[REQ] Crackanug's boot animations

I don't know how many of you actually hit the homepage before you start browsing the forums. But I do when I use my PC. I have noticed the mentions of both of Crackanugs boot animations now. One of them was inspired by Halo: Reach and the other by Call of Duty. I would love to see these ported to the Fascinate so we could all enjoy the work that was put into them. They were originally made for the EVO so I don't know if its possible. But anyone with some experience could probably say right away whether or not it could be done.

+1 These ANI's are insane!

I've PM'ed the creator to see if he will allow me to put fascinate versions of these up in ROM Manager for Blackhole. If so i'll get them up asap.

What is changed to allow them to work on the Fascinate? Is it just resolution?

had to convert the sound file to .wav from .mp3, and change the installer to put the files in the right place for the fascinate. they look great btw.

I've got V1 uploaded now, It'll be available in Rom Manager at 11am EST when I upload my new manifest for Blackhole 4.2. V1 doesn't have sound, cause I converted the included sound to .wav, but can't get it to play. going to mess around with the sound more later and upload V2 when i get it working for our phones.

Is there going to be a flashable version that we can download from XDA if we do not have a pay version of Rom Manager?

Will you be able to upload it separately from rom manager for those of us that want to test for like a Samsung mesmerize?

They are in rom manager now, and here are links that should work (video only, sound coming later) for any phone with bootanimation.zip stored in /system/media

Thanks SonofSkywalker! These are the bootanimations I was looking for, looking forward to sound update as well!

Tried that location on superclean EB01 2.4 and it was ignored.... it is seen but fails from /data/local , just displays black from the time Samsung disappears til phone starts....
My regular boot animation fails from /system/media but works in /data/local but I've yet to find the right place to stick PowerOn.wav to get it to be processed

using both jt's bootanimation kernel and eb01 voodoo kernel it's worked the same for me as with 2.1 roms. bootanimation.zip in /system/media PowerOn.wav in /system/etc.

I'm using the voodoo version of Adryns EB01 SC rom v 2.4.... wonder if the kernel packaged in adryns rom is my problem?

[THEME][EC05][6/16/2011]Epic_Mutt v1.4

Ok I wasn't going to do this for a host of reasons. The top two being that we are close to official Gingerbread (I Hope) and because I didn't do much of the creation on this. It is called Epic_Mutt because I have taken things from about 20 different places and put them together along with some of my own items. I have been using it for months but never thought anyone would be interested. Then I thought what the hell. Why not throw it out there. So if you like it please thank the real innovators who made most of this. If you don't care for it you won't hurt my feelings at all.
So I can't honestly remember where I got half the things I have grabbed so thanks to all of the developers in the xda community (I didn't troll just the Epic forums).

LOL it really confused one of my coworkers. I had a good laugh about it at his expense too.

Just tried it on srf 1.1.1 and a slew of fcs.. I think it needs the no ciq mod to work..

Yeah it is using Maddoggins lock screen which requires a rom that doesn't have CIQ removed. This is from his post "ALSO THIS MOD IS STOCK INCLUDING MY THEME SO IF YOU FLASH THIS OVER SRF OR ANY ROM WITH NO CIQ YOU WILL GET FC."

Just want to say this Theme looks great! I am on Syndicate 1.1.1 so it appears I can't use it, but still looks great.

[Bootanimation] Sydicate Shutdown in reverse

I wanted to try something small as a just got in to modding a few days ago but unfortunately I still needed some help. Thanks to qbking77 & jkrough0728 for all your assistance in making this noobs day!
Just to give a little back here it is for any of you that would like it. Before you ask no it doesn't include the sound. Install it with the copy/paste method (not flashable)
Edit - Make sure you push it using root explorer, I tried others like file explorer and such and it didn't take.
Syndicatebootup.zip is the flashable version for those that would like that better. Thanks qbking77!

Its close to it, but the next thing to add is a blue pulse either under all graphcs and text or just the "s". Just learning how to use after effects to animate and render a .png sequence for me and modifying the desc to make it loop till the phone boots.

I actually edited my srf 1.2 to include this when flashing. So technically this is my stock boot ani. Still working on a blue pulsing background for it in adobe after effects. I will modify the OP when done.

I'm digging it, nice clean boot up and matches the shutdown animation well on srf1.2

I'm not sure why you guys did this, when I've posted the original SyndicateROM animation that matches the shutdown several times... I'm responsible for the S + text, and the loop is thanks to Pseudoremora.
The loop is nice, if you ask me. I'm using this animation right now.

Not much changed from EI22 to EL30. You should be fine. Buuut always be sure to make a nandroid backup!

Camera doesn't record in HD on Marcusant ROM MTD v3. Says "resolution not supported."

And like you probably have heard a MILLION times, but hear you go " Me or anyone posting Stuff here for your phone are not responsible for what happens to your phone if for some reason anything goes wrong. If you Wipe Cache and Dalvic Cache before installing a theme then you shouldn't have any issues. If you decided not to do any of that then you are on your own to fix. I own and use my Bionic on a Daily bases and have tested this already and it works great.
I don't take donations so a Thanks will be enough for me.

Also changed the bootanimation, but it's missing the sound. Will update a link with some treats. Sorry for those who liked the Stock Eclipse animation. If there is a need for them I have all of them backed up.
