I used the gapps as listed at the cyanogenmod wiki with no issues.
Unfortunately, as XDA forum rules prohibits newbies like me from posting external URLs, I can't list it here.
Googl'ing "cyanogenmod wiki latest version" should return you the page as the first hit.
Ok, thats the one I have but no, market or gmail, grrrrr.... what am I doing wrong?

Has anyone noticed that there is a new nightly CM7 build available - 39? Its dated today, but I haven't seen anyone talking about it. Has anyone flashed it yet, and if so, what has been changed since stable build was issued?

Thanks, but I went there, and nothing came up, just a blank black screen.
I was really just trying to see if anyone had actually tried it yet. I didn't see anything in the developers thread either.
You'll want to use something other than IE to view the changelog site (and the internet in general). Chrome works fine.
CM7 has a pretty wide audience so more often than not the dailies are not going to do much for the NookColor specifically. Most the time if there's a NC specific feature bump there will be a bunch of new threads pretty quickly.

yeah same here, if you upgrade from stable you might need to reinstall gapps, i know i did.
now you can do screenshots
if you install without doing any wipes then it retains your gapps and settings

You can also download the latest Gapps from Cyanogenmod website, and let the original Market update to latest Google Play. I'm flashing ROMs almost weekly and haven't found any problem with it.
Hope this helps

Many thanks

If you go from CM10.1 to CM10.2 you need to also update the gapps. You need version 20120813 that you can get at goo.im.

May ask what version of Evervolv and gapps are the most stable together with the most features working, so That I may install them?

I'm using Shumash's Rom and always found that the latest is the best or better than the last one, I would assume that the same applies to Evervolv just read the last couple of pages in the Rom thread as glitches are spotted and reported /commented on quickly.
As to gapps the same applies just select the PA gapps that suits you best http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397942
Have fun.

It appears 4.3.1 is the version of Evervolv that has the most working..
Is there any app to put on to automatically shut down the system when battery reaches a certain level ?

Hi there
Using the GT-I9000 with Android 4.4.4. (cyanogenmod Version 11-20140916 Snapshot M10 galaxysmtd, Baseband I9000XXJVT.
By the way: I'm an absolute Beginner using custom ROMS...
Right after this actually downloaded update, i have to (re)install gapps, i think. But it is not clear to me, how to act correctly. May I use the last gapps.zip published for 4.4.4, which was downloaded and installed before (pa_gapps-modular-mini-4.4.4-20140901-signed.zip)
or is it necessary to find a new Version for gapps?
If so: what is the easiest way to find a properly Version of gapps
Thanks a lot for your help
as long as the gapps package is compatible with the rom its okay to reinstall
