XDA's official Zombie thread

Gentlemen,
I broadcast to you from my reinforced bunker with news of the impending end of the world.
The latest update suggest that the good people of National Geography have identified one of the possible vectors of the zombie virus, or, we shall have to say, the zombie fungus.
Please read up on Nat Geo while I stock up on insect repellents.
The only good news to come of this is that the fungi will make it easier to target, a la Halo's Flood.
The bad news is that it'll probably asplode when you shoot the pores. So if the zombies grab anyone, they're goners.
I'll be posting more insight into this new threat once I finish unpacking my shipment from South Korea . At least now it'll be easier to program...

Nah, nothing that cool. Thats just some of the newer firearms on my cleaning bench after a range day. I have more in the gun safe.
The oddball looking rifle at the bottom is actually a Saiga 12. Semi auto 12ga with removeable magazines based off a familiar russian design... Picture an AK47 that cracks of 3" 12ga rounds
These are tame firearms really, I don't have many newer assault rifles yet. From top to bottom they are:
Remington 721 in .30-06 (my hunting rifle)
Gamo Big Cat (.177 pellet gun )
Mossberg 702 Plinkster (.22Lr)
Saiga 12 (12ga 2.75" and 3")
Glock 20C (compensated 10mm auto)
Glock 19 (9mm)

That is so cool! I actually did scour the internetz for a decent detective silhouette to use as an avatar but didn't find one i liked. If you'd read the books you'd see how hard it is to find something relevant, an avatar to match the name.

None taken. In fact i completely agree, although the aforementioned curvaciousness shouldn't only apply to females. I mean, i'm as guilty as the next guy for objectifying people on the basis of their appearance, but it's not every day that you see a fellow forumite like Milad in the flesh.. and i'm sure you'll agree that it's understandable if one finds themselves carried away in the moment.
After all, knowing Milad as i do, it's safe to say that he's not all about the pleasing aesthetics... Ok, he may be somewhat a good looking fella in his own right, (and tbh that whole outfit is really doing it for me), but he also has a great mind behind the facade, and it's a little shallow of people to judge him on his stunning good looks alone. Have a heart, the man has personality and character too you know?
I'd post a picture of myself but i'm too afraid people would either objectify, or more likely, ridicule me instead.

Sometimes ones opinion about oneself sucks, i always though of myself as a not very good looking guy, but when i go out a fair number of girls find me attractive
But when i see myself in the mirror i think, sheet! How am i allowed to go out the streets
But if you are good looking then... You suck for being embarrased for no reason
Someone Ridiculizing and judging other for the way they look proves he has the iq of a banana and its not worth of being heard

It's true! Every mirror i've ever looked in has cracked for some reason. I guess i should stop punching them! Seriously though, anyone who thinks they can do better than SB or Milad should post a pic of themselves...if they dare!
Personally, i'd rather get by judging people on who they are rather than how they look tbh. The internet is full of hot 'looking' people, but xda is full of hot 'real' people.

I change quite regularly. Anyone who has me on Google+ knows what I look like, but the glasses and hair is often different. I've not seen his FB pic - just the one he posted on here.

Anyway, i found this other movie that's even sadder. (It's on my youtube channel coincidentally)! It's from the refugee aid work i did years ago. Anybody else done this? I have thousands of pictures of the experience....

This is thread is for anyone who has questions, or has creative work that they'd like to show to their fellow members! It can be anything from Video, Artwork, Illustration, Photoshop - anything creative!
Show us how creative you are! If you have any sort of questions - I'm sure there are plenty of people on this forum that could address this - including myself.
OR
If you're interested in trying something new out - go download Photoshop, Illustrator or After Effects (free trial!) and try and make some of these things and post your results! It was doing stuff like this where people get really good at it, and start making really amazing stuff (Hey. It's what got me started in my field anyway!)

Yeah, I think the YT channel is more...well random funny videos as opposed to stuff the actual user did. Your photography work, and video lapses look cool. After Effects has an awesome feature where it duplicates and blends frames together - where it would give a smoother transitional effect as the video progresses. I recognized the iMovie intro right away. Cool choice of music too.

The lates one were in quicktime. The first few ones were only at 10 fps.

I love the adobe suite. I have Photoshop, After effects, illustrator, and Dreamweaver. I'll post some of my stuff when I get to a computer.

Yeah! If you got some music you made - post it! What do you use to produce your music? FL Studio? Reason? Cubase?

Here's some stuff I did years ago when I was freelancing.
The first is a band site (band I was in at the time), but we split before the site was finished, hence there's no content. And please note, it was at the time when people were using dialup connections, hence the "quality" of the music

I don't know why, but when I saw this earlier the first thing I thought was "Clarkson".
I lived in Portsmouth for a few years and used to meet up with a friend who lived in London quite regularly. To share expense we'd meet roughly in the middle, which was Guildford. We used to frequent this particular establishment...

Whole town is a dive from morning till night if you ask me! My perceptions may be skewed by having to come here to work every day though!
Like many who live around here, i have frequented one or two of the clubs around town in my youth. One of them was Cinderellas, which i think goes by another name now. Always full of slappers as you'd expect!

Looks pretty cool to me..
