency is so high???
Ginger DX???????
Before I used gingerdx ..But my battery is draining quickly..SO how can i use that?
And What is the minimum and maximum CPU frequency?

if u use stock kernel then go for PrimeHD v6.0 or GingerDX v25 ( its drains battery though but is super smooth )
try Gingerxperia, altough the developmment has been stopped
im gdx user but i must say that GX has less battery consumption

FroyoPro2.5 works best with alfsV8a-GDX
Use alfs9a if you want but the system isn't complete.. (lots of things stop working)

No buddy, that's the best we can do for FroyoPro..
Are you having problems with it? It should be very fast and never any lags..
Everything works as it should too..

This is my 1st time to install froyo,i used gingerDX a long time and i always get some anoying lags when install 10+ apps and i hate thath
I dont play games but I would like something thaths smooth and fast in multitasking. So i can have 2-3 widgets and open something normal thath i dont get lags,if is possible. Maybe is my SD card causing lags (class 2).
Yeah it must be your sdcard..
Partitioning it in CWM > Advanced would help though.. Choose ext4 filesystem > No ext > No swap..
Good luck..
froyopro and alf kernel...

DSLR ROM is the first rom with 411mb ram (with brian kernel), and is based stock rom, and is running fast.
But, all roms with brian kernel (411 mb ram), have camera bugs ! (camrecorder not working)
And...about cm7, because is using an modded brian kernel, of course camera will not work too !!! (dedicated to dev of cm7)

Sorry, I forgot to tell you that .. The Kernel are having wifi issue with the LK2E stockrom Series and any latest stockrom because It is using the latest wifi driver and cannot be loaded by the kernel .. the only stock that I have tried is DXLD1 and It works perfectly .. to make it work in any stock rom,you can get the wifi driver from DXLD1 .. Its in system/wifi if im not mistaken .. the ar6000.ko . take it and replace it in any stock you want to use ..
