Hi all!
Typing on the Galaxy is... not optimal.
So I'm looking for a wireless but small keyboard (like this: http://www.meritline.com/acrylic-mini-bluetooth-keyboard-clear---p-47990.aspx) , connection with the SGS should be via BT (or is WLAN better?).
Thanks,
LB

Try over in accessories, try the search button!
If you have means to pack the keyboard with you when you're on the move, I'd recommend a "stowaway bluetooth keyboard", which is one you can fold together.
Yes, I want to take the the keyboard with me, so it shouldn't be too big.
Can you recommend a specific model?

I need something that don't require root. I am running a non-rooted device.

But I would also like to hear about routing methods since I'm on cm 6.1.1
Any experience with working models?

I believe it'll work for the rooted, but not otherwise; you need some bluetooth tweaks to enable host mode.
Since no ROM will offer the Japanese Language keyboard input, and I don't like to use keyboard apps from market, so is there anyway that I can mod the HTC Sense original keyboard input to have the Japanese Language?
I don't have any ideas how should I start it, so anyone can point me down to any guide?
At least please give me a head start.
Thanks.
In the forum for Android Revolution HD in the development section there are a few mods with full Arabic support, I believe this includes keyboard . I would recommend going to that page and contacting the users that Mike gave credit to. They would know exactly what do do.

I find Swype far superior for my day to day use. It's so much faster to type using it, especially in subway, or shaky car...

What kind of controller is it? We need more info then just a generalized statement.

Thanks for the info, I just got the same controller with GS credit and was wondering how to remake the controls for games or things that don't have native support or let you remap in their settings.
Is it possible to put the galaxy note 2 keyboard on the One? Does it need to be rooted?
I really like the 5 row setup. I tried hackers keyboard as an alternative but didn't like it. Too many extra keys.
The note 2 keyboard was amazing.

Have you tried using Kii Keyboard? It has an option for the number row and when it shows up too (portrait only, landscape only, both). Only thing though is that it's a paid feature, although they let you try it out for an hour.
I'll give it a try. I've not used that before.

The Kii keyboard seemed to do the trick... But I'd still love to get the note 2 keyboard for free instead of spending the money. Is that part of the Samsung os?
Can it work on sense?

I don't think it would be as simple as installing an app if that's what you are thinking. Keep in mind the Note 2 keyboard has the handwriting input option and other Note 2 specific features. I, too, would love to have the keyboard. I think someone more experienced with this stuff than you and I could figure it out but if I were you, I'd just look for the best alternative.
Just bought this bluetooth keyboard from Amazon. It looks great, but I can't get it to work. It pairs fine, but nothing happens when I try to type with it. Works flawlessly with my HTC One, so I'm guessing this is a nook issue (100% stock btw).
Any suggestions?

I have the same keyboard and had the same problems until apple keyboard support was added in cm-10.1-20130712-UNOFFICIAL-ovation-emmc.zip.

Thanks for the info! I was gonna root and install CM sooner or later, guess this is an added incentive.
Just curious, is there a way to manually insert the correct HID profile into the stock ROM?
