hey guys quick question.... im trying to find a way to get my bluetooth to work with my skype on my tab...
i really want to get it where i can speak and hear from my bluetooth but i wouldnt mind if i only could hear from my bluetooth and i talk into the tabs mic.
i already can hear with the bluetooth but for some reason it turns off the mic on the tab so the person at the other end cant hear me but i hear them.
ive read you can configure the audio.config or hack it some way to get it to work but i cant find out how.
if anyone could help that would be great!!
Thanks,
Zach

I just purchased a bluetooth earpiece for my IIi in the hopes that I could stream music through it. APPARENTLY, the BT device only suppors the handsfree profile, which means all it's good for is to relay PHONE CALLS. I don't use the phone that often so it seems that I wasted my money. Anyone know a solution to get the phone to reroute music to the BT device if it's possible?
many possible solutions to your problem
There are many possible solutions to your problem and many software. Go to the following blog by Menneisyys (the expert!!) and look for a blog that tells you everything about redirecting audio to headsets.

You rock! I will definitely check that site out, thanks a bunch!
EDIT: Argh, I am an idiot. I tried a crapload of tweaks to get it to play on my earpiece when all it took...get this, was a push of the function button on the earpiece. The icon on screen immediately changed, and now I'm listening to Jingle Bell Rock at pretty decent quality on my headset. Thanks anyways peeps!
Great to be of help.. Merry Christmas... Now, don't you want listen to Jingle Bell Rock in Stereo instead of mono? It's also working fine now, just that you will have to find the correct hack for your phone.. It took me 6 months to get mine..
Guys, same problem here
can somebody show the link again please
Unable to find it on previously posted link

come on guys, use the search function... we are losing senior members because of this repeated questions...
I'm not really sure why it does this. I don't really want, or need everyone in the vicinity to hear the phone repeat out loud to me who I'm calling. I'd like to change it so it only repeats through the earpiece. And since I don't use a headset, that's not an option for me.
Anyone know if there is a registry setting or other fix to turn this off? I've searched but haven't found anything. Thanks in advance. This has driven me crazy since the 8525.
Nobody has any ideas? I really need to figure this one out...
I'm in TOTAL agreement. Don't need my phone screaming back to me what I just said to it.
btw..loved your last album jack.
Ditto this. Let me go 1 further. I get my voice mails attached as .wmv files to my outlook emails. When I click to play one, it opens in the windows player and the voicemail comes through the speaker phone. Like other said, I really don't want everyone hearing my voicemails this way. Is there a way to get windows player to also output sound to the headphone.
I guess what we're all looking for is some sort of global program that lets us select where the sound for ALL apps goes:
1) handset
2) speakerphone
3) bluetooth
Thoughts? Suggestions?
thx

Never heard that one before. Hahaha.
Yea, I've seen many threads in different forums about this same issue, but no one seems to know a fix for it. I'm glad, at least, that I'm not alone on this.
Maybe if there was a way to programatically disable speakerphone, launch the app, and as soon as it is closed, re-enable speakerphone?
Anyone else have any ideas?
try searching for BTAudio, it redirects all audio out to BT headset, i used it on my S200 (Prophet) but i think it will work on the Kaiser

BTAudio is in the sticky thread for the Kaiser CAB Collection.
But will BTAudio direct all audio to the handsets speaker (not the speakerphone) if I want it to instead of the bluetooth headset?
Exactly. I use my bluetooth headset rarely. In those instances, I'd rather all audio going to the speakerphone INSTEAD go to the internal handset speaker.

BTAudio isn't working for me. Especially since I don't have a headset. Does anyone know how to turn off speakerphone using an EXE, shortcut, or registry setting?
C'mon guys, anyone??? This really drives me crazy. I need the voice dialer to confirm through the handset's speaker, not the speaker phone. Help!
How do you get the phone to ring through the normal speaker when connected via bluetooth to a headset. In other words, I would rather the phone rings through the normal speaker, I then hit the button on the bluetooth headset and take the call in the normal way though the headset.
any ideas? thanks
Hello,
Someone has an answer to this?
thanks
Has anyone figured out a solution to this? I don't like to wear my headset all the time just to hear when my phone is ringing!
Okay, perhaps it's just me and these other guys having this problem? Even if you don't have this problem, could you respond to let us know it's just us?
Okay, I tracked the problem down to MS VC 1.6. Now, I have to figure out a way to get this to work, since I really don't want to give up my voice dialing in order to have ringing...

The easy solution would be to put the phone on vibrate.

Alright, this describes the behavior perfectly:

So, the work around is to set "Use handset spkr or wired" under notifications in VC.

Well, that usually is louder than the ringer.

That's what I used to do with my Motorola phones, I tried all sorts of hacks, but in the end placing the phone on vibrate was the best solution.

Hey guys,
I'm having probs with amy b/tooth headset. When I pair it with TD it dosnt ask for a passkey or anything which is a bit odd. It says its connected and the 1st call I make is fine but any calls I make afterwards I cant hear the person talking and they cant hear me? also if I make a call with the handset after that it wont work and I have to reset. Anyone know what the prob may be? I am usint one of Duttys roms, not sure if that could be the issue?
Thanks in advance

So you want to play PS3 while holding a phone to your ear?
What are you trying to do? I think I understand, but why? Even using it in speakerphone mode would suck...I am just confused as to the functionality of it is all, but it could probably be done...
Well I dont want buy bluetooth headset you know how you use it as speakerphone to talk to people, can you it as mic
Hmmm...I dunno. I don't have a PS3 to try. I was just curious about why, but that makes sense.

Pretty sure if you did get it to work that the background noise would irritate anyone on PSnetwork trying to listen to you. That being said the PS3 only recognizes certain bluetooth profiles (mainly the HID profile) which the hero does not have. In short, there's no way that I know of to do it. Many have tried to get it to connect so they can use it as a keyboard or remote, but no one has been able to do so yet.
