Hi, where can i find an updated radio? I got a Tmobile HD7 and has a radio of 5.51T.09.29a_22.32.50.10U, and I'm having reception issues with certain parts of my room, in which i had no problems with my other phones...
How do i flash a radio? Have you guys been successful flashing radio only without HSPL or something? Please enlighten me, TIA!

Hi,
I have upgraded my Orange SPV M700 (UK) shipped roms to the following:
SPL-1.30.Olipro
AX3L_OS v2.0.8.2
I may have mis-understood from the readme but I thought the updated radio was part of AX3L's rom update as when it completed everything was updated except the radio version (this still showed 1.30.00.01 in device info. the ROM shows 2.0.8.2).
So I updated just the Radio to version 1.46.00.11 and the flash process completed ok, however still it shows 1.30.00.01 in device information.....any idea how to fix this?
I followed the guides on
http://trinityguides.info/index.php?option=com_content&task=category§ionid=4&id=31&Itemid=66
Apart from the radio not showing the correct version everything else is fine, GPS, etc. does work but I did notice it seemed to get very warm at the back of the handset (can't remember it doing this before the upgrades).
Thanks for any help.
hrdspl 1.30 desn't upgrae radio. Get flash witouth go in bootloader
So, are you saying start the radio rom upgrade without going into bootloader? Just want to confirm as the guides state otherwise...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=316274 I download the radio here and upgraded only the radio. I got error text the first time i tried to flash but when phone go to bootloader flash,it again, works perfect!
here you find the 1.46.30.11 radio too

Yes. In that way you flash with sspl.
Thanks for both your replies, flashed ok and now updated with 1.46.30.11.
Cheers.
can i just re-emphasize that it's quite dangerous to flash radios without hard-spl, and not the kind of advice you want to be giving out on this forum. If you're so convinced it's the Hard-SPL, load a different hard-spl before you flash the radio.. SSPL isn't a good alternative as all it does it bypass CID check, not protect your device in case of a bad flash
Switch back to SPL-1.20.Olipro and you can flash radio roms.
yes, please follow the guides on the site, which now reflect the option of going back to old hard spl if 1.30 doesn't seem to be working.
it is not good advice to be handing out in the forum that people should flash radio without hard-spl. You guys are going to wind up responsible for a lot of noob bricks, and you're lucky you don't have one yourself
Hi all,
I recently updated to the official AT&T ROM on my 750. It updated the radio to 1.54.00.00 but I've been having lost signal issues in places where I used to get full signal. After looking through the forums, I've downloaded 1.54.07.00 to give that a shot. Only problem is, I'm not sure how to update just the radio.
Can anyone point me to some instructions on updating the radio?
Thanks in advance,
Chris
Check out my post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=348271 as I figured it out.
N8NU,
Are you using Olipro's SPL bootloader?
I'm not using his bootloader, and was unable to flash the radio following your instructions. I've been doing some searching and haven't found how to update just the radio if you're not running a custom bootloader.
I'm assuming it's possible if Palm has a Recovery Tool that changes radio fw, although I'm not sure of it's inner workings.
Has anyone else had success flashing just the radio fw? I hate to be negative, but I'm having some issues with the official ATT WM6 ROM 2.25 with radio fw 1.54.27.00
Yes, I went through the unlocking process in the sticky. In the end however the radio was kept at v 1.2 something. So I added radio 1.5 and it works.
Hi can somebody tell me a radio rom which is for german cards like a vodafone card. I had the problem that i can not turn the phone on by every rom that i flashed. I had use the 1.17.25.26W and the 1.09.25.14 but both does not work
Have you installed the correct rilphone.dll? Is it Simlocked?

are you using a WM 6.5 ROM? and, did you flash HardSPL (1.56 OliNex) to your device before flashing? not being able to turn the phone on with "every ROM you flashed" suggests that you have the wrong SPL (e.g., have not used HardSPL or USPL to prep your device before flashing).
I had used Hardslp 1.56 before flashing
I'm assuming from above post that HSPL 1.56 was successfully flashed then? Did you check SPL?
You can find rilphone for each radio in radio thread (which is where you should have posted your query!)
Please post further queries in that thread

Okay, so I think the official WWE ROMs include a Radio update within them, because all the sudden I have the latest HTC Radio. I was not planning on flashing my radio for warranty purposes, but now am stuck. Has anyone been able to extract the official TMOUS Radio (I believe it's 3.45.25.14) as a "just in case"?
There is a dedicated Radio thread for the Rhodium. Try THERE.
I have installed the Rogers radio to stop the calls about the 911 thing, but what I was wondering..is if its possible to downgrade back to my old radio?
Is it like an iPhone? Am I stuck at this radio? If not, can anyone link me to the newest version of the old radio?

Did you take THEIR update? Or did you follow instructions on THIS SITE?
If the former, then you're screwed. If the latter, then you can do whatever you like.
