Tested on WildPuzzleROM_2.2.1 v0.8
Attached are flashable zips.
The Lockscreen 3 has two easy slides for unlock and quick vibration mode switch.
It unlocks also with menu button.
It is only "transparent" type - no wallpaper on lock.
On phone ring the old screen (slide down) appears.
Nothing changed regarding wake-up; Power button is still needed.
Thanks

There isn't the Htc Sense 3 Lockscreen
Well
Ok, I edited the title.
True, that's standard the AOSP / Android Lockscreen. Also, there's a guide somewhere in the Dev Section which tells how to avoid making the buttons so "fat", if I recall correctly.
Sense 3 Lockscreen looks like this:

EDIT: Ok, Didn't see your post before mine, kindly ignore this.
OK
Whatever ... you are right.
Nevermind.
The place I stole it from used this name

you have to have a custom rom installed in order to do this, the standard vanilla android will not allow you to do this.

Installing CyanogenMod would accomplish what you are asking for.
please post this in the correct forum next time
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=603
Actually most if not all lock screen replacements do this if you don't want to root.. though you are losing your lock screen for some crappy alternative.
Thanks for the advice...I will put it in Q&A next time my bad sorry!
I just manually installed Froyo 2.2 FRF72 on my N1...I heard there is a prerooted rom you can install but I think its Modaco only? Do you think Cyan will release something like this soon thats prerooted cause I would love to get some cyan and have the trackball thing working!
THANKS for your comments!

Think Cyanogen is going to be away this week but cm6 test0 is being tested somewhere It will come soon enough
No need to root your N1, just install [Lockbot Pro v1.14.1.apk]
Lockbot Pro can wake up your phone by pressing trackball or volume keys
You can also try "No Lock", which is free.
It removes the need to slide to unlock and also allows Trackball and Volume Keys wake.
It also has a widget for a quick activation of the normal waking, so the phone doesn't wake all the time when it's in your pocket.
http://www.appbrain.com/app/org.jraf.android.nolock
FlyScreen is another. And this is the third "how do I wake by tracbkall?" thread I've seen in a few weeks....

Thanks vitorjna for the info
I just stumbled on this thread by accident but your suggestion is really appreciated!
I'd always hate having my Nexus One music going in my car and having to go through the unlock screen if I wanted to skip a song. I even started using Cubed music player since it has a lockscreen widget but the music player itself is pretty bad. Now I can go back to using the regular music player that I like more without having to worry about driving unsafe.
No Lock works but I don't want my Lock Screen removed, I just want wake with trackball.
Flyscreen is crap, I don't want the widgets so I removed them but now I get an update thing every time I get to the lockscreen.
Is there any app like No Lock but with lockscreen?

The way these programs work is that they dismiss the system keyguard (Because the keyguard is what prevents the phone from waking when the trackball is pressed). This is done by creating a window with FLAG_DISMISS_KEYGUARD. Then the system keyguard is gone and the app can either close, leaving no keyguard (Like no lock), or act as a pseudo keyguard (like flyscreen). There is no way to force the system keyguard to activate again after it's dismissed.
Cyanogen's method is better because it's a custom rom.
If you want to try another lockscreen I can recommend my own WidgetLocker, which has Easy Wake (trackball wake) and has slide to unlock and won't try to download widget updates (It uses actual Android Widgets, not those flyscreen ones, so you can control your music from the lockscreen or put BetterHome there or whatever).
http://teslacoilsw.com/widgetlocker
I find I like no lock the best for the moment. Most times I dont want the lock feature but when I do its one tap of the 1x1 widget and its on. One tap and its off on the flipside. Used it on cm as well since I prefer the volume rocker to wake.

Hello,
can you tell me how to setup lockbot pro to wake up when I press the trackball? after a while, nothing I do will turn on my N1, except for the power button. and I hate using the power button to turn on my phone.
Thanks
I've tried "No Lock" and it works well. However its unable to unlock when "pin/password" is enabled.(forced by my exchange email account)
Anyone know of something that can bypass this too ?

Yes, this is designed to replace only the theme, and it will overwrite whatever theme/mod's you already have. so if you've got the 10 or 32 seconds backlight it will change to 15. haven't added those two options to the theme yet. you may be able to flash them over this theme without it changing, but i haven't tested it. if you do let me know.
So far so good. I love the black bar and the power off options.
Thanks
I'm assuming if I flash the Accurate Battery Mod/theme that's posted in this forum (the circular battery gauge with a percentage), it will revert the top bar back to gray again like I've seen in other themes. Can you add the accurate battery mod to the theme so this doesn't happen?

I'll take a look at it. should be able to unless it's resources overlap.
Ok, the second attachment should do it. If something is wrong with it let me know.
Thank you for this. I tried for an hour the other day to get accurate battery working on my blackmod framework, I kept getting fcs and the occasional notification bar without a battery icon.
Edit: After flashing the accurate battery .zip, I discovered it does not pull up the power menu when the button is held, just hangs for a minute and then reboots if pressed again. I'm gonna play with it when I get home and see if I can isolate the issue.

found an error, on mine it reboots when you hold the power button instead of pulling up the power menu. working on it. this is tougher than it looks
I flashed and reflashed this a few times(via clockwork) now to try and get it to work but I don't get the power options or soft key backlight changes. Any ideas?
*edit* I used the first .zip without the battery mod
*edit* I rethemed it after flashing the super clean rom from JT and it worked just fine. When I flashed the puzzle unlock .zip to switch my lock screen the power options changed back to stock.

Thank you for the heads up. Turns out that was a mistake I made while trying to get the accurate battery mod working with it. they don't play nice together so I'll have to work on it another time, but the file without the battery mod should continue to work fine.

No it will work fine with voodoo.
And for anyone who wants the puzzle lock screen with this theme, you can simply create a file in /data/local named enable_glass_lock and it will turn on the puzzle screen, no need to flash a clockwork zip that will remove the power options.
Just flashed this. Love how it looks, but I don't have the reboot options in the power down menu.

I haven't run into this before. Is it showing the black power down box with only 3 options, or is it still standard color?
I think I have the same problem as jbrdr985...black bar, but only the standard 3 power options.

Try downloading it through ROM Manager and see if it works. You don't have to be on the Blackhole custom rom, just choose the themes section under sonofskywalker3 and pick Blackmod Enhanced
Have you done something like this for DJ05?
What's a best app/widget to put a power button on your homescreen that'll put your tab to sleep? The ones that I've seen mentioned so far are Tap Tap App, Screen Off and Lock, AnyUnlock and Screen Off.
Any thoughts on which one is the best? Also, being able to wake it up with the volume rocker would be a nice option.

Widgetsoid includes a nice lock widget and a reboot widget, I haven't seen anything that's expressly sleep though.

LockMyDroid
You could always use MY app, LockMyDroid.
The advantages are that it's an app instead of a widget so it offers many more ways to lock your screen. Examples:
Set it as the 'Action' for the Clock Tap in FancyWidgets
Add a shortcut to your homescreen
Hold the Home button, if it was one of the last 8 apps used (always is for me) you can lock your phone from that menu
Long-press the 'Search' button on your phone
Launch from app drawer and lock your phone

Hi all,
I have just installed UCCW on my Galaxy Gear (running null 10.1) but for some reason I cannot see the New Open and Save buttons - the widget creation screen takes up the whole of the top screen - is this normal?
Also I have just bought a widget to use with UCCW but it does not show up when trying to load a widget - the author has said this is due to Jelly Bean introducing a new encryption feature that google play uses while installing the UCCW skins and has said he can provide a fixed version so I have emailed him and I am waiting for a response - is this also normal?
Many thanks for any help

Hi,
My P7 does not have lock screen, instead of this, loads an annoying app called P7 (which comes with stock ROM).
Any of you have an idea to enable lock screen? In settings->security->lock screen, option appears in grey and it is unselectable
I have updated to B126 to check if there was an issue with my stock rom, but it is the same.
Thank you

I'll take a guess here that you have the default magazine slideshow lock.
Go into the theme app and click customize them you can change the lockscreen style to one that allows widgets etc.
It took me a little to figure it out also when I got my phone.

No, i dont have any lock screen. When i press power off button to go to lockscreen, by default, the P7 app appears with a lot of spam about huawei.
