Hi all!
I'm on simply honey. 5 and having a really annoying problem.
When I get a call, the answering bar keeps moving around when I turn the phone around.
Is there a way in disabling that without disabling it in the entire system?

Hi there.
I noticed recently that vibrate on my HTC One has stopped.
I have tried all the vibrate settings albright it doesn't go. I have downloaded ViBe and tried some of the vibration settings. I can hear a very faint noise when my ear is on the top speaker when the settings are selected.
The phone has never been dropped and is less than two months old.
Could the issue be caused by the recent update to Android 4.2.3?
Or could a debugging help?
Thanks
Pedro

Did you happen to turn on power saver? It will override and disable the vibrate functions.

If the vibration feedback still does not work, try the following:
Go to HTC Guide, Support, Trouble Shooting, Sounds & Vibration.
From here, you can test the vibration motor. When i first tried this, mine did not vibrate, so I gently tapped the phone, whilst running the test until the device vibrated again.
So far, so good.
Follow and fix Vibrate Stop HTC One M7
My issue is with HTC 828.. Its not vibrating.. Could you please help me??
Every time I call somebody my phone would turn off the screen automatically it would still call them so I have to turn it back on by pressing the power button to use the phone again but with my old phone it had this thing called proximity sensor where it would turn off the screen when I put it up to my ear
Is there a setting like that on the note 4? I searched like on my other phone I have to open the phone app and then call settings but on this one it just settings and looked but cant find anything

theres absolutely a proximity sensor, it's only disabled in speakerphone or if you switch away from the phone app

I know you're trying to help but I don't think you understand what I am looking for and trying to do....
I am looking for an option either the exact option name as of my other phone or a similar one
to not automatically turn off the screen right as soon as I press the call button and only turn off the screen when I put it up to my ear
The exact option name on my other phones is “Turn on proximity sensor”
I have looked in the phone settings I found nothing saying that but now you're saying you tried it and works? What did you do? What are you talking about?...

I cant find the option but mine is doing it by default yes. so i think you have a bad sensor

So you're saying yours stays on when placing a call? But when you put it up to your face it turns off?
Edit: now my screen doesn't even turn off anymore it stays on even tried putting it up to my ear and it still stays on... I have to deal with this tomorrow...

That is how the phone works. You need to go back to stock with Odin. Root then try. Something might of got messed up in your flash. Also make sure no mods are turned on.

Thanks but figured it out! (I'm a... something haha)
The problem with the phone not turning off at all while making a call anymore was because I had head phones in I took those off and it turned off (why it doesn't turn off when you put it up to your ear when you have headphones beats me...)
Now for my original problem I totally spaced and just figured out a few mins ago but I have like a temp screen protector over the whole device and its covering up all the sensors and front facing camera so I took that off and the proximity sensor feature works now lol so thanks guys for replying haha

Hi all,i have HTC one and have a problem with not ringing as long as proximity is covered. Problem was here on a full stock, rooted and now on custom rom. Same all the time. Tried some apps (proximity fix) but nothing helps. Proximity is working fine for calls,no problem with screen lock in calls. Anyone any idea?

try settings --> sound --> "Mute once" instead of "Mute always"
If set to Mute always, phone will not ring when proximity sensor is covered.
Thanx,it's working now but who knows for how long. I tryed that several times and never worked....working now. I'm using some app as proximity fix and maybe in combination with that app is working now. Anyways thanks for help
