[Q] Disable display lightup on incomming text-message - XPERIA X1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
does anyone know the registry key to disable the backlight turning on with incomming text messages? I didn't find it in forum and I don't want to install any tweak-software...

Okay, I got it by my own.
The solution is:
HKLM\Dirvers\BuiltIn\RIL
DisableSMSWakeUpEvent => 1 [DWord]
The value isn't there and should be added manually!

SMS troubles!

When i receive an sms, i've 2 problems:
1. When standby: Just a light signal - no sounds or nothing is visible on the screen.
2. Ready: When i receive a sms, i hear my sound and when i wanna answer that sms, that sounds still gone.
What i want is:
1. A sounds + sms visible on screen
2. Stop sound when answering
I hope you all can help me...
Got a similar question: is it possible to get the sound while still staying in standby when receiving an SMS?
I know there's the registry tweak "Wake Up on New SMS", but I don't want the Diamond to come out of standby in my pocket.
I do want to be notified that I've got a message though
Anyone knows if this is possible?
Wake Up on New SMS --> HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL : DisableSMSWakeUpEvent <-- set to "1" by default. Change value to "0"

Yup i know but that doesn't solve the problem of the sound!
I have same problem, do you have any solution
At the moment not... Maybe someone else.??
1. Start > settings > systems >sounds and notifications > notification tab, look for New text message, tick all
2. start > setting > Personal > sounds and notifications > tick "events" (warnings, system events)
and then go to your mssg inbox, open message options, tick request message delivery notification

No new message notification when screen is turned off!

Having a major problem with my Diamond currently. When the screen is turned off, no sound or vibration is made when a new message is recieved. This means i either have to keep the screen on at all times, effectively killing battery life, or not get notified of new sms messages and alike.
Anyone know if there is a secret setting, or a fix here im missing?
Cheers!
Did you even try to search this forum ?
Even in the sticky posts the solution is mentioned.

Registry key for Notifications

Does anyone know what registry key corresponds for "Display message on screen" at Notifications for Reminders.
After I check it and do a soft reset it looses this setting.
I want to made it direct in registry.
Thank's
What Notification are you trying to modify?
Usually the "Options" value has to be set to 13 (its a DWORD) for the notification to display.
Start, Settings, Sounds & Notificatios, Notifications, Event=Reminders, Display Message On Screem

Use a registry editor to go to HKCU\ControlPanel\Notifications\15F11F90-8A5F-454c-89FC-BA9B7AAB0CAD then change the Options value to 10747869 (Decimal value).
Hope this helps!

Disable camera, disable large notification popup, auto bluetooth

dear members,
I have searched through this forum, but could not find a solution for the following :
1) Is there a way to toggle i.e. enable/disable camera drivers to save power. I am asking this as I hardly use the camera.
2) Is there a way to automatically activate bluetooth on incoming call & disable it when call ends. This is to save power.
3) I want to disable the "large" popup notification & revert to the default notification. I have tried to edit registry & change HKLM> Software> HTC - EnlargeMenu > Enable to "0" & EnlargeTitlebar > Enable to "0"
4) Is there a way to downclock the processor to sumthing like 200 or 300 Mhz to save power ?

Appreciate your feedback.
Hello people,
Need your help, await your feedback.

No vibration anymore...

I recently clear my storage of my HTC Tytn II (factory reset) and ever since my incoming e-mail and SMS did not give me any vibration anymore. It does vibrate on incoming call.
My notification for e-mail and sms are set to 'play sound','display msg' and 'vibrate'
My sound profile is set to 'vibrate'
Does this sound familiair to anyone?
(I use the HTC default firmware)
I have had this in the past and ISTR that if you switch the vibrate off then on again in those settings it should work.
As a test, if you open up the comm manager and it should have 'Ringer' highlighted in blue on the left 4th row down (unless yours is radically different). If you click on it it should change to 'Vibrate' and vibrate the phone. Does this work?
