[Q] Issues after upgrading firmware - Galaxy Tab Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I own a samsung galaxy tab (P1000) from malaysia. I have recently flashed the new 2.3.3 using odin. I downloaded the firmware : p1000zujps. Ever since i have upgraded, the tablet seems to be lagging more and the calendar app will crash. I require some help:
1) Is there a way i can revert to 2.2
2) Is there a version of 2.3.3 will solve my issue
3) Any other advice on how to solve my issues.
thanks in advance..

did you do a factory reset after you updated to gingerbread? also you might want to try P1000DXJPC_OLBJPC_DXJPC.rar which is stock 2.3.3 rom for south east asia region.

thanks,
can i get a link where i can download P1000DXJPC_OLBJPC_DXJPC.rar

found the link.. hopefully all will be fine

You also need to clear your cache and dalvik cache... If you don't problems arise...
This is said on just about every gingerbread rom thread I've read...

Thanks guys.
i downloaded new rom and did a factory reset. Works perfectly now.
hope itll be better now.

[Q] Always roaming after firmware update (I9000t on Cellular One MTPCS)

I have a I9000t on CellularOne (MTPCS). It's original firmware was I9000tubjg5. I updated to Darky's 9.0.3 and it worked great. However the Wifi would not work. So, I told it to do a factory reset, and this bricked it. So next I used Odin to put a stock 2.1 firmware on it from the XDA forums. This worked, but then I could not connect to CellularOne, only roaming with T-Mobile. I then tried Darky's 8.0, then stock 2.2, and now back on stock 2.1. Does anyone have an idea to fix it back to CellularOne(MTPCS)?
I guess the experts on here don't have a clue about my problem.

More like you are in to much of a hurry .
Your problem is you installed Darkys rom it broke something and you compounded the problem by further upgrades .
Take it back to a clean install using Odin Block 2 method .
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=818556
I presume you set your network up manually and you may well have to do it again .If their is no CSC file for your network .
In which case i would personally use Odin to update to Eclair 2.1 and then use Kies for the official update and back up that rom .

I'm also on MTPCS, and i used Darky's procedure from v5 to install. That included an ODIN to 2.1 with clockwork and some other reflashes.
Your best bet is to odin back to 2.1 factory, then start from there. It will take a while, but Darky has the best roms I've seen so far.
Thanks everyone for the info. Nothing worked. I called CellOne and got a replacement. Guess What? The replacement is an I9000 with 2.2.1 preinstalled! Firmware I9000XXJPU.

[Q] Official Vodafone 2.3.3 issues reboot loop after rooting

Hello All,
I am hoping someone can give me some advice here is my situation.
I was running the official Vodafone 2.2
Yesterday after a long wait they released 2.3.3 so I used KIES to upgrade to this no problems.
Later I decide to root the phone so I can use Titanium backup to restore all my files settings etc.
I used a rooting method flashing with ODIN and the put my phone in to endless reboot loops.
I cleared the cache in the recovery mode and then erased the data partition with no change.
I needed to get the phone going so I flashed 2.3.4 XXJVQ with ODIN and it is working.
I want to go back to the official Vodafone version of 2.3.3 but I can't seem to work out how.
Can anyone please give me some info on how I might do this.
I assume if I could get the official 2.2 vodafone back on the phone the I could use KIES to push the new 2.3.3 but I just cant find that for download any where.
Thanks in advance
Chris

[Q] SGN no update to ICS

Hello all you Note enthousiastics out there,
I'm wandering why my SGN doesn't get its update to ICS. I bought it at a cheap bargain sales point in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. At startup I noticed it was a Polnisch or Tsjech version and not a dutch version. It now has 2.3.6 - Baseband N7000XXLB2 - Kernel 2.6.35.7-N7000XXLC1.
I already tried updating via FOTA and Samsung's "KIES"-program, but I was not succesful at updating it. Is there anybody out there who can give me a tip on how to update my Note? I learned my lesson not to buy at a cheap sales point anymore......

Download this rom http://www.hotfile.com/dl/157194177/86a7244/N7000XXLPY_N7000XENLP1_XEN.zip.html and install it with Odin 1.85. Then you`ll have a dutch rom and you will get updates through Kies. Do a full wipe before flashing (wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache). Make sure Kies is not running, also look in system manager.
i doubt it is a problem from the retailer. if you are not seeing any updates for your device via Kies Or Software Update on your device then all i would suggest that is visiting Samfirmware .com and downloading an ICS Rom for your region from there. Wipe your device and flash the new ICS ROM using Odin just as "gee2012" mentioned. However only follow this procedure if you know about flashing using ODIN. If you do not you should look for a tutorial on youtube before flashing.
SGN no update to ICS
Edit:
To both gee2012 and endingcolt007. I finally managed to get the update done with the use of your comments. Big Thanks to both of you!!

Help gt-s5830b back stock rom

Good evening,
I'm new to the forum, sorry for my english, I'm using google to translate the text.
I have a galaxy ace s5830b recently installed a rom I found here in the forum, android 4.1.2 by cwm 5.0.2.6.
Due to crashes I decided to return original rom, I downloaded the 2.3.6 rom original sammobile.com Brazil and made flash by Odin 4.38.
I had several problems related to / data wipe and factory reset, boot loop or not start after returning to the original rom.
Now the phone is running stock 2.3.6 rom Brazil working correctly but if I try to install any application Play Store it crashes and does not go over the OS.
I do not have much knowledge but I believe that the bursts / date and he can not even start, when it happens I can not even do wipe / factory reset.
I'm three days trying to solve this problem without success.
Could someone help me? I thank you.
