[Q] Anybody plz take a look here... - Galaxy Tab Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

is there any solution for my gtab after being like this...i'v boot to recovery mod n format my data and my "system" file...then when i'm try to reboot my device it stuck at boot screen "Galaxy Tab"...
it can go to download mod but that odin can't recognize my tab....

its ok don't be afraid , its always happen to me , when am trying to made theme or something ... u go flash the stock gingerbread via odin , and then flash overcome gingerbread , that if u want it ..... its not a big deal
maybe you can re-install your kies , maybe your usb driver something happen to it ..

Seems strange that Odin doesn't recognise your Tab. Have you got any other USB ports you can try? Does the trick for me when Odin doesn't recognise my Tab.
Edit: I had the same issue after i flashed CM7. As Darkpal said, reinstall the drivers, try a different USB port and you should be fine.
Hope this helps.

Yes from that image your tab seems messed up pretty good. But far from bricked. check your drivers in your computer. They might've been borked or something. Also do as GANJ said try another slot

Download mode, flash a good rom in Odin.
If one pc isn't recognizing your tab, try a different usb port or different pc.

Thank's ya all for replying...i think may be cause of i'm trying to flash via different pc from before...the problem is my pc got screen problem n cannot boot...lol
Anyway tq n i'll report back...when i'm done...lol

In that case you have to sync with Kies before Odin will recognise it.

not found any responses. Here is my situation:
*My computer recognizes the phone *ODIN recognizes the phone *the phone is in download mode *ODIN gets stuck *I have tried multiple times, but it continuously gets stuck at DO NOT TURN OFF TARGET!! *The max I have waited is around 30ish minutes *3 button combo works on my phone *I have tried non-one click ODIN to JH2 and it freezes on modem.bin
I have used ODIN before, and I have no idea why this is not working. If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

[Q] While flashing stock via odin screen gets blue/purple

Hey there,
Got my moms Galaxy over here. Thing wasn't updated and slow as hell so I thought I'd update it. Went through the Kies process but that didn't really work, phone just couldn't make connection despite what ever driver I used (win or mac, got both here).
So first things went haywire when I read somewhere to flash recovery I needed to do something via Heimdall. Did that with the command window and afterwards the phone got stuck in a bootloop (only the I9000+samsung repeating over and over again).
Then I tried flashing GB from samfirmware, which failed. All done through odin, the screen went purple at dbdata.rfs. So I went with stock froyo, from the androidworld.nl forums and same thing happens but now it's a blue screen at factoryfs.rfs.
What am I doing wrong?
Try flashing again via Odin and this time don't touch your pc while it is flashing. That yellow purple screen has happened to me while I was doing other things while flashing was going on in the background.
And check if your phone is i9000 or i9000+ and flash the their respective firmware .

Same thing, didn't do anything and screen went gray. This is so random for me, as flashing is SO easy with my own Desire but this thing is on a whole different level.
Try changing your Odin version to 1.82 and try again.

Actually did both already! The 1.3 was from the 2.2 pack from the Dutch forum. Got 1.82 from the samfirmware website. No luck yet
1.82 shows a bootloader function, do I need to have one of those files with it?
No don't flash bootloader

Since the screwup started with Heimdall, might fix it with that?
Watch a YouTube video and see if you're doing everything properly.
What I do is
1. Go to download mode
2. Open Odin, select pit, PDA, phone, CSC files. And remember to check the re partition option
3. Connect your phone
4. Click start.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
Maybe. I never used heimdall. Maybe you could try that.

Doing all that yeah, exactly in that order.
Hmmm. Then I guess heimdall is your only hope ,since it started the problem.

Hmm, in Heimdall it gets all the way up to MODEM @ 59%. Then it fails and crashes..
weird
[edit] buuuuuuuut I got android recovery back! okay now we have progress!
and now by adding the packaged zImage from CM have CM.. progress again!

Hm, no. It's a replacement cable (cheap) which I used for my Desire, no problem with that at all. Though it might be it indeed! Will be two days before I can get the original cable.
In the meanwhile I got CWM-based Recovery v.5.0.2.6 working.. while installing cyanogenmod it goes "checking blm status", then "install from sd complete".. a bit strange and it doesn't boot into the rom but into the recovery.

Switching back to the original cable fixed the problem for me. Hope it does for you as well, try that and tell us what happened!.
Can I still use Odin then, now with CWM recovery?
You can use Mobile Odin by Chainfire (look for it in the market), it works exactly as an Odin built-in your SGS with no need for PC.

Uhm, well I can't get really into any market as no rom will boot at this moment..

[Q] Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE P7320 brick during root - HOWTO recover ?

Dear all,
I need your advise / help.
Friend of my asking me for help to recovery his Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, he tell me that, during his root process, he brick his Tab 8.9. Now the tab is showing Black all time. I taken a look, and connected to Data USB cable, connect it to PC.
This WIN7 OS direct the tab and install USB driver. When I push on/off button, the tab seems reboot itself into loop. But the screen not showning anything at all.
I put it into Samsung charger ( not USB to PC). But it does not shown the Big icon of battery. But I know it is live. As the PC response with installing USB driver. But the USB drive was pickup wrongly, as some kind of USB reader. NOT the Tab 8.9.
What is the best way to recovery this tab 8.9 to factory ROM ? I did downloaded lastest P7320ZHLP8_P7320ZZHLP8_P7320ZHLP2_CL1174893_user_l ow_HOME.tar from sammobile.com and have ODIN 1.85 ready. I just need to find a way to get this tab into download MODE.
Can you help and advise.
many thanks
James
If Odin recognizes the device flash the stock tar. The yellow com port will show up in Odin if it recognizes it.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using xda app-developers app
Yes, I did tried ODIN, but it does not flag up yellow com port, as it needs to be in download mode in order for ODIN to connect the tab.
It sounds like you're hard bricked. If it's still in warranty Samsung should fix it. If its not look for a jtag service for the tab.
Sent from my SGH-I727 using xda app-developers app
i see. May I know what is "jtag service for the tab" ?
thanks
Google it. It's the only way to repair a hard brick.
Sent from my SGH-I727 using xda app-developers app
hard brick ?
but it is live. able to connect pc usb with response. so just software issues right ?
Sent from my GT-N7100
That's typical of a hard brick. It's not completely dead but the only way you'll get any firmware on it is jtag.
Sent from my SGH-I727 using xda app-developers app
thanks for clarify , it is out of warranty, will advise my friend by it back to samsung repair.
Sent from my GT-N7100
by the way, the tab still up running on battery, my guess if it I let it discharge itself, until battery flat, so it acturally shutdown.
Then charge it again, will it able to get into download mode ?
cheers
James

I would try it but I don't think so. I had a tab that bricked and all I could do was have Samsung repair it. It was still under warranty.

RIFF JTAG box can help ?
Finally got jtag service done. Now the back online.
But it was being installed with wcm recovery, how can I restore it back to factory rom ?
Thanks

Use Odin to flash the stock rom. You can get the rom at sammobile.com. you'll have to sign up but it's free. You can extract the tar.md5 file out of the zip file using 7-zip. Flash the md5 file.

I was able to get it fixed, for what its worth it was a gt_p1000n, the only real problem I have is trying to get clockwork recovery installed on it. Using Heimdall keeps giving me an error saying that it cant connect to interface.
you may want to stop kies.
also try to reinstall zadig.exe, the USB driver for heimdall.
Anyway, in case you don't have the right CWM/kernel, you can try humberos.

Bricked or not

i found my year old galaxy mini s5570 a few weeks ago..it was running the good old froyo 2.2.1...i rooted it and updated it to 2.3.6 and rooted it again...after the update my computer started giving me error "USB Device not recognised" whenever i connected my phone. I tried booting it in download mode and recovery but the computer says the same error. My device is unable to get into recovery but download mode is accessible....i have tried the usb fix which involves a gentle lifting of the toungue of the micro-usb port........i was trying again and again to reach recovery and suddenly i was able to access it (Stock recovery).i did a wipe data and a wipe cache and since then my phone is stuck at the screen where it says "Samsung" and underneath it "www.samsungmobile.com"....thats all i seei cant get past it and now again i am unable to access the recovery.....IS IT BRICKED AND WHAT IS THE SOLUTION..
SORRY FOR SUCH A HUGE POST BUT I THOUGHT DESCRIBING ALL THAT HAS HAPPENED MIGHT HELP......
i have the proper device drivers and the cable is also fine (Tried switching cables and it did not help).
Windows 8? And as long as you have download mode try reflashing stock GB and avoid windows 8 with flashing.
