I hear how people say how fast they get a gps lock on, but I don't know how do do that? Is it just in the navigation app? Whenever I try that it just gets stuck on "checking navigation ability" and never passes it
Can someone please elaborate?

Is there a way to see how many satellites it has locked on to?

try and get gps test from the market.
You can use lbstestmode. It shows you the satellites and the lock. Download AnyCut from the market and create a shortcut to lbstestmode.

It it possible to set my status as "away" on the mobile app :S ?
Under settings in the app there's an option to set away status when the screen is turned off.
But i want to set it away even if its not turned off
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA Premium App
There's no manual option for Away, only Available, Busy, or Invisible.
Any hack outthere ?
Use a third party app, like Trillian...

I didn't change a thing within the settings except change the device profile at the top to HTC Thunderbolt, I enabled wifi encryption so I could set a password for the wifi, make sure wifi driver reload is checked, make sure routing fix is checked, and make sure disable wake lock is checked... oh, and I changed battery temperature to farenheit so I could actually read the temp. Lol.
You should be set to go man.

I haven't tried this yet but I have tried other bluetooth like tethering apps and it almost always crashes as if there is some library missing on the gear that it needs.
I was able to get the app installed and running on both devices. No success with internet sharing though...

Part of the issue is that open garden requires proxies in Firefox. Sadly you cannot access the settings to manually configure them. OG does have an auto add but only if you can access the internet.:banghead:

I'm going to use chronicaust's directions for the download booster, except I changed the download booster to the mobile hotspot, since the directions for the shortcut are nearly identical.
TO GET THE QUICKSETTINGS TILE: ROOT ACCESS IS REQUIRED.
1. Download SQlite editor version 2.1. It's 2.99 in the playstore, unless you obtain it free from somewhere else.
2. In apps, find settings storage > settings.db > system
3. Search for notification
4. Choose Notification_Panel_Active_App_List (there are a few VERY similar ones, make sure its the right one.
5. Add WiFiHotspot; Make sure you don't forget that semicolon.
6. Reboot
Mine was a little buggy, so I deleted the shortcut.
Thanks for the response. I ended up using Power toggles app.
Add widget to home screen.
Modify widget by clicking add.
Add WiFi hotspot item.
Click done in upper left corner.

I changed build.prop:
ro.product.name=kltexx
ro.product.device=klte
The last tile on the becomes "Wi-Fi hotspot" (next to Toolbox).
The pull down also changed: now it has "S Finder" and "Quick Connect". 4G LTE icon also changed to 4G and 4G changed to H+.
Then for some reason, even I remove AT&T's Mobile Hotspot app by Titanium Backup Pro, after a factory reset the icon comes back in Apps, without AT&T's provision though.
