Browsing through the 4pda.ru forum i found a nice optimus weather and clock for S2U2 posted by JambazZi and decided to use it on my device. Sadly, weather widgets were not numbered correctly and they were a bit too stretched with a distorted appearance, so i thought i'd make one of my own straight from the original optimus widgets and share it with you guys. After applying the files to gfx folder, set clock alignment to the left, choose option 1 time format and set today's weather forecast to Touch Flo 3D. Lang file provided in the folder contains the modification to DefaultTimeFormat1, needed for the clock to be aligned with the weather widget. I named the clock clockD but you can replace any clock you want or add it as a new clock as long as you modify the lang.ini file. Remember to save file in UNICODE when modifying the lang file and don't save it as text, but "all files" option. Thanks to 4pda.ru & xda-developers member Yurik , who provided me with the original optimus widgets. You can use any wallpaper you like, weather widgets' canvas is transparent. Here's a few screenshots, if you like my work, just hit the thanks button
P.S. Please backup your weather, lang.ini file and clock if you are replacing one of your previous clocks, in order to get back to your initial settings if something goes wrong. Safest way is to edit your personal lang.ini file to have this line, instead of using my lang.ini file, cause you might have different settings for slider, text, etc: s_DefaultTimeFormat1=______':'HH__':'mm

i copied the weather and clock files and paste it on gfx...replace the lang to your lang....and set it up all but nothing happen.

Did u set the time format to option 1 and choose clock font folder clockD ? Clock alignment must be set to left. Are you using Touch Flo 3D ? Did you update weather in Touch Flo ? Make sure you actually replaced the files and not just adding mine and leaving the originals there. Delete the original weather folder and the original clockD folder and then copy mine in the gfx folder. Also delete the lang settings and then copy mine. Make a backup of your files first, in case you want to get back to your settings.

Unfortunately i only own a Blackstone which is WVGA, but JambazZi from 4pda.ru has a wqvga version, you can use his and see if it works well on your device. Here are the files. The lang file is in russian, but you can modify your lang file, instead of using his. All you need to do is modify DefaultTimeFormat1 to the one in his file and add a new clock to option 6 called optimus, i think his clock is called optimus. Or just rename clock to one of the already existing clocks clock/, clockD, clockS, whatever. Hope that helps. His WVGA didn't work for me. If it was shiny outside, i got a windy widget. Maybe his wgvga version is numbered correctly. Try it and let me know, if icons are not numbered correctly you might need to rename them to suit the actual weather outside.

Is your phone WVGA ? Post a screenshot please. You might need to resize the weather icons to fit the screen. The weather is designed to be used with Touch Flo 3D, guess it might work with other weather tools as long as it is scaled correctly. What weather program are you using ?
Yes, WVGA - OmniaII. I'm using IPTweather, mort scripts to modify registry. Maybe you have right, that modification of icons are needed.
I haven't used any third party weather application in S2U2. Send me a link to the icon pack you used before and a screenshot to see where exactly they were positioned, i might be able to edit the optimus icons to appear correctly for your IPTweather tool.

It's hard for me to guess the exact size of the icons used by other weather applications and where exactly they appear on your screen, since i only used HTC default weather i made the icons to fit to the weather provided by the TouchFlo. You should try and crop or enlarge the icons' canvas in order for the clock to appear in the white panels.

ahhh, it's beautiful! weather images look great on HD2, thank you, Sp1tfire! but there's one problem with time, digits are moved to the left more then they have to be. check it out on the screenshot. I've made everything in settings according to the first post. how can I fix this?

Time format should look like in the screenshot below and lang file must contain this line:
s_DefaultTimeFormat1=______':'HH__':'mm

yes, that was the problem.. thank you. I've copied lang.ini to gfx folder together with clock and weather images.. such a shame..
but now something new appeared, see the screen, please. It's concerning lang.ini, as far as I understand, but I haven't backuped the old one to correct yours.

Hmm, i don't use the text in these 2 lines in my lang file.
s_CS2UText=
s_S2UText=
Mine it's blank. Probably original S2U2 text was "slide to unlock" for s_S2UText and "unlock" for s_CS2UText (without quotation marks)
typed "unlock", made some settings changes, now everything is on it's places , looks perfect! you ROCK! thanx!

htc Weather icons.
These have been cropped to 48px wide x 32px high, in order to fit on the current version .97
To put larger icons on screen, the app would need to place them using their top-left pixel as a locator, which I don't think it currently does.
Anyway, these work as they are:

There are tons on the SBSH site but you'll need to use Photoshop to batch convert them to png filetypes and keep the transparency.

Once I've downloaded the icons I like to have from there, I noticed inside the zip file for the themes within Spb weather it shows two lines of icons side by side in a single bmp file how would I go about making these show on S2U2?

They should be in the gfx\weather folder
and it should just show, as long as you've selected spb as your weather source in the S2U2 Settings application.
So I should just copy the zip files over into gfx\weather or should I extract them first?
The file called...
weather.bmp should be extracted and inside the \gfx\weather folder
If you're i8n any doubt, uninstall S2U2 and re0install from the .cab file. All files will be re-instated in their corect positions, including the spb icons

If you use HTC Home Customizer you are able to add a new iconset to the HTC Home Plugin. Some of the downloaded iconsets will also change the icons used for S2U2. Don't know why, but it works!

Here is my first skin for iContact, currently in v0.76 by supbro. As you see below, it has the icons, and different font color to match. I used an all black background for the main list and the grid.
To use the theme, simply unzip the three files, which are the skin graphics, settings file, and the skin settings file. Move them to "\Program Files\iContact", or wherever yours is installed. The only file this will change is your settings file. I have it set to this theme (so the original will not be overwritten), exit on action, exit on tap (instead of minimize), and the "speed" option is on.

Thanks! For some reason I decided to give my Touch the Vista overhaul, even though Vista is the worst thing I've ever used! I've created a matching skin set to match this, it's mainly based off of the WAD2 theme. But not sure if it should be posted, since M$ had the WAD2 theme removed.

Manual Installation:

I used to use a program that lets one display picture slideshow on today screen as a plugin but on wm 6.5 that's not possible anymore - I asked a few people on titanium forums if they could create a panel that does this but they couldn't.

lol funny one eh! I wish I had more time in my hand i would probably do it. What I can attempt to do is a slideshow panel, that's an easy one. tell it the target directory, refresh time and voila, although there aren't any fancy transitions available for titanium but it is very very possible. I'll see what I can do, maybe the slideshow as an addition to CAnalogClock would be nice.

Yeah would be nice.. You would make me adjust the cpr again for the Analog Clock but OK . Cause it seems that your AnalogClock wasn't made for original theme (QVGA). I had to adjust plenty...

GUYS! I'm I the only one that find the phone boring when everything is "done" and tweaked? What am I supposed to do then? Call sombody? Naah.

hey RPEREIRA!.. u know d analog clock dosn't seem to work for me no matter what i do..worrds and everything seem to be shifted upwards so all i can see is the wifi signal and thats all...im using the wm7project theme...

I agree 100%, a few months ago, I barely use 10% off all of the pimp stuff I got installed on my phone lol, that's probably why I ditched the iphone and came back to WM, it's no fun if you can't tweak it to your liking right?

Post a screenshot on the plugin thread, I'm sure someone has a fix for you, it's only a matter of properly arranging the .cpr to your screen resolution.

I can help I could'nt yesterday but today I can! I learn.
Let's be intopic here and post that screenshot at the plugin thread. It should be no problem fixing it for you, if you can already see something Everything in that plugin can be scaled and shifted around in the .cpr file Now: post it!
Had a little spare time so converted the Spil icons for Elecont Weather.
Installation:
Must have Elecont Weather installed.
Copy file and paste into Elecont Weather\Themes folder.
Delete Love.zdx file from same folder then go into Elecont Weather, Menu, options and select Icons, Love
Think they look nicer than the standard icons.
And now with new, improved, theme attached
New zip uploaded, hopefully solve minor graphic issues when displaying UV etc
Instructions:
Download zip file.
Change extension to ell (love.ell)
Then as post 1.

Elecont have just brought out an update.
After installing repeat above procedure.

i used resco explorer and changed the file extension to .ell instead of .zip.
You can also just change the extension on your PC before copying.

We tend not to get to much hot sunny weather in the UK this year

Let me look into it a bit more. I have a few ideas for a compromise solution if I can't work it out.
New zip uploaded. I have just used the standard Elecont red sun for the hot/UV view.
I had a problem with Elecont weather in that it would not allow me to un-install and load latest version. Only thing I could do in the end was hard reset my device (well I wanted to try a new ROM as well).
Have seen another who had same problem on Elecont support so don't think it's anything I did. Will monitor.

Not tested all tiles yet, but basic functions very smooth - tiles animation works fine!
I will edit the post as I go along testing. All I have done is copied your 'Throttle Launcher' and replaced my original one in Programs. Then restarted my TL. I was using Fireslave's one first, but din't delete it. I presume by replacing the folder, it effectively would have deleted Fireslave's theme? :s
And what should I rename the 'widget' folder to? :s
EDIT2: Functionality - Good, better than other themes.
Graphics: I personally don't like tiles - I prefer them without gradient, 'The original way' -anything I can do to replace them? :s
Speed: Very good, smooooth as I said before
Stability: No hangs, no freezes yet.
Issue:
1)With change in tiles, Not all of them changes - Calender, Player and Weather stay as default.
2)Weather: Fonts overlap each other if the city name is not as short as New York i.e. London, United Kingdom is over lapped by -1C
3)App widgets - if I try to remove or edit programs, it goes to a black screen and never returns! I am soft-reseting phone by pulling the battery out and will update if it does it again! - YES IT DOES IT AGAIN! Is it fixable? :s :'(

Rename to anithing) And your stock widgets dont apper in my theme)
Fireslave theme dont conflict with my) You can keep both of them!

Big tile dont change their color!
To update tile just tap on update tile button on weather page, it update lockscreen weather and tile weather)
To replace tile color go to image folder find tiles image and replase it with image from Fireslave theme)
Text overlaps becouse you use another font) Use tahoma and all shoul work fine.
If you change tiles to original please give me a screenshot how it looks

unable to load in qvga even if it loads the tile gets completely scattered and then gives error as shown in ss 3 and the details in ss 2 .
whenever i launch throttle launcher it connects to internet automatically
pls help

I replaced tile colour to original but it din't work as you might have presumed. The big tiles don't change colour as you said, so it looked nasty! Also, many tiles that are for widgets, din't change colours too! I am working my way around it. If it works, pictures will follow!
I was using Segoe, so that makes sense for weather, I will remove those fonts and try again for weather.
I am using Toshiba TG01 - WVGA - couldn't resolve the issues with 'App Widget'

This error appears becouse you dont have enought ram to load skin! Try to free more ram close all other application! Your free ram?

I know that a some tiles can't change color without restarting i,ll fix this tomorrow!
I like background of my big tile) I spend 5 hours to make it, and if i be able to change big tile color i need too rewrite 20% of theme so sorry i dont have enought time.
For App Widget, i really don't know whi it dont work for you( It work perfect on my device.

Widgets don't have error and tested on my blue angel (qvga) it have 128ram and skin works with lag but it works) Try to cut half widgets from sense ui folder and test it.

tried cleaning ram even compltely formatted my phone your wad 2 version works fine,even throttle launcher version by fireslave works dont know why this not loads up .really want to try this theme

did exactly as instructed but to no avail your ui wad version works fine but this doesnt load and as i said earlir when i rename widgets under Wp 7 v.2 it loads but the home scrren tiles doesnt load while the other function works only the hs stay blank

Try to add for 1 widgets to that folder and you find which widget dont work for you)
in my omnia 2 happens same thing tha happened with fireslave's...the blank box in hub name and descriptions...can i solve this???
I'm sure I know the answer but, do I need HTC Sense installed to use this or do I just need throttlelauncher installed (have it for Fireslave's version) ?
I built a custom rom and removed Sense, I really did like it but I had tons of problems running some apps/games, never mind the memory hit it created.
Edit: Attempted to run it, just hung there, I assume it does need Sense, it would not run on my TP2 without Sense on it, Fireslave's runs great on mine.
